Sweaty and I both pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of Sniper Elite Resistance and will be doing a live first-play on the 28th January, streaming exclusively on UA-cam for the first time! Hopefully it will be available for us to play by the time we start!

Understandable. Aside from the new content and what feels like some small AI tweaks, it’s very much the same as the last one. Not sure it’s worth full price yet, it was a bit disappointing to see a map get recycled within the first 4 missions. Might be a recommendation from me if it’s on sale. I need to play it all the way through first to make that determination.

Anybody else having trouble with the kill list target bugging out on mission 7?

Yes, actually! He got to the cup before I could poison it when I first tried it and it prevents you from interacting with it if he interacts with it first. You need to get the poison before he starts his "Where is my wine?" conversation that triggers his routine, and you should have a couple of minutes to sneak to the house and poison the cup.

@@mattcowen294 Me too in my playthrough (believe it or not). If you approach from the barn side, you can wait for the two guys to finish their conversation and leave, sneak in and he should only start his conversation then. The guys who leave the barn are looking away from the house, you just have to sneak past the jager patrolling outside and jump through the window near the cup. The target will go upstairs after his conversation for a minute or two before coming down for the wine. It should give you plenty of time to do it!

@@duckwit85 I did that pretty much exactly. I figured out that what I was doing was accidentally triggering his conversation whenever I looked in that direction with the binoculars. So I just had avoid glassing with binoculars so it wouldn't trigger. Now I just need my 50 headshots for the engraving on the BAR lol.

Mixed feelings. I was feeling pretty good until I saw that mission 4 was mission 1 again. I have been told it’s still really good, and the premise of that mission seems sound. I aim to get through the game by the weekend, and I’ll publish my opinion on it then, I think.

@@duckwit85 Well, mission 1 isn't even really a full mission, it only has 1 workbench, no invasions, and is rather short -- it's mostly just an interactive tutorial. Mission 4 you actually get to explore a lot more.
Really, though, it could've been a DLC to 5. Not that it's bad, but like, the whole thing could've been sold like Cyberpunk's "Phantom Liberty" expansion -- massive content infusion for ~$40 -- and it would've been _fine._ Why they decided to make it a whole separate product I've no idea, it's basically the same game with new maps, a handful of new weapons, and those propaganda mission challenges -- If anything I would *prefer* it were a DLC, that way I could queue for invasion and find myself in either Resistance maps or SE5 maps.

@canady82 This is a channel for having a bit of fun. We were open from the start that we didn’t know the maps, hadn’t watched anything beforehand and I very clearly dialed it up to highest difficulty on stream at the start. We never died to AI and won most of our battles against players. We had no idea where the enemies were, which most ‘perfect’ players have memorised. We had no assistance in seeing them because of the difficulty.
