These kids don't know me, but we are brothers and sisters. Freddy Martin yelled at me more than once, and I did my share of pushups. You guys put on a Hell of a show.
at first i didn't know what to think of the spandex uniforms but they definitely look better from the stands than close up. they actually look fantastic in a group but on just one person it looks silly. great show, spirit!
They sound pretty good but I wish they wouldn't have gone to the spandex Uniforms. I also can't get into the Jazz running all the hornlines do now. I just don't like the way it looks. I also get tired of the same gratuitous inividual hornline member moves I guess the judges want for some reason. All the high school bands and corps are doing it so I guess it's expected now. I just don't know why. Also microphone for Solos? Why?Othere than the things I don't like, good job.
Jeffrey Dancinger Jazz running has been in drum corps forever.... Like the 90'sto the early 2000's... Jazz running was the thing... Cadets'99 check it out if you haven't already.
Jazz Running has been around in the Color Guard for a long time not true for the Hornlines. Anyway, I don't see Spirit having much success in this "new era" of drum corps. I'm hoping instead of following trends that they come up with some new stuff on their own and bust out of the pack. They used to be one of my top five favorite Drum & Bugle Corps.
Jeffrey Dancinger True with the colorguard. But I've jazz corps that have been jazz running. Even in late 80s..Example- 1989 SCV. I get what you saying with spirit though. Their jazz running just looks weird. I kinda like the new spirit. They just need more to their show. I may be biased because I live in Atlanta.
Jazz running has been around since the 90s. Cadets used to do it all the time with their cool drill sequences. It's used to cover more ground that you would not be able to reach with a regular toe up step.
This show should have placed much higher
George Hopkins thanks man! Means a lot!
They finished 18th in DCI finals, WHY!!!!

3:15 thanks Alex
What is this show called? XD
Gavin Miller I'm not sure.
Gavin Miller "Crossroads: We Are Here"
Did...you...just..call...these...BANDS????
Keenan D what else would they be called?
Exploring With Suzanne don’t worry about him lol. But a lot of people in the DCI community get really butt hurt when you call us bands and not corps.
justin edwards Ohh, I never knew that. I apologize.
Exploring With Suzanne nah don’t apologize. I was just like that too a couple years ago and so were most people you’ll see who complain about it.
Technically it's a drum corps but it's really just band ;)

Micing is awful. Why not just pipe in band music and have people holdinfg holding horns? #AirCorps
