Nice job guy, the new army looks nice, well nicely gross considering its the children of father Nurgle. Wild idea, why not pick out some of the more interesting models of your new army and do a quick showcase video. It'd be a quick easy video to do and it'd give you a much needed break.
Nicely done! I just started with Warhammer building&painting. My background/hobby is in disigning & making lifesize armors and costumes SF linked. In time I developed my own style, and most of the semi pro costume designers are inspired by my style. White Vader is the most known costume I made. And I found the insperation in a comic in which Darth Vader survived and became a Jedi… but he needed his armor. In Warhammer I also use my own style. This means that I change the basic and I use mixmaster to make new miniatures.

About 3 months ago a video from Scott came up on my recommenced I ended up watching it and it led to about a week of watching beginner painting tutorials and I bought my first models and I think it’s started a life long hobby I’m absolutely in love with it and literally from other then working the only thing I’ve really thought about since then is warhammer 🥳
I just want to give a quick shout out to the fact that y'all are all really wholesome and fun to watch. I appreciate that y'all are working together to build each other up. That's one of the best parts of the hobby!
At this point (also been doing it for a bit more than two years) I'm convinced that that's the correct & healthy way for a human being to eat. It's also kind of obvious, we didn't really eat much grain before we went from nomads to permanent settlers and that was fairly recent. Pretty sure our bodies aren't good at dealing with these carb-bombs... even though they come in handy when you have a tough life and work in the field all day. But us people of today, we usually don't and just get... fat and unhealthy. The best thing is not feeling hungry, though. The carb-eaters around me get that insane look in their eyes when they're hungry and are hurting with hunger... I still remember what that's like and I say: never again!
@@barbarusbloodshed6347 just be careful as keto can lead to gallstones. I did the diet and had to have my gallbladder out recently. I do have a family history of gallstones though, so that could have been a contributing factor.
If i had any health issues i'd ask a doctor before going on any keto diet. Keto diet can lead to more than gallstones. For diabetics it can lead to health complications and even death. Even for healthy persons a long keto diet combined with a night of heavy drinking (and no carbs) can lead to blood poisoning in the worst case scenario. Think it through before you go on a keto diet it's not for everyone.
@@barbarusbloodshed6347 Oh no quite the contrary. To achieve ketosis where the body burns muscle mass and fat for energy instead of carbohydrates a normal person has to cut out the carbohydrates (this also lowers insulin production). Well if a diabetic followed a keto diet (i'm ignoring the fact that a diabetic can achieve ketosis just by not administering enough insulin) it would mean he/she would have to cut down the insulin dosages to adapt to the reduced carb intake. Because a diabetic does not have his own insulin production any lapses or errors might prove dangerous as low insulin levels would lead to too many keto bodies in the blood which causes ketoacidosis (blood poisoning) which can be fatal. And well... if the goal is to build or retain muscle mass while dieting then of course keto is also not a good choice as it also burns muscle in addition to fat (+ lowers insulin production which is a growth hormone and a bottleneck for how much protein your body can splice)

Hey midwinter I just recently found your channel around when you did your 220 Ork video, and you actually inspired me to finally decide to go and buy and paint my own models. And since it will be my first model paint (yes, it will be Orks, possibly Killa Kanz or going the extra mile with Ghazghkull Thraka) and I actually have the question of what would be the best paint for a beginner to use for models?
Have you watched Guy's series of videos about painting up the Blackstone Fortress game? It is full of loads of great advice and is especially good about assembling your paints and how to use them ua-cam.com/video/vGwsTi01bpI/v-deo.html
Congrats on the 100k, loving all the videos from this little mini series. Its given me a plus to get things done quicker while I still have the time to
When I saw the Bringers of Decay, my face lit up so fast. I've made a 20 man army following your tutorial (with a few modifications) and I've been procrastinating finishing the paint job, but after seeing this video, I think I'll be pulling an all nighter very soon :)
Easily my favourite mini painting channel by far. Literally love how much info you give in the videos and for starting painters like myself is so awesome. Cheers mucker and keep up the awesome work 🤘🤘🤘
I'm struggling to contain my amazement. I tried to tag along on the 1 week challenge and you outshone us all. And then you follow up on it with a second army but in a night? There's no words, its truely awesome
I've just been lucky to pick up a lot of 120 mystery models for only £10, and you've really inspired me to tackle projects with less worry and precision and more action! I'm hoping I can turn the models into a Plague Black Legion army like your tutorial if they're any kind of marine, and have a real fun time painting grime and drybrushed metals. We'll done on your marathon!
I used your color scheme to paint up all the Deathguard stuff from Conquest series and really loved it. Treated myself last month and took the remaining 33 Minis (20 Poxwalkers, 10 Marines, 2 Crawlers and a Dreadnought) and planned to paint during vacation every evening 2-3 hours.... Ended up spending around 50 hours for these Minis. But after all i'm totally done, having now over 2000 points of Deathguard in a really appealing rotten way :D So a big thank you and damn kudos to your speed and endurance. This is pure insanity :D Only problem... starting peaking on ebay steals to expanse my DG-collection..... noooooohoooooooooooooooo -.-
It's really inspiring to see you committing to make a dent in your pile of shame and then actually following through with it. I'm always anxious about getting lost in my own unpainted models, and so many people like to just wave it off as "just a part of the hobby"
This is so exciting for me! I’ve based a 1000 points Death Guard army off of your Bringers of Decay army and am looking to buy the start collecting CSMs box beef it up. So badass seeing the master doing more of the scheme I’ve been copying so long.

Its given me a plus to get things done quicker while I still have the time to
i did this with my freinds it was rough
Your my favourite model channel you have great color schems , and a wonderful painting hand
You have a face?
I thought you were just two hands and a voice coming from the wind
Great job and OMG YOU FINALLY REACHED 100K!!! I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU AMAZING JOB!!!!!!!
I love Nessa! (I think that's how you spell it?)
I'm sure she'll remember you! Your dad is HER FAVOURITE PERSON.
@@MidwinterMinis I hope she'll remember me! And I pretty sure all dogs love my dad.
Congratulations on hitting 100,000 subscribers, and on the sustained weight loss. The army is looking great; and the bases really add some visual pop.
You must be sick of painting by now. For the next video literally just clean your palettes.
That’s a huge accomplishment. Congratulations and thank you for the inspiration.
Guy: "10 hours of orcs every day for 7 days.. looking forward to getting back to normal"
Brent: "um yea.. About that..."
😂😂😂😂😂
When I saw the Bringers of Decay, my face lit up so fast. I've made a 20 man army following your tutorial (with a few modifications) and I've been procrastinating finishing the paint job, but after seeing this video, I think I'll be pulling an all nighter very soon :)
Wooo! 100,000 Subs! Congrats, guy! :)
And most importantly the models look great. Congratulations Guy! 100k!! Wooooo! Let's see 200k!!!
Well done. I especially liked the bluish metallic on the those vehicles. Thanks for sharing.
But after all i'm totally done, having now over 2000 points of Deathguard in a really appealing rotten way :D
So a big thank you and damn kudos to your speed and endurance. This is pure insanity :D
Only problem... starting peaking on ebay steals to expanse my DG-collection..... noooooohoooooooooooooooo -.-
It's really inspiring to see you committing to make a dent in your pile of shame and then actually following through with it. I'm always anxious about getting lost in my own unpainted models, and so many people like to just wave it off as "just a part of the hobby"
A new terrain video! its what I originally found you with and I loved the 5 quick & easy terrain projects video.
you and scott are the ones who inspired me to start doing warhammer and i just want to say thank you
This is so exciting for me! I’ve based a 1000 points Death Guard army off of your Bringers of Decay army and am looking to buy the start collecting CSMs box beef it up. So badass seeing the master doing more of the scheme I’ve been copying so long.
Holy snap guy! Gratz on your loss, great job. Literally paused the video, couldn't wait, that's impressive sir!
Impressive! The bases make a huge difference, good choice!
Y’all are so good at painting. Loved watching all of your videos, binged em all in one good go!
