it is an informal show ... the idea is for pro singers getting together and singing liberated from professional restraint ... getting back to why they started singing in the first place.
The song is in low saxon, a dialect of German/Dutch that is spoken in the east of the Netherlands (and west of Germany). The song is about a guy who likes to drive extremely fast in traffic, especially when the police are chasing him. "An de kant" translates to (Get) out of my way!
Low saxon is its own language. Not Dutch nor German though it has similarities. Other than that you are correct ^^
