I really hate this trend of creating new main characters nobody cares about, instead of focusing on putting as many of the beloved (not to mention well known) chraracters in movies that are based on existing franchises. New blood is fine but for Pete's sake have some care for the source material!
I will never understand why they cannot give the MK movies fight quality like in Raid and Ong Bak. Realistic choreography and Brutal!! That really is the only thing they need to get right for a movie like Mortal Kombat. Everyone knows fighting game stories are dumb.
If they focus this mk2 movie around Cole again then it will be an epic fail nobody cared about that guy and please to make lui Kang stronger because that bicycle kick was WACK compare to the good old classic movie plus make better costumes I think the one in the 2021 movie was poor and that cgi goro laughable I know gonna bash that movie hard because it was the time of covid but no excuses now I want to see much better and longer fights scene better costumes for all characters and for heaven sakes a far better bicycle kick plus storyline

I am most excited about seeing Noob Saibot which by the way if they followed the game story correctly that is who the first Sub Zero turns out to be. Also, I would be excited to see the return of Sub Zero but as Kuai Liang.

Yeah, Cole young storyline was trash. This movie had potential those first 15 minutes was amazing and then it became an epic fail. I did enjoy the action scenes though so we’ll see what they do with part two can’t be too hype. After the way this movie finished mk 1.

The first one from 2021 was the best one out of all the Mortal Kombat films because Universal studios did it so brilliantly because everything was spot on the costumes and special effects so I can't wait to watch the next one

Remaking Mortal Kombat is great movie but fighting is great in movie, I had doubts Lewis Tan, (Cole Young) but Kung Lao and Liu Kang have awesome, Remaking have lots of Brutalities and fatalities in movie, it’s actually good but can’t beat original movie.

As much as I love Karl Urban the actor, he’s 52. Too old play Cage, who should be younger character. Plus he doesn’t have a martial arts background. But Keanu Reeves is 62 so maybe 🤷🏻♂️
The first one sucked majorly, why would the sequel be any different? In fact it can't be, because they killed off a bunch of people and basically backed themselves into a corner with characters they can use, plus this one has worst casting than the first one, and that was pretty bad too.

As it was quan chi in the form of sub-zero that killed the shiraiu and scorpions family, then he brought back hanzo hatashi as scorpion from the nether realm so he's get vengeance on sub-zero so then he could create noob saibot👌😎
