I ordered both, the Baton Turbo arrived yesterday, and is insane. I love the ergonomics, spill, throw, etc. My first Olight was the S1R Baton, which I still have. It has the original battery, and is 10 years old . I’m in love with the Baton Turbo😍🥰😍
Thanks for the quality content and video!!!

I too have both. I was very surprised to see how little difference there is at long distance.

For sure. There is a difference but is it enough for the specific thing you are trying to do?

    Still not available in Europe...
I have the Javelot Mini and i love it. Ill buy the BatonTurbo as soon as it will be available.
I also own 2 small throwersa, LumintopGT Nano and GTA. GTA has a very good throw but a very narrow beam, i dont like it.
My best thrower is Acebeam K75...

The Olight Baton Turbo is 1000 Lumens with a throw of 510 meters, 65,000 Candela.
For half the price you can get a Wurkkos TS23 with 5000 Lumens, a throw of 482 meters and a Candela of 58,000, it also features a glass breaker on the tip.

The wurkkos turbo mode ramps down after 30 sec's to 2400 ish! This was tested by 1lumen reviews. That's awful and it never hit the advertised 5000 lumen either, it's an ok light but it's cheap for a reason. You're also comparing a 21700 cell flashlight to an 18350 ? Not even in the same league. The wurkkos should crush it, and it doesn't, you get what you pay for, fit and finish isn't that good, warranty is laughable and has one led that can't display all the status of the light. The Baton is a little beast for such a small light, and it's pocketable that you can edc with. Any 21700 cell flashlight is already pushing the too big for edc status. The Baton isn't even expensive, but the fit and finish is top notch. I picked up my Baton for $47 with free laser engraving and shipping. That's pretty cheap to me.

@@jascospeed Despite all that, the Baton will be sitting with a dead battery when the Wurkkos TS23 is still shining from a single charge. Practicality is more important to me than the color of the finish or how many blinking lights it features on the shell. The Lumen ramp down isn't a limitation when you require battery life as a priority in a flashlight. When taking that into consideration, the Olight does seem a little overpriced to me for such a temporary shine "out in the field". It looks nice, though I may purchase one when they discount the cost.
Just for clarity, the Olight Warrior X Pro delivers 2100 lumens in turbo mode but steps down after about 2 minutes due to heat and battery protection.
Fenix PD36R: In turbo mode, it outputs 1600 lumens but will step down after around 45 seconds to avoid overheating, reducing brightness significantly.
Nitecore P20i: Another tactical flashlight that emits 1800 lumens in turbo mode but rapidly steps down after about 30 to 60 seconds, designed for heat management and preserving battery longevity.
Acebeam L35: With a 5000-lumen turbo, this flashlight can only sustain the brightness for about 1 minute before stepping down to avoid heat buildup.
The rapid step-down is primarily designed to manage heat and protect the components of the flashlight.
