Really looking forward to this one. Episodes have been fire lately 🔥
Another great podcast. I think Dick's Black Iron Prison also is an aspect of the human mind itself, not merely something external in the world around us. The endless categorising and attempts to plot causal relationships has utility but also can become our gaoler.
Without question!
Black Iron Prison : if the age of iron is over, it might be because the way the system regulates is no longer with iron, but with silicium.
Absolutely loved this! Great review and I’d love to hear more from you on PKD on your gem of a channel 👍
Jasun Horsley's latest book "Big Mother" spends a big chunk of the first section discussing Dick, his Exegesis, and VALIS. I hope you and he will chat again. I know in your last chat from a while back, he seemed to take offense to one of your comments regarding his trauma, but I hope there isn't any lasting bad blood between you two. I enjoyed your previous chats, and if it weren't for Hermitix I likely wouldn't have discovered Jasun's work, which I have gotten great insight and enjoyment from.
I found Jasun pretty touchy on the subject of trauma. He banned me
@@DevarajSandbergWhy did he ban you?
There's a mirror episode of this on The Liminalist. The Heremetix host seems to have come on there to apologise, while Jasun's still busy being condescending.
This was fucking awesome, thank you James. Highly appreciate the connections to Beelzebub, Grant, and other sacred texts. UA-cam has some wonderful interviews of Phil uploaded; would you recommend them to ppl watching this.
cheers, mate
At 33:33 you talk about Gehenna being the word for hell in the new testament, but this is only one of the words for it, with hades ( ᾍδης ) being used multiple times in the gospels by Jesus as well as the lake of fire and bottomless pit in revalation.
