    Hello everyone, At 18:39, we should have used five-letter word because there are five blanks, but we used only four letters. I'm sorry it was a mistake. It should be "major" instead of "main".

      I would appreciate it if students or viewers could give me honest feedback. What is working for you, and what should I change? What should I include, and what should I remove? This way, I can improve my content and be more helpful. One question: Should I edit the listening and speaking parts in "Mixed Language Skill?" Should I edit when I write in the "interactive writing section" and instead explain the structure of what I write to help you with your writing? Are videos too long? Are you watching the whole video? Or are you skipping some parts? Which parts do you skip? I need data for this to improve my videos. Your answers will help me improve my teaching on UA-cam. If you answer all these questions, I will correct your language in the response. It can help you with your writing skills.

    In 4:40. Why don't you use wateres instead of watered

    • @onestopacademyenglish
      @onestopacademyenglish  3 місяці тому +1

      "wateres" is an incorrect spelling. The correct spelling would be "waters". We can't use it because there are four spaces provided after "wat _ _ _ _". Therefore, we will use "watered." However, both of these sentences are grammatically correct.
      "The gardener watered the plants their plants every morning to keep them healthy despite the heat."
      "The gardener waters the plants their plants every morning to keep them healthy despite the heat."
      Do you have any other questions? How is your preparation coming along?

      Great question. It would help if you improve your vocabulary for that. We have vocabulary podcasts on our channel for beginners to advanced levels. Sometimes, the "fake word" is similar to some actual word. After the test, I checked all the words in the dictionary, and if I made a mistake, I shared it with you. I hope it helps. Let me know if you have any more questions.

      Moreover, I have started basic English classes on UA-cam. If you have a couple of months to take the test, it will help you immensely. Even a few classes will help you with speaking and writing. We had our first live session today. If you attend the class online, you can benefit more by asking questions. You know what the most important part is writing in DET, but unfortunately, you didn't late us to watch that part and I am sorry but you had some mistakes if I be honest I do better but I don't know why I can't improve and boost my score!

    • @onestopacademyenglish
      @onestopacademyenglish  2 місяці тому +1

      Thank you for your feedback. In DET, if you score 120+, your English is considered advanced, and most universities are looking for up to 120. In Duolingo, all parts are equally important; writing might be the part where people need more help. After posting a few videos, I made two videos only on writing; now, I don't edit the writing part in my latest videos I don't edit the writing part. This is the effectiveness of feedback :)
      Regarding mistakes, we all make mistakes, including proficient and native users, especially in timed tests, because they add pressure to perform in a limited time. I am glad to hear that your writing skills are excellent and you can spot mistakes; it would be fantastic if you could correct those mistakes for others. If you see comments, people have corrected me, and I appreciate it.
