- Continuation of the First Video where I did the black and white stripes. In this video, I add the yellow stripes and do a mock up of what she's gonna look like.
Part 3 coming up where I finish everything and do a sound check. I will be Mounting the floyd rose, wiring, mounting the pickups, prepping and aligning the neck, stringing it up and doing a set up.

Dern! KILLER guitar!! Man I am living that thing. Can't wait to see how it turns out in Part 3. And glad I found your channel. Subbed. Anything Van Halen is Ace!! Hope for more VH... but whatever else you do. Looking forward to seeing more cool guitar stuff! Man that thing is sweeeet! I've been thinking about doing a nice medium blue Frankie - kinda like Wolfgang's Bass Guitar. Might have to do a yellow one too!! Love that!
Awesome thanks!! 🤘🤘🤘
Will it get a 1971 quarter?
Absolutely!!!! I have 3 left. I believe they all came from you.
I’ve got the female version of your outfit. I love this. ❤
That's cool!!
Does Barry Manilow know you raid his wardrobe?
Yes, he borrows my college football gym shorts... They are slightly too big for him ...
what does a project like this cost? Specifically, how much for the paint job?
In materials, around $50 for the paint, $15 for sandpaper and masking tape. I'm charging a total of $750 and he supplied most of the parts. I'm putting in about $100 in extra parts and doing all the labor.
Total is going to be just over $1000 he has spent.
THANKS
Ok cool. Thanks for the info. I’d like to do something similar one day soon.
@@mountain7777 labor yourself you can save a ton of money. You'd probably be into it for $350 or so
I’ve got all the parts except the bridge…a builder flaked on me. I may attempt the paint but first maybe on a cheap body.
Have you ever used nitro paint?
@@mountain7777 I personally don't like nitro lacquers. It constantly shrinks as it ages along with it being softer than poly. Some people swear by it though. To fully cure it takes six months compared to 2 weeks.
