First time I am using this ruler and so looking forward to it. Thank you for this ruler. Now I need to the hexagon one that I haven’t been able to find❤
I just purchased this item and was pleased how fast and accurate i was able to cut my material, I pushed to hard at first. it does not take much pressure. I really like it since i really suck at cutting!!!
Oh wow. Just found this in my sewing items. Glad you have an instruction video. I have the template too. Now I can use this!
I tried to contact Co first but it did not like my email. Too bad now I won't have to worry about you emailing me. Or mailing stuff.
THANK YOU FOR SHOWING HOW TO CHANGE THE BLADE!
This inventions dive me crazy, I love them, I need them, I want them!!!
So cool. Can it be used on paper and cardstock? TFS.
great, can you purchase these now?

Thanks a Lot for giving this demo.. Where can I purchase the round handy cutting tool?
Kindly Reply.Thanks
makes me wish i had a reason to cut circles in fabric :)
Se puede obtener el mini cortador por separado de la plantilla, pués la plantilla ya la tengo.
I got mine at joann fabrics, it was on sale. walmart has it for about 17 bucks
Walmart cost is $29.00
I have one of these. I can't get the circles to come out the same size every time. It also says, it has a built in 1/4" seam allowance. I get 4 1/2", not 4 1/4"
That's because for each half of the circle you get 1/4". 2 halves are 2 x 1/4"= 1/2". Now you fold 1/4" allowence all around your circle and measure the diameter and you'll have the 4" you were looking for! Cool, right?
I need this! Where can I find this?
Looking for one like that to make a 20-24 inch circle
Victoria Rainey-Hires - me too
have you found one yet?
To Marla, I would assume that the 1/4" seam allowance is on both sides which would add to 1/2" total.
where at walmrt can you get them in what section of the store never seenthem at our walmart how much are they can you use on paper too do you think also joanns will have them in thestore please let me know been trying to cut circles out and not working as need to make for nieces wedding please email me thanks
I don't personally email folks for shopping. I have no idea where you live or where things are carried. However, internet shopping is a great solution and here's a handy affiliate link to purchase on Amazon.com: amzn.to/2tBK51K
Got mine 3 weeks ago at the Green Acres Walmart New York at the Sewing and Crafts section with the self healing mat.Hope this is useful.
it's posible use this with paper?
I have this type of ruler, but I am unable to find this Fiskars circle cutter anywhere, not even the Fiskars website has them. The only thing that I could find on Fiskars, Amazon, or Ebay are the drop in replacement blades. What gives????????????
They come as a set. The cutter was made to specifically work with the template - they literally fit together in order to work properly - so they are only sold together.
@@Mel-pb5xw No they aren't. Our stores sell them separately.
does it cut paper?
Yes. But you should use it for one or the other. Like scissors, cutting paper will dull the blade much faster than scissors.
Sounds like Mark Duplass.
Where can I find this?
Michaels
I line this up perfectly each time and EVERY time I get a different size.... The seam allowance is always different...its annoying
Remember, it's 1/4" allowence on each half! So, 1/4" on the side facing up + 1/4" on the underside side = 1/2" added to your desired diameter.
But fold 1/4" allowence all the way around and you'll have the diameter you were cutting. If you get something other, it's operator error!
Having a hard time getting to plastic cover off the blade 😒
Damn it ! I should of bought this instead of the circle cutter !! The cutter is so darn hard to slide the parts you need to slide ! It's ridiculous. Also icant figure out the measments ! They don't match up to any of my rulers ! WTHell
Disappointing to use.
N H if you’ve just folded the fabric for cutting there won’t be a set crease in most cases, & on the RARE occasion there is, simply iron!🤷🏻♀️
What about if you need a 1" circle cut in fabric?
