The adjustment of the bridge is the distance from the nut to the 12th fret and The same distance from the 12th fret up the banjo head ... then minor adjusting ...
Susan, the banjolele is (normally) tuned precisely the same as a 'conventional' i.e. timber ukulele thus you can play the same number of chords as a uke with the same fingering. A banjolele will generally be a little heavier than a timber uke.
How lovely to hear Mike's voice. Rest In Peace, kind sir.
😊👍, Mike’s gone but it’s so cool that I’m still learning from him 🤩👏👏👏‼️
Mike, thank you for all the videos you have put out over the years. They have really helped me progress on the uke.
Eric Roark I have to agree. Sometimes the videos include a tip jar for a buck or two.

The atmospheric pressure does not affect it because it applies to the skin from both sides so equalises.
I don’t really have the ear I guess. But seems like the banjolele doesn’t have the clipped tinny sound I love so much from a banjo. Am I wrong?
Have a listen of a Ludwig, Gibson or Abbott uke-banjo. They are superb.
