This is the best IEM shell ever made IMHO, it's lightweight, surprisingly tiny, but most importantly: well vented. There's a bass port by the cable, and it's hard to tell because of the resin finish, but there should be two vents opposite the driver with a bit of foam sheet glued in place over them. And most importantly, there's enough room for strain relief! Simply tie a knot in the cable with a teensy bit of slack and the driver will never get strain on its wires. I should also mention, the driver is wedged in place by the grill, which itself is glued to the outside of the shell. Whether that glue releases with heat or not will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer for obvious reasons. I've played around with changing out the driver on this shell a few times. The VE Monk Slim Metal and Asura use an identical shell. They are direct competitors... sort of. Venture Electronics would rather have a detailed, full range of sound, more like a full size headphone. Bright with good treble and a very fast driver. Your description of the NiceHCK sounds like a classic audiophile earbud: slightly warm and airy. Something like a PortaPro in your ear.
That artwork may appeal to those closet Gary Glitter fans out there..good grief. Seriously though, I've never got on with earbuds. A good seal, to me, is virtually impossible to achieve.
@@VortexReviews1 Oh by the way, I really do rate your reviews. If i'm on the cusp of buying something, then you say you like it..I usually pull the trigger. I don't suppose you've got the KZ AS16 Pro X for review have you ? There's nothing on youtube ATM
I get you. For me personally, especially with IEMs, I almost never use the eartips that come with the packaging for that very reason. Fairly recently I discovered the aftermarket KBear 07 eartips and they work great on most of my IEMs. So it might just need finding eartips that fit better than the standard ones. Just a thought. But you are right. If you can't get a proper seal, the sound is dramatically affected.
@philipm.4738 True. I must admit that I've n9w switched to silicone eartips for all my IEM's. I find that it's a lot easier to get a good seal, and to me the sound quality is greatly enhanced.

Thanks for your in-depth comment!
Thank you very much for the excellent review! How do the NiceHCK B80s compare with the TRN EMXs? Better?
Thanks for watching! EMXs sound a bit flat compared to these.
@@VortexReviews1, how about technicalities?
@@AlexAltorfer Techs are fine for the money.
@@VortexReviews1 , thanks! Happy New Year! 🍾🥂🎆🎇
@@AlexAltorfer Cheers and you to!
Hello Sir , how is this compared to the Yincrow X6 , worth the upgrade ?
To be honest it has been a long time since I listened to that one so I don't know if it would be an upgrade or not.
Is it better than the VE monk plus?
Never tried that.
@VortexReviews1 oh ok no problem. Nice review 😃
@@Helmond2017 Thanks.

Fair enough 👍

@TheBarryMandelaEffect Thanks for the trust! I don't have the KZ AS16 Pro X.
