Stefan. I read a fascinating piece in one of the Sunday papers earlier this year looking at the power of youtube. The article maintained that youtube had more influence than radio as a source of 'new music'. I post the pieces I post not to infringe copyright but to circulate excellent music. Word of mouth is important. Hopefully like I do people hearing new stuff go out and buy the CDs. Discovering Chris as a vocalist through the first Imagined Village album I've bought all of his subsequent CDs and some of the earlier ones. The Internet is unbelievably powerful when it comes to finding music...hear something new and track it down online
Otherwise i might have never found it ! In fact, i did not know Chris Wood until recent after i had discovered, also just recently, Martin Simpson - even though i am listening to music intesively since 50 years ! Both versions have been my favorites for weeks and weeks, and i am still listening and listening ...
Moves me to tears everytime. Such a powerful song.
