It’s pretty easy to replace the batteries in the flashlight you just unscrew the the black lid

I've had one of the first gen. for a few years now. I love it. It's my go to light. It weighs very little, very great on batteries, and nearly indestructible. I have dropped it over and over, once even from a roof at about twenty feet. Mine doesn't have the magnet, seems it would be nice to have that model, but I love it just the same. It was given to me by the company I used worked for.

I have the old light. I’m going to glue some high strength magnets that I have to the sides, and cutout at the bottom.
