The footage at the end was from The Two Ronnies Sketchbook in 2005, when they recapped some of their best classic sketches. Ronnie Barker died soon after, and Ronnie Corbett died in 2016.
I think your laugh is very infectious. I watch this all the way through. Not for the Two Ronnies as well as I have seen this sketch so many times. I just love to hear you laugh. In the nicest way possible. You have a nice smile too match...thank you !!
This was my Saturday night entertainment growing up in the 1979’s. Every sketch they did was funny. Ronnie Barker was a great wordsmith and loved the nuances and discrepancies of the English language, hence this sketch. The Society for the Mispronunciation of Words is also funny. The Two Ronnie were much loved and their humour is still missed. It was good family entertainment. I love your infectious laughter too.
It's in the Uk showed on a Saturday night. The show was called The Two Ronnie's, starring Ronnie Corbett, the little one and Ronnie Barker the taller one.
I grew up watching the two Ronnies in the 70's and 80's here in England. Loved your reaction you should react to their Mastermind sketch it is funneeee 😘
Thanks, I enjoyed watching you discover our Two Ronnies🤗. Their Mastermind quiz show sketch is funny too...although they are very British and quite old fashioned.....you may enjoy them 👍🥰. Also “Morcambe and Wise” are another British comedy duo that you should like....try their Breakfast Sketch.
I don't like Morecambe and Wise. Eric apparently didn't like a lot of the guests and had disagreements with a lot when they were off stage. Plus I don't think they're that funny. Now Catherine Tate is one to watch. She can be rude, but is great. Especially her Nan Taylor & Lauren Cooper sketches.
These guys were some of the greatest artists, together with Sir David Jason. ( only fools and horses. )We need more of this along with the series of the adorable ladies and golden girls. We need some laughter and funny people. Thx for bringing this on.
Ronnie Barker is great in this of course... but how fantastic is Ronnie Corbett. Muttering, wiping the worktop and those amazing expressions. First class acting
3rd visit. Hi Xavia, this sketch and The Two Ronnies are national treasures in UK. I am enjoying the sunshine and laughter you have brought to my days, thank you. ♥️
This young lady has a very infectious laugh (even though she does not know half of what Ronnie said). She is there for the laughs, not to disect every word that they say Such a change from some people who have watched this video and found fault with almost everything that Ronnie Barker said....List up. This is a COMEDY video, and both of these artists have a better grasp of English than most of the people who watch this (And then go on to make fatuous comments). Well done to this young lady for getting into the spirit of the comedy skit.
The script for this sketch turned up on BBC TVs Antiques Roadshow. ua-cam.com/video/bRE7QymG0asR/v-deo.htmlonnie (Sketch referenced from 2m.45s. Ronnie Barker also appeared in a number of "sit coms" (short for situation comedy) In Porridge he plays and older career criminal serving his prison sentence (at the time referred to as doing porridge), and sharing a cell with a young first timer. Link is to the last scene in the last episode, after his cell mate has been released. In Open All Hours, he played a tight fisted shopkeeper with a severe stutter. I could only find a link to compilation of stutter gags, ua-cam.com/video/gteslIBOjq0/v-deo.html (and full half hour episodes). David Jason, (young Granville, and who has had an impressive career of his own) has now taken over the shop in Still Open All Hours.
The two Ronnies are absolutely brilliant this sketch is the most popular people are always talking about Fork Handles great reaction Love 💕 from Denise in Yorkshire England 🏴❤️👍🤣😂👏👏👏🥰👋
The Ronnie playing the customer is using the Yorkshire accent they tend to shorten certain words or phrases for example where most british people would say "I'm going to the pub" a Yorkshireman would say I'm going T'Pub". So to most people it does sound like Four Candles because while he actually said Fork Handles he shortend and joined the 2 words together so the r has a pronouced K which sounds like a C and he drops the H altogether.
He has called his house " Mon Repose " he needs the letters to fix onto a sign for the gate . He has all the other letters except the two letter Os and a letter P
Many people over here in UK drop their aitches.....house becomes 'ouse, hello is 'ello, et cetera. Some of our regional accents do the same. There's a comedian named Jasper Carrot. I recommend the cartoon version of his "Mole" story. Hilarious.
hello i just came across your videos and they are so funny, your laugh is amazing. i am from the uk. you should try a show called bottom. not sure if you will like it but its one of my favourite comedy series, there is a lot of physical humour comedy in it and i love that, there was 3 seasons of it on tv, and they also had 5 live shows. the 3rd one called hooligans island is amazing.
Sorry I've not seen your reviews of comedy before. I know you have seen the English humour but you should check out Ricky Fulton if you want an idea of Scottish humour. He does several roles but hogmany shows, as Rev Iam Jolly the traffic cop. He also had a partnership called Francie and Josie. If you can't laugh at ourselves 🤔🤐
The footage at the end was from The Two Ronnies Sketchbook in 2005, when they recapped some of their best classic sketches. Ronnie Barker died soon after, and Ronnie Corbett died in 2016.
Consistently regarded as one of THE best comedy sketches ever written

@@jules.8443 Well we never know if that was actually true as the poor man Eric morecambe is no longer around.

A stark demonstration that actually understanding is not a prerequisite to be entertained.
"No O's. O's for the gate".
There's a two ronnies sketch called news at ton. It is the funniest thing ever.

I’m telling you I’m having funny.
Great Work My Friend 🌹🌹🌹
Awesome & wonderful 💕💕
Excellent Content ❤️❤️
From memory Ronnie Corbett placed four candles on Ronnie’s casket at the funeral of his long time friend.
He isn't using a Yorkshire accent , it is South London / Essex. They don't pronounce an H at the start of the word and pronounce "Th" as "F".
You are making my day, your laughter is killing my stomach, hahaha! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Can you watch peter cook and Dudley Moore pub sketch please?
Aww I’m glad I did. Sure will do Sam 🥰🥰
He said, O's, letter O's for a gate. As in the number of a house.
Total comedy gold
It's an old English comedy from the 70s the two Ronnie's .English make the best comedy
You are so funny love your reaction
😅😅🤣🤣🤣😅🤣😅😅😅🤣a candle mi here to
Great Reaction ! After you stopped the comedy clip it carried on and they said their final ever goodbyes after 35 years performing together:)
Love your laugh
He has called his house " Mon Repose " he needs the letters to fix onto a sign for the gate . He has all the other letters except the two letter Os and a letter P
Except he didn't need any letter P's. He was hungry instead. :) Classic
@@PaulAJacksonMusic Haha , you're right .

@@mlee6050 always possible. But even Ronnie barker described the ending as too course. Not sure he’d have said that for pillock. But perhaps.
