I would add that Deccan Queen used to take less than 3 hours during British era (2.45 hr to be precise), Jehulm exp used to be faster with less halts 25 yrs ago. Geetanjali has become slower with more halts. What is the point of railway doubling, improving technology if trains are going to get more slow. Trains are getting faster in Europe, China but slower in India...

@@mohangohar7340 Thank you for the reply Mohanji. I agree with you, Western Railway is far better. CR is not just slow but it is corrupt & within CR, Solapur and Pune divisions are worst/corrupt. Nagpur, Mumbai, Bhusawal divisions are far better.

I do not see much progress on this route compared to your last video (apart from Padhe-Rahuri). Modiji's party led govt had done a lot for doubling. After elections when the corrupt parties come to power work may stop completely. Too much populations is the main problem in India for everything. Poluplation leads to corruption. I think the order of completion may be as follows: Nimblak-Nagar, then Nagar-Akolner, Daund-Kashti (the big Bhima bridge) and doubling of Daund chord line, Ranjangaon road and last Rahuri-Vambori (if atall this can be completed because if people do not give their land then this shall never be completed).
There are many reasons for land issues, Money as well as at some points there are chances of water logging after doubling, Need to be solved, in video you can see cement pipes

I read on internet that new deadline for this route now is March 25. They do things slowly and keep extending the deadlines. Terrible!!
