My girlfriend drives a semi and every time she has to back into a small place everybody stops and watches, and she knows it every time I like to see women truck drivers
I spent a few years as a night receiver for a warehouse store. I dealt with a lot of terrible drivers in the beginning and it was rough. My coworker and I found our groove but only worked together 3 nights a week. The other two nights I was on my own and had to figure out a method to the madness. I got to where I could unload, sort, check-in, and put away up to 8 truck loads a night (using Crown forklifts). Our dock built a good reputation and we started getting regular drivers who were friendly and professional. Word spread about our good service and life got so much easier. We treated the drivers like they treated us and it was very enjoyable. You’re right about people treating each other good. It makes the world a better place.
You were told you’re doing a good job because most women ether won’t do it or can’t do it. You should be recognized for it sometimes? 😂 nothing wrong with that.
