I started this game 1 week ago and i love it. I remember my first try was 1 year ago at the free weekend but my pc was to bad so i had to deinstall the game. But finally with my modern pc i can play it and on maximum settings 😎
One of the first things I did in the very early stages was sneak into all the Behemoth Defence Areas with Panther equipped and used the cloaking spray to get my skill tree full as quickly as possible.
Bought this game when it first came out and I just couldn't get into it. It was a mess. Picked it back up about two weeks ago, started a new game in immersive mode, and now I can't put it down.
I can't believe I never gave this game a go, just bought it a few days ago and i'm blown away by the customizability of gameplay, I can tell I will be sinking hours into this one!
i got this game free with my graphics card loaded it and realized there are no teammates so i uninstalled it, now i see the dev has added teammates, so i guess a lot of ppl like me were mad, but its good they listen to feedback, im going to download it and give it another go, i love playing with the AI squad, makes me feel like a leader
Yes, they've done a lot of listening to the community to help take the game to new heights. There were a lot of people upset about the game upon release, but have since been added or fixed. Glad you get to enjoy being Ghost Lead now! 💀
@@mayorebfarnum8114 the problem with the AI teammates is they break the game. You are no longer at breakpoint you are a god on the Island wreaking chaos with your pals. Try it solo its actually harder and you are more likely to use all the gadgets you have available to you :)
One tip you forgot with the Night vision is, if you equip the 4th Echelon head piece, it actually gives you the Night Vision filter from Splinter Cell and makes the Night Vision so much easier to use and navigate with
Easiest way to travel is by launching your drone, using it to identify bivouacs and locations around you, then travel to next bivouacs and repeat, soon you've covered the whole map.
Immersive Mode will hopefully resurrect this game from obscurity. Especially when the fall update drops. It feels like I’ve been waiting 15+ years for this GR gameplay, and my friends/I are loving it!!

It most definitely did, the realism in having to actually read the map and do some actual work made this one of the best tactical shooting game I've ever played.
One thing about those Bivuac smoke-clouds you see in the distance: You don't actually have to go there to unlock them for fast-travel. Just look at them with your drone. Sometimes you need to zoom in or get some altitude, but if you're just starting out, you can quickly get across the map by fast traveling and drone scouting.
It definitely is a different experience. Bought the disc copy the when it 1st came out. Tried it out and put it on the shelf. Just starting out on it again and now I feel like it is worth the money I spent. Looking forward to playing and finishing it... finally.

I think it got its own care, but for Breakpoint, I feel like it was more tailored to what the community was looking for, which I think is pretty amazing.

I have finished this game twice, so here is a great tip for the Bivouac's. Teleport to one, then use your drone to go straight up in the air, as high as it can go, and scan 360 degrees in a complete circle, just pausing on each ? you see with the drone. This will show exactly what the ? is, either an area with buildings or other bivouac's etc. Use the zoom in and out also to get ?'s which are a bit further away. Take 20 to 30 mins of your time when starting the game and you will open the whole map in that time, showing exactly what everything is on the map, and then you can just teleport everywhere the rest of the game.
Yeah, really a huge fan of Immersive mode. I usually play solo, but don't doubt that it's more fun to play tactical/sync shots with real people vs. AI teammates.
@@InfamousTrixsta I think the funniest thing about immersive mode is that you can just go and kill Walker before any of his henchmen. (pretty sure he would have a gear-score requirement otherwise) I think I hadn't even saved Skell. When I eventually got the story quest to "stop Walker's plan", his boss room was empty except for one single, unalerted Wolves soldier.
Immersive mode is what I did the first time around, but gear score is actually really fun. The buffs you can get really help customize your character further, and it doesn't make the guns excessively weak, it just adds improvements.
That's the best way to play. When I first started, I had all HUD on and handicaps on. When I was comfortable with the game, I turned everything off and it was like a whole new experience. Extreme/no HUD is amazing.
If it's your first time playing the game, I wouldn't suggest playing no HUD. I'd suggest acquaint yourself with the mechanics, and find your playstyle. Once you're comfortable, then change to no HUD. Good luck out there, Ghost! 💀

Man, this really must be an entirely different experience from what people got at launch. I got Breakpoint a week ago and after a day, it has become my fav game of 2021. I'm still blown away at the gunplay and world in this game. Over a week in, I would have explored 90% of most game maps. In Breakpoint, I have only uncovered 25% of the world map. None of the exploration feels like tedious busywork. Like in Farcry, there are constant opportunities for emergent gameplay, thanks to the AI and world design
It was a buggy shitshow at launch. I pre-ordered it because I loved Wildlands and was devastated by so many of the stupid changes they decided to make. I liked the survival mechanics and thought they were a welcome addition. But the lack of AI teammates for anything beyond the introductory tutorial mission was inexcusable. The gear level system was obnoxious. I'm playing Ghost Recon; if I wanted to play The Division, I would've bought that game. I decided to give it another go a week ago and am enjoying it more, though I still hate gear level, & I'm only putting up with it until I unlocked the Raid, then I'll turn it off. If the game turned you off at launch, give it another go. It's loads better.
@@charlesboots6508 I remember playing this shortly after launch and majorly disliking the gear level stuff, it was definitely a letdown after Wildlands IMO. But it got added to PS Plus and it received a 60fps update for PS5, and once I heard you could turn gear levels off I decided to jump back in. It is soooo much better without gear levels and I'm glad I jumped back into this, because I've been having a blast and enjoying it as much and at times even more than Wildlands
Echelon is the best stealth but Pathfinder is versatile and op as team support or traveler because it can hold class item from a different class, scan area for enemies and lure them, and it can stop convoys (that always appear randomly) from great distance.
Had the game for a year now as a Christmas present but never opened it till today cuz I only heard bad things but dang it's so good. I don't have any open world car games so this is a breath of fresh air. I'm so impressed by the graphics on my ps4 slim too
i just got this like 3 or 4 days ago and honestly im SUPER impressed. Playing in immersive mode makes it seem so much more realistic cuz the enemies are way smarter making it more difficult (but fun). im a big splinter cell fan so playing this and not having the teammates just goin in doing everything in like a stealth style makes me feel like im playing SC and a lil metal gear as well. all in all im glad i bought it. thanks for this vid

1st thing I did with this game was get rid of that gear crap. Trying to get it as close to the old Ghost Recons as possible. Really dig all the options
Soo fun to play with friends and just do stuff like take some really nice pictures with your characters posing in specific outfits. Gun parts are not only attachment customizable but color options. Amazing. All the gear they have. Game is ahead of its time

Wow, out of all the video's I looked at to try to understand how to play the game. I have to say, you gave a great explanation on all the basic functions of the game. I'm still having a difficult time understanding the map and which missions to complete first. Also, what happens when you're trying to complete a mission and it doesn't let you. Does that mean you left something out. Can you help with that? Thanks
Depending on your game preferences, it could be that your gearscore level is not high enough. If that's not it, you maybe have to check to make sure you're fulfilling the quest criteria. Good luck with it!

Anyway just started playing and was beyond confused, especially after a bunch of missions and side stuff all start popping up at once and when you first get to Erewhon or however it’s spelled. Thanks for checking out the video! To be honest, the 2 games are very different. Div2 doesn't have a stealth aspect to it, and higher level enemies are very bullet-spongey. Breakpoint does a decent job at the stealth portion of the game, especially when you turn off the HUD and assists like enemy marking, gearscore and ADS crosshairs. It's more realistic than Div2 in the sense that enemies higher or low level can die from 1 shot to the head. The games are similar in the sense of shooters, but feel different enough to be distinguished as separate games.

I wasn't the biggest Wildlands fan, enjoyed it in co-op but I didn't like the fact that you can't really run and gun in between sneaking. From the Demo Breakpoint seems to have hit that right balance. Thank you for all the tips in the video.
Gamepass had a sale on Breakpoint Ultimate edition ($119) for $23. I had no excuse but to try this game and thank god I did. Looking forward to watching the rest of your vids for guides and tips
Also this is something I’ve noticed in game both immersive and gear score. Stats on guns aren’t what they seem to be sometimes. Those bars just like in wild lands sometimes are worthless when picking a gun. Attachments do help with stats but sometimes I’ve seen great looking stats on guns be horrid

Just picked this up a week ago after seeing a steady stream of awesome clips on Reddit. I’m slowly working my way through the story love the freedom of approach to any mission you have and the customization too, so much fun.
To play, you're required to be connected to Ubisoft. I've never played a single player game that still requires you to be online. Today wasn't so bad, but a week ago, it seemed like I would take a break on a menu screen for bathroom or nicotine and come back to an "error" about being disconnected and you have to log back in and reload your game
This is my first ghost recon game. Reminds me somewhat of the Far Cry series which I've always wanted to be third person. This game is a lot of fun both solo and with friends.
Just bought the game today because I heard the imersive mode makes the game more so tactical as it should be. This video will help me alot getting the game set up how I want it. I appreciate the time you put into this video! You earned a new sub today

Seems like if you play on immersive you can't sell weapons you get from crates. This is big talking money wise, it's a disadvantage, would you agree? With regular experience you make more money than in immersive, is there a way to balance this? Regular experience limits some areas of the game as you need to level up before going there, immersive you gives you more freedom in exploration.It's nice to mention this 2 things when choosing i think. Nice video. Thanks for the tips. I dont like many of the skills and avoid them as they turn you into a super hero which spoils the game for me. I play without HUD and like you prefer solo with no AI but for tougher targets I take Fixit with me.

Once you unlock all the skills, it unlocks a new menu that allows you to put skill points into the various stats of each type of gun (EG: Assault Rifle Accuracy)
Just came from playing wildlands and i had so much fun playing wildlands. Breakpoint just doesnt hit the same. The menus are way too convoluted and clustered.. The rpg and gear level system is so wack, i honestly dont like it at all. The gameplay is alright but feels way too floaty. IMO wildlands feels so much more fun to play. I keep playing breakpoint but the learning curve is kinda turning me off.
First step: turn off gear score! 🤩 Second: take your time! I came from Wildlands also, but the free flow of combat is a bit smoother for BP. Wildlands has the added difficulty, which is always nice.
@@InfamousTrixsta does turning off gear score make the weapon system closer to wildlands? I like being able to pick weapons based on play stayle and not based on level.. as soon as i find a new weapon i quickly find something else thats a higher level. Its a bit overwhelming lol
@@cosmicbilly that's exactly what it does. You can use the very first weapon you pick up from the start all the way to the end with the same stats. Turning off gearscore makes it so that you choose weapons based on your preferred style of gameplay.

Lol, I'm sorry to say this, but the quickest way is to turn the gearscore back on, acquire pieces of gear/weapons and sell them in Maria's Shop. Other than that, maybe redoing missions, but I feel like selling equipment is much faster. Thanks for watching, and good luck out there, Ghost!💀

I think I understand the question. Story wise, it will keep the same checkpoint last reached. Gear & weapons will reset to the last options used in that world previously.
@@InfamousTrixsta Sorry wasnt sure how to phrase it, appreciate it I didnt want to lose weapons or say places Ive already completed, some games will start everything over when you switch. Ive also noticed after switching you cant pick up guns you can only trade the ones you have on you with dead soldiers, it also wouldnt let me switch weapons during a mission unless I traveled back to one of those Bivouac spots. Also the dude in the missions with the red beret's are the ones in some spots that open those red doors not just any guy will open some of them.. The only bad was not being able to pick up weapons to sell or switch to while in a mission
I was breaking down armor and gear at the beginning, then realized you dont use any of the parts really do you? Did they plan to have armor crafting and then just never added it? Unless im missing something, they should patch the ability to break armor down out.
From my understanding is when the game originally was released it sucked bad. As updates came Ubisoft somewhat listened to the gamers and fixed what was broken and added stuff we wanted and desperately needed.
Has this game in my library since release, haven't touched it, gonna give it another shot thanks to videos like yours. It looks like a decent game now.
It's definitely a better game now since release. I wasn't around back then, but from my understanding, it was riddled with bugs & glitches. Although not perfect; it's a much better experience now.
It’s night and day comparing release to now, just jump in and do EVERYTHING! Stay playing in immersive.. extreme difficulty no hud etc, attack everything with a “sweep n clear” mentality, lastly get into outfits and kits (loadouts) for the respective country of your choice or just personal preference. These things are what have kept me playing.
I was always hesitant to get into the last two ghost recon games. Caught Wildlands and Breakpoint ultimate editions on sale for 32 bucks. Now I'm mad at myself for not getting them sooner

If you're referring to the scarf one that goes over the face with the goggles, it's from a mission, you receive it upon completing the mission. If you're taking about the skull mask, it's from Maria's Shop, I believe. Thanks for watching! 👊🏽
Honestly, I don't believe there is any pros/cons to either. Although, I'm not 100% sure if the hitbox for your character gets smaller being a female, as in your characters overall size is smaller.
I was hyped for this game, I got the ultimate edition on sale, 50GB took a while to download, when it finally downloaded I tried the game it's okay but got bored fast, now I can't be bothered with it, to load it up. So I say try the demo first as this game will destroy your console, it makes my PS4 Pro work the hardest it's ever done, too loud.
Playing for the first time on immersive is overwhelming af. Think I’ll go make a new character and try out regular before going balls deep into immersive mode.
Haha, highly suggest playing on non-immersive prior to jumping into Immersive. Learn the mechanics of the enemies, using and understanding the map and all the icons. Once you've acquired a decent amount of knowledge, then switch to Immersive. 👌🏽
Another tip, I had to Google this and you can swap shoulders when in 3rd person. You can change the key binds on ps4, so if you prefer to press down for your drone to go up and vise a verser now you can. If you aim with L1 but prefer to aim with any other button you can change that as well.
Also using the drone to look across the map and scan “?” Symbols which turn into fast travel biovac locations or placed of interest. Cool part is just by scanning distance with drone whatever u scan will unlock a bit of the dark area on the map
How does RPG = white, blue, purple and gold loot? RPG = Role Playing Game. One of the issues older folks like me have with younger folks is this appropriation of language... especially when you get it wrong. Arthur Morgan is the ROLE you play in RDR2. The Dragonborn is the ROLE you play in Skyrim. The character you rolled up in Dungeouns and Dragons is the ROLE you were playing in your party. White, blue, purple and gold loot is a mechanic that somebody at Ubisoft got obsessed with a couple of years ago and chose to foist upon their players whether it was appropriate or not and it has nothing to do with the concept of an RPG.

I was probably 10 hours in before I realized it, but if you track the smoke to its source, the drone will mark the bivouac even through terrain

I play with the gear level off, all difficulty to the highest, exploration mode on, one AI sniper buddy, and no HUD. It's awesome.

Quick tip: immersive mode and Extreme difficulty is the best and snipers and syncshot make life easier
Syncshot is cool with the drone, but it feels like I’m cheating lol. I prefer running one teamate, and syncshotting with him
All that does is make the game harder and more painful
And people, including myself LOVE and embrace the extra challenge!

Man, this really must be an entirely different experience from what people got at launch.
I got Breakpoint a week ago and after a day, it has become my fav game of 2021. I'm still blown away at the gunplay and world in this game. Over a week in, I would have explored 90% of most game maps. In Breakpoint, I have only uncovered 25% of the world map.
None of the exploration feels like tedious busywork. Like in Farcry, there are constant opportunities for emergent gameplay, thanks to the AI and world design
It was a buggy shitshow at launch. I pre-ordered it because I loved Wildlands and was devastated by so many of the stupid changes they decided to make. I liked the survival mechanics and thought they were a welcome addition. But the lack of AI teammates for anything beyond the introductory tutorial mission was inexcusable.
The gear level system was obnoxious. I'm playing Ghost Recon; if I wanted to play The Division, I would've bought that game.
I decided to give it another go a week ago and am enjoying it more, though I still hate gear level, & I'm only putting up with it until I unlocked the Raid, then I'll turn it off.
If the game turned you off at launch, give it another go. It's loads better.

@@charlesboots6508 I remember playing this shortly after launch and majorly disliking the gear level stuff, it was definitely a letdown after Wildlands IMO. But it got added to PS Plus and it received a 60fps update for PS5, and once I heard you could turn gear levels off I decided to jump back in. It is soooo much better without gear levels and I'm glad I jumped back into this, because I've been having a blast and enjoying it as much and at times even more than Wildlands

I love how playing the game on immersion mode makes the game harder but so much less complicated
Echelon is the best stealth but Pathfinder is versatile and op as team support or traveler because it can hold class item from a different class, scan area for enemies and lure them, and it can stop convoys (that always appear randomly) from great distance.
I definitely like this game alot. Its sorta a cross between other Ghost Recon games & Splinter Cell. Especially when u play super stealthily 😎🎮

Had the game for a year now as a Christmas present but never opened it till today cuz I only heard bad things but dang it's so good. I don't have any open world car games so this is a breath of fresh air. I'm so impressed by the graphics on my ps4 slim too

i just got this like 3 or 4 days ago and honestly im SUPER impressed. Playing in immersive mode makes it seem so much more realistic cuz the enemies are way smarter making it more difficult (but fun). im a big splinter cell fan so playing this and not having the teammates just goin in doing everything in like a stealth style makes me feel like im playing SC and a lil metal gear as well. all in all im glad i bought it. thanks for this vid

Lol Immersive mode...1 click with starter weapon everything dies....You never need another weapon. A toddler can clear the map

1st thing I did with this game was get rid of that gear crap. Trying to get it as close to the old Ghost Recons as possible. Really dig all the options
Just bought the game and I’m having a blast. The one thing I thought was so cool is you could have ai teammates.
Soo fun to play with friends and just do stuff like take some really nice pictures with your characters posing in specific outfits. Gun parts are not only attachment customizable but color options. Amazing. All the gear they have. Game is ahead of its time

Wow, out of all the video's I looked at to try to understand how to play the game. I have to say, you gave a great explanation on all the basic functions of the game. I'm still having a difficult time understanding the map and which missions to complete first. Also, what happens when you're trying to complete a mission and it doesn't let you. Does that mean you left something out. Can you help with that? Thanks
Depending on your game preferences, it could be that your gearscore level is not high enough. If that's not it, you maybe have to check to make sure you're fulfilling the quest criteria. Good luck with it!

Anyway just started playing and was beyond confused, especially after a bunch of missions and side stuff all start popping up at once and when you first get to Erewhon or however it’s spelled. Thanks for this. My friends and I just finished Wildlands and we were looking for something new to play but heard terrible things about Breakpoint. I decided to do the free trial and loved it. Thanks for checking out the video! To be honest, the 2 games are very different. Div2 doesn't have a stealth aspect to it, and higher level enemies are very bullet-spongey. Breakpoint does a decent job at the stealth portion of the game, especially when you turn off the HUD and assists like enemy marking, gearscore and ADS crosshairs. It's more realistic than Div2 in the sense that enemies higher or low level can die from 1 shot to the head. The games are similar in the sense of shooters, but feel different enough to be distinguished as separate games.

I wasn't the biggest Wildlands fan, enjoyed it in co-op but I didn't like the fact that you can't really run and gun in between sneaking. From the Demo Breakpoint seems to have hit that right balance. Thank you for all the tips in the video.

Also this is something I’ve noticed in game both immersive and gear score. Stats on guns aren’t what they seem to be sometimes. Those bars just like in wild lands sometimes are worthless when picking a gun. Attachments do help with stats but sometimes I’ve seen great looking stats on guns be horrid

To play, you're required to be connected to Ubisoft. I've never played a single player game that still requires you to be online. Today wasn't so bad, but a week ago, it seemed like I would take a break on a menu screen for bathroom or nicotine and come back to an "error" about being disconnected and you have to log back in and reload your game
This is my first ghost recon game.
Reminds me somewhat of the Far Cry series which I've always wanted to be third person.
This game is a lot of fun both solo and with friends.

Seems like if you play on immersive you can't sell weapons you get from crates. This is big talking money wise, it's a disadvantage, would you agree?
With regular experience you make more money than in immersive, is there a way to balance this?
Regular experience limits some areas of the game as you need to level up before going there, immersive you gives you more freedom in exploration.It's nice to mention this 2 things when choosing i think. Nice video bro!
Tbh, I normally switch to non-immersive when I need money and then go loot a bunch of weapons/armor for selling 😂

Once you unlock all the skills, it unlocks a new menu that allows you to put skill points into the various stats of each type of gun (EG: Assault Rifle Accuracy)
Just came from playing wildlands and i had so much fun playing wildlands.
Breakpoint just doesnt hit the same.
The menus are way too convoluted and clustered.. The rpg and gear level system is so wack, i honestly dont like it at all.
The gameplay is alright but feels way too floaty. IMO wildlands feels so much more fun to play.
I keep playing breakpoint but the learning curve is kinda turning me off.
First step: turn off gear score! 🤩
Second: take your time! I came from Wildlands also, but the free flow of combat is a bit smoother for BP. Wildlands has the added difficulty, which is always nice.

I like being able to pick weapons based on play stayle and not based on level.. as soon as i find a new weapon i quickly find something else thats a higher level. Its a bit overwhelming lol
@@cosmicbilly that's exactly what it does. You can use the very first weapon you pick up from the start all the way to the end with the same stats. Turning off gearscore makes it so that you choose weapons based on your preferred style of gameplay.

Lol, I'm sorry to say this, but the quickest way is to turn the gearscore back on, acquire pieces of gear/weapons and sell them in Maria's Shop. Other than that, maybe redoing missions, but I feel like selling equipment is much faster.

I think I understand the question. Story wise, it will keep the same checkpoint last reached. Gear & weapons will reset to the last options used in that world previously.
@@InfamousTrixsta Sorry wasnt sure how to phrase it, appreciate it I didnt want to lose weapons or say places Ive already completed, some games will start everything over when you switch. Ive also noticed after switching you cant pick up guns you can only trade the ones you have on you with dead soldiers, it also wouldnt let me switch weapons during a mission unless I traveled back to one of those Bivouac spots. Also the dude in the missions with the red beret's are the ones in some spots that open those red doors not just any guy will open some of them.. The only bad was not being able to pick up weapons to sell or switch to while in a mission

I was breaking down armor and gear at the beginning, then realized you dont use any of the parts really do you? Did they plan to have armor crafting and then just never added it? Unless im missing something, they should patch the ability to break armor down out.

Gameplay and overall mechanics are an improvement from Wildlands. Storyline & setting, Bolivian cartel beats out Auroa.
From my understanding is when the game originally was released it sucked bad. As updates came Ubisoft somewhat listened to the gamers and fixed what was broken and added stuff we wanted and desperately needed.

If you dismantle a weapon, it's gone. However, you can always find/craft that weapon again.

It's definitely a better game now since release. I wasn't around back then, but from my understanding, it was riddled with bugs & glitches. Although not perfect; it's a much better experience now.
It’s night and day comparing release to now, just jump in and do EVERYTHING! Stay playing in immersive.. extreme difficulty no hud etc, attack everything with a “sweep n clear” mentality, lastly get into outfits and kits (loadouts) for the respective country of your choice or just personal preference. These things are what have kept me playing.

If you're referring to the scarf one that goes over the face with the goggles, it's from a mission, you receive it upon completing the mission. If you're taking about the skull mask, it's from Maria's Shop, I believe.

I have just come to this from wildlands so still learning. How do i get a parachute??
Parachute is a skill that gets unlocked, in the skills tree
IS their a strength advantage or an endurance advantage to playing as a male vs a female character ?
Honestly, I don't believe there is any pros/cons to either. Although, I'm not 100% sure if the hitbox for your character gets smaller being a female, as in your characters overall size is smaller.

I was hyped for this game, I got the ultimate edition on sale, 50GB took a while to download, when it finally downloaded I tried the game it's okay but got bored fast, now I can't be bothered with it, to load it up. So I say try the demo first as this game will destroy your console, it makes my PS4 Pro work the hardest it's ever done, too loud.

Playing for the first time on immersive is overwhelming af. Think I’ll go make a new character and try out regular before going balls deep into immersive mode.
Haha, highly suggest playing on non-immersive prior to jumping into Immersive. Learn the mechanics of the enemies, using and understanding the map and all the icons. Once you've acquired a decent amount of knowledge, then switch to Immersive. 👌🏽
Another tip, I had to Google this and you can swap shoulders when in 3rd person.
You can change the key binds on ps4, so if you prefer to press down for your drone to go up and vise a verser now you can. If you aim with L1 but prefer to aim with any other button you can change that as well.
The drone sync shot seems like cheating. Makes the game too easy. I prefer having one teammate, and sync shorting with him.
This game needs a ghost mode like woodlands. And cross play

Also using the drone to look across the map and scan “?” Symbols which turn into fast travel biovac locations or placed of interest. Cool part is just by scanning distance with drone whatever u scan will unlock a bit of the dark area on the map

RPG = Role Playing Game.
One of the issues older folks like me have with younger folks is this appropriation of language... especially when you get it wrong.
Arthur Morgan is the ROLE you play in RDR2.
The Dragonborn is the ROLE you play in Skyrim.
The character you rolled up in Dungeouns and Dragons is the ROLE you were playing in your party.
White, blue, purple and gold loot is a mechanic that somebody at Ubisoft got obsessed with a couple of years ago and chose to foist upon their players whether it was appropriate or not and it has nothing to do with the concept of an RPG.
Thank God they listened and gave us a way to turn it off for Breakpoint. 😅
