Great stuff, still plenty of places for a second video too! We generally start at Borough Market for breakfast, then grab some ciders there, then head on down, Kernel opens at 11 am so we start there, then down and back up to Maltby Street Market for lunch and then finish up and over Tower Bridge and up to Leadenhall Market and Spitalfields to round out the day.
@@matthamilton33 that’s a proper day out 🍻 might give that a try. Do like Borough Market. I have done a Return to Bermondsey starting at the other end by Small Beer if you’re interested, it’s on the London Beer Mile playlist (much more steps from that end mind!) cheers 🍻
It is a great strip of UK breweries and bars, a cracking day out Jim - especially if the sun is shining. There is a rival in North London called the Black Horse Mile and hoping to do that soon 🍻
Great video. What time of day were you out? We did the Mile on our most recent visit in August 2022 (our 4th trip to the Beer Mile) and it seemed quieter than usual mid-afternoon. We'd prefer a bit of crowds to keep things lively. Please let us know, thanks.
Cheers - we had a great time! Started at Southwark about midday and got down to Kernal about 6. Did seem to follow the same people all the way down so maybe got lucky. It was a really nice sunny day in September too. A couple of places were too busy to get in (Cloudwater, Anspach) will be trying it again this year ! 🍻
Great info. I'd not expected the breweries to be open beyond late afternoon, so I'm very glad to hear that late afternoon might be the best time to go. Thanks again. We'll be back in early April. (By the way, I love trying new beers, but that Coffee Sour sounded like a bad idea from the beginning...)
The Bay City Rollers!!! Their creepy manager lived at the end of my street when I was growing up. Great vid, great beers, great tap rooms 👍😀 I think I'd probably enjoy The Volcano 😋
I’m not sure you would Don, as sharp as raw horseradish 😂. I did finish it though! I’m glad you escaped unscathed, definite part of the party playlist for me despite that!
Cheers Dave, loads of small breweries under the train arches. Didn’t even make half of them, would definitely recommend it. The old Hop Exchange is at the top near Tower Bridge from the trade route with Kent. Should have stuck to thirds 😵💫😂
Mash Paddle looks like the place for me for sure 👍🍻 I love Kernel beers in bottle I need to get to the brewery tap for sure, great video Dan, cheers and love how it wasn't just the bigger known breweries you had on the video 👍🍻
Cheers Mr B, thought it was a great idea with all the kit available to use. Especially if you live in a flat etc locally. I meant to get to that hop combination flavour that the Kernel beers have but too many beers to get my words out 😂 Bianca Road the best beer of the day 🍻

Ok this is now on my bucket list! I'd even give the honey cider a go, and cider tends to be hit and miss for me, but the cloudiness of it has sold me!
There are loads of venues, couldn’t add any more as was losing the ability to speak properly 😂.
Always find cider a bit thin but we’ll worth a try 🍻
Well it looks like I've got to book a trip to London!

I should have known better 😂 - hope the suns shining and it’s a good one 🙏🏻

Well this looks a thing I need to do, great selection of breweries. Been impressed with Kernel. Looks like Dan the Man had a good time, cheers Pal👍

@@thehoppytraveller I find drinking thirds impossible Dan, it's just a mouthwash 😄
The mash paddle brewery really got my attention great update cheers 👍🍻
Thought it was a great idea sharing the brewing kit - beer was none too shabby either! Cheer Rik 🍻
