This had some of the most impressive character development I've ever seen in a stop motion. Hats off to you, for making one of the greatest zombie stop motions on UA-cam.
Errol's backstory, the way you directed the flashbacks was brilliant, and the way he changed his mind about the dog, because he couldn't let it die. And his whole motive for coming to California, just to pay a visit to his late mother.
@@anonhannn Thanks for your feedback, Yeah I didn't reveal the detail of the reason of travel until the end. I made him be the opposite of the walking dead characters, not picking a fight with zombies and at the end he knew he would not win against the military so he lured them into an ambush using the zombies he didn't kill.
I just finished watching the whole film. Absolutely amazing. You have great character development skills and your cinematography is superb. Great work man. It's not just the duration that is impressive, it is your overall skill at stories and bringing the figures to life.
I would have to say the flashback where the are in quarantine and the guys come to kill them not realizing that everyone was "infected". It was sad and made you think of an apocalypse actually happened if humanity would do this to each other.
I can tell you really took your time finding the right figures in just gonna say idk how you can find that much zombie figures its crazy its like the alien one
I’ve been waiting you since I was like 8 years old I loved your videos and I wanted to become a UA-cam that does the things you do but then I saw soccer and I wanted to that even more you may not remember me but I’m that kid that said to partner up with some people like airquest4 and others to make an outstanding stop-motion you deserve more credit than 150k views you deserved millions people see this and say “ woah this is amazingly amazing” but don’t realize how long it takes thank you for this thank you, you made my childhood a million times better by giving me hope on what I wanna do in the future thank you thank you (btw I’m 13 now)
I know I commented about this a long time ago, but I absolutely love the part of the movie where Errol raids the raiders den. It’s such an amazing scene! I’ve shown it to my parents, and they love it too, to the point the quote “I’m gonna pump ya full of lead” has become a common catchphrase in our household. Also, now that I have a job, I’ve been EBay shopping a lot to see if I can piece together my favorite raiders to use in the board games I play with my dad. So far, I’ve gotten the colonist raider almost fully remade, and I’m close with the “Pump ya full of lead” guy, but I hope to recreate most of my favorites soon. Excellent animation, and I can’t wait to see more like these in the future!
Ever since I came to this channel it has never failed to amaze me. I love every video and moc you make in all of your videos I see a lot passion and dedication I know you will do great things later.
Wow, normally I won't watch The walking dead but you really put me in the spirit for it.When it ended I let out tears of joy! Thanks for making the videos.
This is a fantastic animation, I was happy to see more mega bloks, read the title and decides it was worth it, what I did not notice is the run time. How you had the patience to make a stop motion this long is amazing.
Thank you for making this, you are one of my biggest inspirations. I love your videos. You are one of the best animators on UA-cam. Your stories are amazing and they inspire me to be a better person. So again, thanks!
Great flick hermano! You actually go a Romero feel goin in this. Errol's sarcasm when he's gonna go get the pooch actually reminds me of dialogue from Lucio Fulci's The Beyond (it's one of those so bad it's AMAZING flicks - check it, you won't regret it). The film dust and scratches filter in post is PURE grindhouse! At 40:12, Teela's eyes though... Girl'z mangled! LOL.
Bro i know this is a really late comment but someone coming from watching the walking dead this was one of the best stop motions, it really make me feel like this was in the real world, i really liked the story, the characters, and the time you put into this, i just want to say this is a master piece, when i first saw this i my recommendations i was like " naw, this will be bad" but no, i ended up loving it good job.
@@AlexisGutierrezProductions sorry, once again, what I meant from late, is that the video came out a very long time ago, and I just now commented, like this response is late too 😅
Hello Alexis Gutierrez. Since yesterday, I've been watching your videos and I just wanted to say that I really like them and I really respect you. I've been watching Lego and Mega Bloks stop motion videos since I was a child and I know a good one when I see it. You've done some amazing work which I know takes a lot of time and dedication. I'm just proud of you. I also saw that you're in Japan right now and I wish you all the luck! Hope you're okay and can't wait to watch your next videos when you're back! For just a fan of Halo and Mega Bloks, you've done things that not even real movie producers would do. Your videos are so awesome man, really! If you ever need help, you can count on me and your other fans. We're here to support you, mate! I have never played Halo in my life, but I love it and I'm going to play the Master Chief Collection on PC. If you ever want to chat and play with me, just say so! I'd love to! Anyways, keep up the good work, man! I'll be waiting for new content! :D
Maintaining story arcs and moving them along over such a long period can be difficult but you do it so well. I'm no professional but can see all the story elements here : The character wants something, overcomes conflict to get it and changes as a result of it. You've either had training or you're a natural :-)
Awesome video truly. Great small details that were paid great attention to, it makes everything so much more in depth I love it. Keep up the great work guts you’re moving up quick man.
Hey it's me love the video it's great
56 MINUTES!?!??!?! OMG GREAT JOB! AMAZING!
56 minutes AND 43 seconds* :) lol

what made it good character development?

Errol's backstory, the way you directed the flashbacks was brilliant, and the way he changed his mind about the dog, because he couldn't let it die. And his whole motive for coming to California, just to pay a visit to his late mother.

Dude this was epic! You did a better job building atmosphere and tension than professionals in Hollywood, hope this gets the attention in deserves!
Alexis Gutierrez no problem, this just proves if you have the heart & passion anything is possible
Alexis Gutierrez thank you for your service & I’m sure you will find a way to still make awesome videos

Alexis Gutierrez > Hollywood
Hi
were did u get the m16s
a modern remake of this would be awesome and deserved with a few rewrites
Incredible work, congratulations! This is a feat of dedication. You're quite the director.
I have yet to see a zombie apocalypse story with so much focus on a vehicle. It almost seems obvious now, but it's a very unique part of the film.
Also, an hour long. An entire hour. That's incredible.
The Last Colony part 2 might still need some extras, and I was thinking about throwing in some cameos...
MootroidXProductions your animations are great to
I can't believe how long this is, that's so impressive!
I know haha
