Dude, you should have gone another 100 miles East, south holston and Watuaga tailwaters are 2 great rivers. I’m sure you’ve heard of them, 30”+ Browns are caught every season.
Just took a friend out fly fishing for his first time. We chased some landlockeds for a little bit. Didn't catch anything, but he had fun and almost caught a rock bass
I had a HUGE smile on my face when you described that carp hookup. Had the same thing happen to me last year when a big azz carp chased down my Hex nymph. Awesome fish, they are better than trout IMHO...
So funny, I only just recently caught my first carp on a fly and in that day I landed 3 on a little white bugger. I didn’t know they liked streamers so much!
I caught a 7 lb Buffalo there swinging a streamer through chocolate milk water, even when you’re not catching monsters trout or decent smallie it’s still really sweet 😁
You have caught more fish in Tennessee than I have now. I don’t know about East Tennessee, but the cicadas are still not here in Middle Tennessee. I’m looking forward to next week to maybe pick up a few things to help me here.
That is one very mellow dog.
Huge Fly fisherman in flylords..... Oh no.... What will the circlejerk think about this....
I saw a Caddis fly here in Iowa. I'd never seen one before
12:48 best part of the whole video. Besides the fishing and familiar vernacular. Another great expedition
SmallMouth buffalo! Nice video bro! Come to Chattanooga!

Dude, the whole point was to not fish for trout.
Awesome advertisement for Three Rivers, I'll definitely use their guide service now and I live here🙂

You wrote for flylords eh? I mean your videos have been video of the week but I guess this is your second article for them. Cool
What size rod are you thowin in this vid?
Black line. Is that sink tip?
Also - Ben made Kyle miss the smalljaw swap. And it looks like it was totally worth it
Skip jack makes great catfish bait
Looks like a bigmouth Buffalo. I’ve only ever caught smallmouth and there mouth is under the face
Come fish the smallmouth on the umpqua! It's killer! Lived in Knoxville for 6 years and the bass fishing on the umpqua is much better. Hmu 🤙
The Currier reference .
Dang! Why don’t my fly rod casts get that kind of range?!
Did you tie that fly behind you? BTW, love the intro music(s)
A friend tied that one.
Hey Kyle!
Damn. You were right by my house.🤷♂️
I was waiting for you to toss me a beer.
Brownlow was such a cutie. Love you too Ben
I don't know if referring to an entire river counts as 'hotspotting'. Maybe it is... it's only 652 miles long.
Tell that to the guys giving me shit about the Yellowstone.
You using weighted line?
Did you watch the video? I talked about it twice.
Interested in the boat. Who do I contact for info on it?
Call 3 Rivers Angler and ask for Allen.
