6:17: It would have been **hilarious** if Bodger ran off screen to hit the fly with his hammer and we heard a thunk followed by a loud roar while Greg dropped his head and muttered an appropriate invective.
I loved Greg catching himself in the middle of the green screen about swearing. XD And I'm so stoked to learn about the cave drawings next episode! Also this is my first thursday morning off in a few weeks and what a great feeling it is to start it in the best way possible.
I do hope she's a permanent character now... Also would be cool to see hamish (unlikely if he's not a different character) or maybe they could run into that bard from Stralia again... 🤔
It’s easy to forget the story after dealing with Greg and loot for 40 minutes. The GM should be the one keeping them on track especially if it’s important to the story. You have to remember the cave drawing are no in their face as if they are looking at them constantly in the actual cave so it’s easy for a the dickheads to forget.
@@l33tsamurai during the Kickstarter they mentioned an all-women D&D party (which Rob will still DM) is in the works, so I wouldn't be surprised if Britt is ramping up for that. She put a LOT of work into Clem's character and backstory before this even began. It would only make sense if Ellie's bard, Eldwina from Stralia, comes back for that. Not sure who else they'd bring in. Phoenix Cross seems likely, as she's been more active in VLDL sketches, though not sure if she'd be Willow, as that was just for Baelin's Route. Personally, I'd love to see Rhiannon reprise Freda Orchardson, with the storyline that she got so sick of Fred's sh!t she leaves him to become an adventurer. Unfortunately, we haven't seen her in quite some time.

Pfft. Rob thinking this makes for boring content, not realizing we will gobble up basically everything because of how much we love all these dorks/how amazing all these dorks are (Rob himself included, obviously).
I'm trying to figure out if Ben dubbed the lines or if Hamish just does that good of a BOB impression. 🤔Also, once he said, "Are you even BOB?" I thought they should have brought in David (the "mate rates" mechanic from Bored) for a one-off, as he was also "Fake Ben" in PUBG.
Britt was literally a few moments in commenting on the mine carts as Rob was describing the loot pile, and now these guys are gonna physically lug loot out of the caves on their backs like pack mules?! You have MINE CARTS!!! Also, love love that in this episode the little icon for Ben's name has a pic of Hamish as BOB. It's these little details that are just so... *chefs kiss
"10 minutes is an insanely long time!!! Now have you heard the story of this Rightfully Mine Hammer Which Once Belonged To My Grandfather?" EDIT: Hamish doing the BoB voice continues to murder me in my wake.
Damn, if you get Henry Cavill to even show up at the table.... or the best cameo ever, show up for a season of Witcher Logic, cross paths with Rowan in a tavern setting, and the camera and other NPCs start to follow Henry with Rowan spying from afar... I think my rewatch count would blow up more than the 200 first episodes of Bored
Greg in the beginning: I wasn't in the fight, and I don't feel right looting any of this treasure. Greg in the end: I'll take any diamonds, some gems, and this big pile of gold here.
Britt is right, collecting loot is exciting and rewarding for the players and enjoyable for the viewers since we're getting second hand joy by watching them open their presents.
Robs comment about how "good" content this is... i genuinely love the loot episodes to see the disorganized chaos that it is and its always a fun mess to watch.
You know how great they are in dnd when half of the video is Greg's introduction as a cleric and the party doing math. But yet it's still entertaining.
Rob - This is a great series. Note: the 1st episode of the new settings; not much happens adventuring. I would like to recommend making the 1st episodes an hour long. Please consider. You guys are the best!
It is crazy how much I enjoy BoMish. Hamish being/acting a blunt bastard is ...wow. (Having way too much fun doing this? who knows?) Great vibes there. Love all you guys so much! Still one of the best parts of my week.
I hope there will be an future stealth section where bodger is damn loud because of a million coins in his pockets. Also he HAS no pockets. I hope we get a fighting scene where he is overloaded with 20 Bags full of stuff.
Greg as an artificer actually made a ton of sense from a character perspective. He runs the Honeywood shop and we've seen NPCs forced to buy all manner of useless, damaged, or random goods some of which were magic items. The same probably happened to him all the time, so I can imagine him fixing things behind the scenes to resell to adventurers. Cleric... I don't know. Makes sense for his experiences in the campaign, but I don't know how they are going to integrate that into his normal character when they finally return to Honeywood.
Greg: "I can heal you all if you stand close to me for ten minutes>" Baradun and the dickheads: "Nah, we'll be alright, you suck." Also Baradun and the dickheads, probably: "*dies* "Where were you Greg??"
Being an RPG Inventory Hoarder, and the fact that I love unique items of World Lore, I had to contain myself seeing everyone agree to a skill check (and get only 60% of the loot) instead of at least finding everything (even if they decide not to take it all)
Keoghtom's Ointment is a fantastic item, but gets the most mileage if Poison and Disease are commonplace in your games. The healing is just slightly less than a Greater Healing Potion (average for the Ointment is 11 and the max is 18 compared to GHP which has an average 14 and max of 20). Both are Uncommon Consumables, but where the Ointment really becomes more valuable is both the aforementioned curing of poison and disease, and the fact that it comes with 1d4+1 uses, rather than being single use like the GHP.
I would feel sorry for the shop keeper when my old party came back to town to sell stuff. Shopkeeper: So what've you got for me, Party Leader: Do you have a warehouse or a nice sized barn nearby? Shopkeeper: You're kidding right? *Later in the barn out back the Shopkeeper stares in horror and disbelief at the piles of junk, weapons, armor, and various oddities that pour from the party's bags of holding as they one by one go up to the second level and dump them* :D
Hamish's Epic NPC man character in a nutshell - buy some fruit so I can feed my starving family? - Oh you want me to buy things from you instead? Fine, sure, not like I was begging for you to buy fruit so I can feed my family... but sure I'll buy several bags of holding worth of junk instead... When the NPC's snap is always the scary part...
A ten minute prayer you say? Sound like Greg can do a Bodger prayer. He just prays out loud Bodger's entire 10 minute speech he gave for inspiration. Lol.
Bodger holding his 10 minutes prep talk about his hammer. Everyone: Yes, no problem. Let's do this everyday. Greg healing everyone but needing 10 minutes as well. Everyone: UNREASONABLE! Who would do something like this...
Love the divvying out of treasure bit. One adventure I had, was our group breaking into a cities treasury. Finding chests full of gold the groups eyes lit up, until the DM asked how they were going to carry the loot out. Playing the rogue, I was the only one with a sack. Everyone else could only fill their pockets with a few hundred coins.

Ask him if he wants too come back, and it's X gold. Gotta pay that diamond dust after alll. Plus expenses. I can't help you guys save the world on an empty purse after all."
If he STILL refuses, well, time to roll a new character Bob. NEVER piss off the healer or take him for granted!
Then you invite Hamish to play a permanent new PC lol.
That would be too bad because I think Ben is the best ropeplayer in the group but hey like Clam said "You stood up to your friends, good for you!".
@@patrickrannou1278 time to roll a new healer then, cause you took all the damage because the party outright refuses to defend you anymore, and thus you ruined the party because of your greed, never overestimate your worth lmao.
You know your holiday is going great when you remember what day it is because your favorite channel has a new episode. 😄
THANK GOD ITS THURSDAY
Lol I'm rewatching Friday a week later because I missed something!
Couldn't be any other episode for dealing with maths than episode 123 :)
Would've been pretty wild if that fly polymorphed after bodger smacked it
They need to do a blue screen skit where it turns into Dragon Born Hamish.
I don’t know if you guys get the chance to read these but I’ve been fan of everything VLDL and have been watching this series weekly, like many others, since the very first episode. You guys are doing an amazing job and I hope it never stops! Or if it does for only a short time lol this is really one of the biggest highlights to my entire week. Literally gets me through the long Thursdays at the end of a week. Thank you and keep it up!
Glad that we can help get you through the week. Thanks for being part of the community!
same, best dnd on the web imho
6:17: It would have been **hilarious** if Bodger ran off screen to hit the fly with his hammer and we heard a thunk followed by a loud roar while Greg dropped his head and muttered an appropriate invective.
Splitting currency: the truest D&D experience no other D&D channel will give you!!
I love how hard it seemed to be for you guys to keep a straight face around Hamish-Bob.
I loved Greg catching himself in the middle of the green screen about swearing. XD And I'm so stoked to learn about the cave drawings next episode!
Also this is my first thursday morning off in a few weeks and what a great feeling it is to start it in the best way possible.
We all remember the Epic NPC Man episode where Greg snapped. Now imagine him doing that as a life cleric.
DnD group spending 40 minutes rolling on and negotiating loot already makes this the most realistic DnD channel on UA-cam.
Britt Reminding the group about the important Stuff that Rob told them Makes her an Invaluable member of the group
I do hope she's a permanent character now... Also would be cool to see hamish (unlikely if he's not a different character) or maybe they could run into that bard from Stralia again... 🤔
@@l33tsamurai i miss grin already
Good thing shes gonna stay forever, right Rob?
Bodger talks for 10 minutes about his hammer everyday.
Group: Annoyed but fine.
Greg wants to spend 10 minutes healing.
Group: That is outrageous!
*Greg:* "I've been learning _magic_ to help me assess when you're all damaged. I'll be able to tell when you're damaged now!" [. . .]
*Baradun:* _"Or,_ we could just look at the health bars above our heads. See, we've all got a health bar above our heads!"
*Bob:* "Yeah, it's right there."
*Clementine:* "streamlined and concise."
😂 It's ok, Greg. _We_ appreciate your new skills!!
[I love so much those moments when our NPCs remember they're in a game, and use it.]
Bodger telling Greg about the hammer again when he's trying to pray made my morning.
These last few episodes have been a bright spot on an rather dim couple of weeks. thanks Rob and the VLDL crew
Surprised no one suggested Bodger take their silver and copper to the Elven "airport"/custom's "coinstar".
The image of Bodger dragging and dumping a sack of coins to the fountain gave me a chuckle, thanks for that 😂
i almost pissed myself when he came in dressed up as Bob, but looking all suspicious (8:47) 😂
Pfft. Rob thinking this makes for boring content, not realizing we will gobble up basically everything because of how much we love all these dorks/how amazing all these dorks are (Rob himself included, obviously).
Ah, teh good old Loot argument episode. Every gaming group goes through that :)
Oh my god Adam losing it at Hamish Bob is the best
I'm trying to figure out if Ben dubbed the lines or if Hamish just does that good of a BOB impression. 🤔Also, once he said, "Are you even BOB?" I thought they should have brought in David (the "mate rates" mechanic from Bored) for a one-off, as he was also "Fake Ben" in PUBG.
Britt: You stood up to your friends. That's the hardest part.
Sounds so HP. But than again she is playing a student at a magic school.
It definitely does, 10 points for Gryffindor! ;) I think I've heard/read somewhere that Britt is a fan?
Loved seeing Alan breaking on the greenscreen whenever he looked at Hamish!Bob
Britt was literally a few moments in commenting on the mine carts as Rob was describing the loot pile, and now these guys are gonna physically lug loot out of the caves on their backs like pack mules?! You have MINE CARTS!!!
Also, love love that in this episode the little icon for Ben's name has a pic of Hamish as BOB. It's these little details that are just so... *chefs kiss
Yeah, but then what?
@@meoff7602 take to town and trade the lesser currency for the greater less bulky coin. And perhaps buy a bag of holding. 😉🤣
@@thehappyhalflingthey already have a bag of holding 😂
"10 minutes is an insanely long time!!! Now have you heard the story of this Rightfully Mine Hammer Which Once Belonged To My Grandfather?"
EDIT: Hamish doing the BoB voice continues to murder me in my wake.
Damn, if you get Henry Cavill to even show up at the table.... or the best cameo ever, show up for a season of Witcher Logic, cross paths with Rowan in a tavern setting, and the camera and other NPCs start to follow Henry with Rowan spying from afar... I think my rewatch count would blow up more than the 200 first episodes of Bored
jusrt have him as bob in green screen for episode and nobody mentions it.
Now that they have access to revivify and raise dead (despite lacking the resource), Rob no longer needs to pull his punches 😄
Bob just needs to be wearing diamonds on his person at all times
I really hope that Clem stays around for a while, I love Brit's energy so much 😄
Greg in the beginning: I wasn't in the fight, and I don't feel right looting any of this treasure.
Greg in the end: I'll take any diamonds, some gems, and this big pile of gold here.
Love Rob's constant concern about them dragging their feet, but this episode was a pure gem! Loved it!
Britt is right, collecting loot is exciting and rewarding for the players and enjoyable for the viewers since we're getting second hand joy by watching them open their presents.
30:10: "Truth is always the way!" ... Bonus XP for Greg for that!
If Henry Cavil becomes a guest character, I'd probably squee.
Scratch that "probably" for me.
Lol keep dreaming
@@phantom6512 Yeah, it is just a dream, but beautifull dream, you know?
@@jajsem1109 of course, who wouldn't want Henry Cavill on their D&D show?
He will be announced as a new character, but shortly after, have to retract that. 😳
I was totally expecting bodger to hit the fly with his hammer and polymorph it.
Robs comment about how "good" content this is... i genuinely love the loot episodes to see the disorganized chaos that it is and its always a fun mess to watch.
I don't think it was intentional but I enjoyed the throw away joke of Ben saying "I punch Greg" which was a bit from the really early ep
I love the bits at the end with Henry Cavil pitch and how you can hear Rob and Britt laughing off camera. Its just makes me smile
I love the casual Six60 reference during the money counting. "Don't forget your roots" is such an awesome song 😃
"bob" with his assume joke had me in stitches. Hadn't heard that one ever
You know how great they are in dnd when half of the video is Greg's introduction as a cleric and the party doing math. But yet it's still entertaining.
He'll yea its looting time... and nice crisp fresh lore I hope. What tales do these walls portray I wounder...
Cleric Greg is awesome. I’m really looking forward to this story arc. Great episode all!!
Rob - This is a great series.
Note: the 1st episode of the new settings; not much happens adventuring. I would like to recommend making the 1st episodes an hour long.
Please consider. You guys are the best!
Bodger getting happy he has all his copper, shame it will be all gone when he finds a casino :)
I love the look Ben gives when he says "hey Henry"
Alan creasing during the green screen is always a great moment in these videos 😂
I'm looking forward to the next episode. It's so great having all 5 in this! Plus Hamish as Bob is killing me! 😆
As far as guest characters go, Cavill would be a close second to the fly.
Aaah, seeing the cleric hate the party already.
I just love how they completely annoy him, and he tries to be holy, but just fails by miles.
I love Ben’s commitment to legs day. Can’t skip it. Thank you Hamish for standing in.
Hamish doing the Math Owies while portraying Ben/Bob was a very nice touch. 💚
It is crazy how much I enjoy BoMish.
Hamish being/acting a blunt bastard is ...wow. (Having way too much fun doing this? who knows?) Great vibes there.
Love all you guys so much! Still one of the best parts of my week.
25:48: Bodger is going to have a WILD time at the casino when they get back and are waiting for the invite? Yes?
I hope there will be an future stealth section where bodger is damn loud because of a million coins in his pockets. Also he HAS no pockets. I hope we get a fighting scene where he is overloaded with 20 Bags full of stuff.
Hehehehehe LOL
29:00 *manipulated laughter* haha. I always have the captions on so I don't miss these gems lol
"What the fuck is this ugly robe, Gred?" says Baradun, who is wearing the same robes only in red.
Ben's shameless request at the end of the video made my day.
Yes, he needs someone besides Hamish to fill in for him on the green screen.
Greg: "I can heal you all if you stand close to me for ten minutes>"
Baradun and the dickheads: "Nah, we'll be alright, you suck."
Also Baradun and the dickheads, probably: "*dies* "Where were you Greg??"
"Greg the Grey" could have been a better "Name Title" for his Evolved Existence...
Being an RPG Inventory Hoarder, and the fact that I love unique items of World Lore, I had to contain myself seeing everyone agree to a skill check (and get only 60% of the loot) instead of at least finding everything (even if they decide not to take it all)
Ben's face at 10:42 had me rolling! 🤣
Screenshot it and post it everywhere
@@VivaLaDirtLeagueDnD lol ok
Keoghtom's Ointment is a fantastic item, but gets the most mileage if Poison and Disease are commonplace in your games. The healing is just slightly less than a Greater Healing Potion (average for the Ointment is 11 and the max is 18 compared to GHP which has an average 14 and max of 20). Both are Uncommon Consumables, but where the Ointment really becomes more valuable is both the aforementioned curing of poison and disease, and the fact that it comes with 1d4+1 uses, rather than being single use like the GHP.
Hamish playing Bob nearly bursting with laughter is great :D
great episode. i love loot episodes and team bonding. you all do such a fantastic job.
Only these guys can make a loot distribution episode a good watch!
i think the baby inside bodger is eating part of his brain because he keep forgetting that he tells everyone that it is his hammer hahahaXD
My day goes as follows; wake up, work, go home, become very bored very quickly, become very happy when I see a new episode releases.
Bodger complaining about waiting 10 mins is hilarious 😂
What do you mean with a whole episode just for dividing the loot is boring?
Also, Hamish'sh impression of Bob is outstanding!
Somehow this group makes an episode of purely looting funny and worth the wait.
The fly has summoned its minions because I have had gnats attacking me the last three times I have watched these videos!!!
I just binge watched 123 episodes...now I join the rest of the group to patiently wait for a Thursday
Hamish's Bob impersonation is so entertaining and pretty spot on
My favorite part of this episode was Alan trying not to laugh in every single green screen.
