To me both are more "Special" Blasters, Like,- Primary, Secondary, Special / Superweapon :D What I dislike about the "dart in the front"-loading design of the Twinshock, is, like in the Roughcut, the darts can fall out or be bend because they are not protected if they stick out at the front. That just does not feel well thought through to me. I own and enjoy the rough-cut tho, and it's not a major issue.. Still, I have a much better feel when Darts are stored more safely, which is why I still prefer the Strongarm much over the Disruptor.
I can help you two out if you still care three years later. The song is called “Attic of my mind” by Loops Ocean. This can be found on Apple Music and Spotify. This version is a special one though. It is an instrumental. Even the instrumental version of the released song is a bit different than this one. The closest thing in this case would be the Demo version on his UA-cam channel. This still though isn’t it exactly.
Coop, considering that you just went from the Air Warriors releases to this Mega Twinshock & Rotofury comparison, the issue of the size of the hand grips becomes even more apparent. Could you do comparison of different hand grips of various Nerf and off brand companies with actual size measurements?
Honestly i would chose the rotofury because when we play outside especially in my place we have to do much parkour, jump around all the time and and run way too much so thats why i would go with the rotofury over the twinshock
Coop, something I notice with MEGA blasters is that if you line up the whistle holes on the darts either vertically or horizontally in relation to the ground (so for the rotofury that's pointing to and away from the center of the drum) the darts fly much straighter and generally go where you aim them. It's a small change but it makes all the difference!
Here's an idea for some future ones I feel would be really helpful: Modulus Regulator Vs. Elite Hyperfire Vs. Elite Stryfe BuzzBee Thermal Hunter Vs. Elite Alpha Trooper And... N-Strike Deploy Vs. Modulus Battlescout Vs. Doomlands Doubledealer, to determine what the actual worst blaster is.
I mean the twin shock is heaver but heaver But firing 2 at once, smarter ar so you can fire one than the other, faster reload better accuracy, Slam fire, Higher fire rate (Also because of smooth grip) An easy win for twin shock it has like Twice the fire power.
I like the twin shock better, mostly because I just shoot targets and you can shoot one, adjust your aim, and hit it on the 2nd. And this blaster is so easy to load!
I think part of what might make the Twin-Shock's prime feel so good is the vertical grip, at least if you're comparing directly to the Rough-Cut which had an odd-shaped and slightly undersized pump-action. I do like the grip and trigger of the Rough-Cut, but I would kill for a blend of both designs in both Elite and Mega variations (Rough-cut's grip and trigger style, Twin-Shock's 10-barrels without the obstructing center divider that the Rough-Cut has, the vertical grip pump action of the twin-shock, etc.). I also wish that more revolver-style blasters would go the route of the Hammershot and do away with the barrel in front of the darts, the barrel in front of the cylinder just poses a hindrance to precision and distance with the chance of the dart colliding with the walls of the barrel. I also think that a Nerf-style shotgun blaster with a revolver-style cylinder and multiple darts per shot would be an amazing blend of all worlds. Load 3-4 darts per "chamber" of the cylinder, cycle the cylinder/prime the spring with a vertical front-grip style pump-action, and of course the cylinder-drum on the very front of the blaster with no barrel to impede or impact the darts. I also think more one-handed operation spring blasters need to be made like the Hammershot. I don't know how they'd go about different one-handed operation styles other than Single-Action Hammer prime style, but it'd be interesting to see them do more even of just that same style to say the least.
I got one of each of these a couple of days ago on sale/clearance, so it's been interesting to compare my experiences with this review. I started off preferring the Rotofury, but have now come down on the side of the Twinshock. It's easier and quicker to reload, and two quick shots from one prime is a great advantage. If you're in a rush you can load a dart in any hole and know it'll fire. Either can hang across my back as a backup weapon, so the bigger size of the Twinshock isn't a problem. It's actually more comfortable against my back because of the flat sides. I hate the feel of forcefully turning the cylinder on the Rotofury to fully load - it feels like I'm straining or breaking something every time. I also don't like the the rear grip, it's too thin and not raked back enough on the angle. More than once I've bashed my front hand against the cylinder guard when priming.
I think you've got it; it's down to what I'm using the blaster for. I'd likely go twinshock more frequently though just because I like to pick gimmicky blasters and the 2-shot shotgun is fun.
Another tricky versus. With the only real differences being a single stage triggered cylinder and a 2 stage triggered front loader, they really are efectively the same. Imo I'd say the rotofury because I'm not too big of a shotgun fan but BOTH blasters are very good for what they do.
Doominator and rotofury: "really similar!" Rotofury and twinshock: "really similar!" Doomimator and twimshock: not very similar at all lol (pump action, slam firing, front loading springers, sure. But that describes more blasters than i care to count)
I have both of these blasters. I did these tests as well and i got similar results. Personally, I prefer the twinshock, mainly because of how smooth it is and when used with the mega accustrike darts it was more accurate.
Yay more VS videos, I'd pick twinshock though, it can do everything the roto can do, but with butter prime. And I just think shotguns are fun to use, and this one is practical, so it's a win win.
Hey Coop, or anyone who knows. I'm thinking of getting the Twinshock but I'm wondering if it has any of the same issues that the Ruffcut had? Like fireing from only the right side after a while of use.
I would personally pick the Rotofury, mainly because I'm a bit of a smaller dude (about 5"7'). For me, it's a lot more maneuverable and lighter to carry around, especially since I usually move pretty quickly during nerf games. It is a pretty close call for me, as the Twinshock also has some nice features, but in the end I would probably go with the Rotofury because it's just easier for me to control and use, especially when I have to start moving quickly.
Wouldn't say it's that heavy, but it is still heavier and in my experience a little less maneuverable. A small change in weight, especially because the Twinshock is so top and front heavy, makes it a little unwieldy when you have to move quickly.
Where I am, there's a parkour gym and they host Nerf wars, and there are lots of jumps, platforms, and obstacles so the weight and easiness to run and parkour are BIG factors when I choose a blaste, great vid btdubs
@@LandShades actually maybe not. Here’s a scenario, 2 people are in a room. One of the has a mastodon and the other, a jolt. The jolt guy has pre-primed. Assuming the dart hits, he would get the mastodon guy first since he needs to Rev up the gun.
I would say it mostly depends on what type of ammo you have the most of that you could use with your new blaster. If you're heavy into the Rival line, get the Nemesis, if you have tons of mega darts, go for the Mastadon.
My opinion, I'd take the rotofury. I'm not a shotgun fan, but nerf shotguns look cool. However, my personal preference on this lean toward the rotofury. As you've mentioned, you're forcefully controlled to maintain your capacity using the blaster so you don't waste unnecessary darts. I'm more of "control over power" kinda guy. Another is the fact that this is also versatile. It can be either a primary or secondary because of the balanced size and weight. You will also see this more in practical nerf wars where mega darts have more value than regular elite or half-length darts as i mentioned earlier. Since this will most likely be a secondary of a specialized unit, this will have more practical use than the twinshock.
I'd probably choose the Twinshock. Another reason that you didn't mention is that on the Twinshock, there's nothing behind the foregrip. On the Rotofury, especially while slamming, you might worry about hitting your hand on the cylinder (and if your hand slips or you have big hands, you might). On the Twinshock, there isn't anything on which you can hit your hand; it's just empty space. I know I would like not having to worry about smashing my hand/wrist, so I'd go Twinshock.
Twinshock, buttery smooth and because when the zambies are rushing you it's important that you spray as much foam as possible.
They have the same capacity tho ;-;
@@Bing_Chilling485 he means 2 darts as once

jolt vs deploy
Manguy331 battle scout vs deploy
Manguy331 the jolt would win
MinerKing08 ///Minecraft yea coop do it for the lols man battle scout v deploy
JOLT RESKIN!!!!!!!
It would be a simple choice it would be a mag feed vs one shot
but the jolt would still win
Rotofury because I am a kid and twinshock is much bigger.
yeah me too
I would take the twinshock because of the INTIMADATION!
The twin shock is basically a cross between a roto-fury+a rough-cut
Coop, you should make a stand where people can prime the buttery smoothness of the Twinshock!
Do Battlescout vs. Deploy
battle scout wins because reasonz

tbh my closet has almost no more space due to my nemisis’ size so rotofury
Twinshock is the best as it has more accuracy than rotofury.

take out the smart A-R system in the twinshock and you get a shotgun that shoots 10 at once
But the dart velocity would go down by a lot because the air would get distributed to all 10 darts

Mod a sledge fire so it flings the shells out the the barrel super far. Then give it to somebody and watch them freak out when it flys out.

Rotofury because its small and light
