I arrange all kinds of music for piano: classical, oldies, pop, movie soundtracks, TV theme songs, jazz, and everything in between!
With this sheet music, you can play "The Ecstasy of Gold" (L'estasi dell'oro) by Ennio Morricone on piano!
It's an accurate, carefully created piano arrangement of the full song.
Ennio Morricone (1928 - 2020) composed "The Ecstasy of Gold" for Sergio Leone's 1966 spaghetti Western film "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly".
In the film, the piece is played when Tuco (played by Eli Wallach) is searching a cemetery for the grave where the gold coins are hidden.
Morricone's soundtrack for "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" became one of the most iconic scores in film history.
Besides the legendary main theme, "The Ecstasy of Gold" stands out as one of his most famous compositions.
It's a wonderful piece to play on the piano!

God is in this Music ✨ Thank you for giving tears to my eyes through this interpretation
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it!
Leave it to an Italian to write the best Western theme song ever created
This is gold. Great arrangement! Ecstasy of Gold is a piece you can listen as many time you want and it doesn't get boring.
I haven't played piano before. Guitar I have. This is the first piece I learnt with the piano.. or am learning, 90 % there! A friend told me I'm nuts to start with something this advanced but I just like there to be real challenge to get me motivated. It takes a while to "get" what the compilation is about, but when you learn the key chords, the logic opens up. Very happy to be able to play the song myself. Just wish I had more time for practicing.
Thanks a million for this great video!
Thank you very much for the wonderful feedback, and for sharing your story - I hope playing piano will bring you a lot of joy in the future!
You either learn how to read and then read all books or you can learn how to read one book and then read another book.
@@niemoikein4330 well spoken

Welcome! :)
The duration of the notes on the sheet and the duration of the notes played dosen't seem to be of equal length, what is it that I don't understand?
I'm not sure what you mean, can you give an example?
@@Montechait For example, page 8: Second measure, right hand: According to the sheet, all the notes are of equal duration, they last the same amount of time (at least it appears so to me), yet you play them with unequal duration. I'm just wondering, why is this discrepancy occuring?
I don't know what you mean by "page 8" - can you give me the bar number, or the time code in the video?
Generally speaking, it is often not necessary to hold down the keys for the full duration of the written notes if you use a piano's sustain pedal, which I am doing here - not sure if that answers your question?
@@Montechait For example, 0:26 - 0:42, right hand. The notes on the sheet are all of equal duration, but you decide to make some longer, some shorter when you play, is that something the player is supposed to understand by himself, because it doesn't follow from the notation. The answer helped, but it didn't extinguish my doubt completely.
When you perform a piece, your goal shouldn't be to play like a machine, with mechanic precision - you can take all sorts of liberties to make a piece musically interesting! Here, I often vary the tempo a bit, or add some small delays to emphasize a bass note, the melody, or a harmonic change, etc. The way I played it here was just my spontaneous interpretation, there's no right or wrong.
what is your piano ?
You can find my setup in the video description of my more recent videos!
@@Montechait i dont speak english very Well
So hard to play
It's surprisingly easy if you ever had any training

@@jeremystone2658 OK then, what is off about it?
The bass notes sound a little low. Maybe an octave down?
