When you're attacked, the number of cards your hands will increase by is decided. It is up to you whether that's the set you last played, or cards from the middle, but never both and never neither.
I got this game from a store called “Toys 2 Learn” close to where I live for free just because the people who work there didn’t understand it. They gave it to me and said: “Since nobody here understands how to play this, I’m gonna give it to you on the condition that you teach us how the next time you come back”. And to be honest, I still can’t understand it. Maybe because you speak too fast? Or maybe the explanation was all over the place? Naaaa. It’s probably just me.

I often have only one other person who willingly plays games with me, so thank you for noting that there is an official two player varient.
I've known the game for a few months, and it IS a big success. Almost everybody I know likes it.
