Hey Avan.
Your musical execution is, as always, by the way, Avan, excellent. Your Italian is just slightly accented in a funny, gracious, American-like way. You have just a bit of a problem with the 'R's' which you do not roll as Italians do. You, dear Avan, do pronounce them in a retroflex way, hence the American flavour you put in them. Nothing that a little practice will not eventually correct. And also you have that general difficulty common to people from northern Europe with simple short open latin and romance languages vowels and you tend to make them almost like diphthongs. However, in an overall appreciation, your Italian is very good, clear and easy to understand. Also, you have always good taste in your choice of songs. I wonder what you could do, for example, with "Adelita [Si Adelita se fuera con otro]", a Mexican folk song with a similar argument although referring to the times of the Mexican Revolution (1910-1919).
Hi Joaquim, as always thank you for listening and for your comments! I have to admit my Italian knowledge is very limited but I couldn't resist this song, it just wants to be sung! Interesting analysis on the R's I think they're very Flemish as they also sound slightly misplaced in my English singing. I'll have to look up this Mexican folk song! Thanks :)
❤❤. Veldig flott sang og musikk. Trekkspill er bare helt topp! ❤❤. Hans Brataas, Norge.
