Hey Z. Thanks for the review. If put on the desk only, and quality of the sound is the only deciding factor (ignore all features), which one would you choose? Os-10 or the SP3?
now fiio must make a bigger 6.5 inch 2 way monitors... with digital inputs internal dacs, power, remote control etc.. to compete with Edifier. imagine this with a 8" sub and digital inputs.. would be the edifier S 350db.
What are the BEST 2.0 channel speakers for under $200: treble, mids, and bass combined.. for music AND gaming? I just bought some arena 3’s for my desk PC and they are pretty horrible for music, but good for gaming regardless of how much I tweak multiple eq’s.. I use klipsch monitors w/ high dollar Yamaha receiver in my living room with klipsch sub, use a jbl bar 500 in another room, and have an Audi A6 prestige with 2 10’s in it with the max bang and o system. The audi sounds bonkers good and has clarity that makes ears bleed it gets so loud. Always had crazy car audio, and had several Bose systems back to the old school lifestyle systems. I just need some incredible 2.0 speakers for my desk PC that are good for music and gaming.. love your vids, keep them coming.
Im torn between these and iloud micro as i can get them for the same amount of money. Wich one should i get? Im leaning more towards the Iloud at the moment as ive heard a few samples online that sounds impressive. At the same time im looking at fiio sp3 + k11 amp.
Surprised this wasn't demoed or shown with fiios new r7 dac/streamer..do about everything place of kit. I think these speakers were made for the r7. Surprised the micca rb42 were not brought up in this video.

Every time I think I will replace them, I can't seem to justify it--though I cannot say that the Edifer sound has ever really moved me much. If the Swan OS-10's were in stock, I'd take a chance on those. Anyone feel like these are an actual upgrade from the Edifers that I currently have?
Zeos: Do these seem to have any sort of loudness compensation as you turn the volume down like Sonos speakers? Do they keep the bass levels a bit higher so it is still audible when listening at low levels?
My Audioengine A2+ had been crapping out and finally died last month. They were meh. Would you recommend these (SP3) or the Swan OS10? I would have them connected to a DAC through RCA
I am specifically curious about the Denon 3800. It's got all the features I'm looking for: Auro 3d; preouts (I split my centre channel a la Zeos); and the ability to shut off the amps in channel pairs. Very flexible It comes on sale refurbed or open box quite often. The only problem is that Amir at ASR held back his approval due to inferior dac measurements. Wondering if the difference is audible.
So these are the choice if going for the absolute smallest possible speaker that still sounds good? Aren't the Micca Covo S smaller? Though I guess they're old as shiiiiit
