Yet, because these guys make more money in one year, than most people who’ve gone to college for years will see in their lifetime; people get caught in this sort of witch hunt to persecute them. Shannon was spot on when he said that if your going to ban these guys from working, after being found guilty of domestic abuse; then it should be an equal and fair ban across the board. Athletes, politicians, doctors, lawyers, judges, all the way down to a janitor. If it’s a ban from working in that persons profession, it should be for every profession. I wholeheartedly agree with him. Others aren’t being held to the same persecution as people love to see professional athletes held to. To call for these guys persecution and not an equal and fair across the broader spectrum approach, it just makes people come off as a bunch of haters.

When I called the police the operator asked if I needed an ambulance and when I said know she stated they were not coming or tasking my report. I demanded an officer take my report and after 3 hrs a female officer came to my house and said she was not taking a report because the DA did not prosecute women for domestic violence against men but the officer was clear that if I hit the lady I would have been arrested and prosecuted. B Rad my question to you is, why do you think black children feel like they only have a few options in life. You go to any black neighborhood and ask kids what they want to be when they grow up, and maybe this has changed a bit due to social media making it possible to see almost anything on the internet, most children will say 1 of a handful things, an Athlete or a Rapper/music creator and unfortunately the truth sell. It’s because since the end of the civil war and slaves were supposed to be freed, state governments would develop laws and rules to start arresting black people by the thousands for vagrancy laws. Loitering? Not having a job? Looking at someone funny? Having weed? All somehow ending up being a public disturbance and arrest them. Black men being locked up leaves children in situations that have them stuck with mothers and grandmothers that have to work 2-3 jobs to keep afloat. Kids growing up without parents in their house hold get distracted and can get lost in influences because they don’t have people there for them. And with racism on top of that in our school systems and police makes resentment from the black Americans. Racism is live and well and to deny that is to be lying to not only yourself but your spitting in the faces of everyone ever effected. Everyone deserves the right to fair treatment and education and to not be harassed due to the skin tone.
