That's a big pyramid. The theme reminds me of a Super Mario Bros. 3 hack, "3Mix", where the ghost-themed World 3 featured "something's off" remixes of existing SMB3 music. (And later, one of those levels has a comet in it, leading to a "something's not right" remix of SMG1's red comet theme.)
the music is from B3313, which perfectly encapsulates that "somethings off" feeling. its great for remakes of levels that arent completely identical to their original game version
“Who dares touch this star?” “oh its you again we are made how you treated us last time. you want this star well come and get it!!” I think you should make a boss fight like that
I think i jinxed it when I said that i hope nothing bad happened to this level. Anyway, this is a very neat take on the SSL pyramid. Excited to see the rest of the level.
advice: the corners look a bit deceptive with the SM64 pyramid texture. maybe add a black line to the edges like in 1:10, at the right side, it's just a little bit too hard to see. i love galaxy, because it doesn't create much artificial difficulty. this mod should too
@@theopoldthegamer4284 this is typically the type of scaling for modded levels in Galaxy hacks. Even recreations of levels in other games are usually large. It's mostly because it's a game that takes place in space, which leads to large areas because space is massive. Besides, the pyramid should've been smaller in SM64 (it's so small that it's hardly even challenging to climb, it's hard to believe Nintendo playtested the area. And the 100 coin star can get stuck in the damn ceiling if you jump too high to collect your last coin).
the fact that you included a remake of SSL's pyramid in this mod is another level of batshit insane

Will there be a slide level with uncanny moat’s theme?
That course would make me rage 24/7 lol

I'm hearing weird stuff in my left ear…
the storm is coming the storm is coming the storm is coming
this is a really cool level allegorically speaking
Now if only we could've had the boss fight
1:18
Is it even a real level if it doesn't include Mickey's Dick Smasher?
Wheres the medal
It feels like Silent Hill
Not bad
The music, tho... sounds disturbing, like sm64 B3313 disturbing
was aiming for that
it is from b3313

Why is the melody inverted 😂
Why are there 2 black holes in this stage? Is it because originally in Super Mario 64 if you step on those platforms you die?
no its just solely to make the level mildly harder
@@icofriendly Oh dang! 🤣

@@icofriendlyI wish it would be possible to do something with those roller guys, I think they’re in Slipsand as well

The room is scaled WAY too big, I personally am not a fan
🤷♂️
@@icofriendly It is impressive, I'll admit that, but the scaling is too much for me
