As fans we should appreciate our champions/former champions because we can only imagine the feeling of being in that cage let alone becoming champ status. As fans we always win but these athletes put their life on the line and leaving their pride and dignity in that cage and there can only be one winner at the end of the day so its a tough sport. Shout out to Usman, losing is one tough thing to deal with in general and he handled it like a pro and congrats to Leon incredible cardio!
Usman had a good long run considering how worn out his knees are. Hopefully he takes it easy and goes for money in the bank.

Your comment is a good one except for the “we”. Who are u talking about.? Who’s we.? Some of us have been in the cage, I have, not at that high a level to be fair tho. Its not being in the cage thats scary its signing a disclaimer, the cage walk and the 5-10 minutes in the dressing room waiting to do the walk, when I heard the “5 minutes” shout I wanted to run for hills 🤣🤣 almost shat myself, this was my 1st fight and for the 30mins building up to the fight I felt like I was going to piss myself and when I went into the toilet nothing came out. Its a bizarre feeling, i wanted to pull out of the fight the whole time but I just couldn’t, its like my brain and body were on different wavelengths and wanted different things. I didn’t get paid either, at least these guys get paid. I fought for free in a school hall with about 100 people watching. My takeaway from the initial experience is the smell of the cage, it stinks of sweat and blood, its like your in a room with no windows open, and the noise of the cage door locking, thats scary as fuck. Then the fight starts and all these feelings leave you and its a different level of adrenaline, strikes didn’t hurt and I was fully on autopilot, no idea what was going on. I threw a head-kick that he blocked and I don’t even remember this, my mate who recored it on a camcorder showed me the fight afterwards and I remember none of it. Also 5 minutes is a very long time when your in there, it feels like hours. When you train everyday u believe you can kick the shit out of anyone, u believe in yourself but it doesn’t make it less scary. Also we the European fans are not so lucky when we stay up all night to watch a main event that lasts 30 seconds, thats not so lucky 😅

watching this with you, was like watching the fights all over again.... early prelims and prelims were awesome but yesterday had some serious anticipation built at the co main event and then main event... if i was in the shoes of a commentator, i wouldn't be able to do it. my heart was coming out of my chest... its that co main and main event title fight trauma haha gotta love it... I feel bad for Kamaru mainly because of his knees have to be holding him back. He probably doesn’t have much time left in the UFC he can only put up with the pain for so long, and then to lose back to back to Leon. That has to be insanely demoralizing. Knowing his knees aren’t going to get any better and he wants to leave a good legacy but can’t. God bless all of these men. Justin and Rafael what a wild fight.

I used to be a sprinter and I know what it is like to lose to lesser opponents in competiton, despite being better. I was on a streak of losing to them when it mattered, because of doubt stemming from the experience of losing to them. Eventually, I beat them all over and over again by having faith in my preparation/abilities and knowing Im better. Izzy, you need to know that you're the better fighter and will win against Alex. I don't want you to have any doubts, in your mind or in your gut about you being better. Have faith in your preparation and know that you're going to win.
