I can’t wait to get this early access May 16th. I have Lego Racers on Nintendo 64 classic game
The more I watch, I definitely consider this game as a game to buy, especially if it goes on sale around Black Friday or any December/Christmas/New Year's sales.
Curious if anyone at the event asked any questions about it being a follow up to the Lego Racer series / if there are any other references in the game? There are some direct callbacks I’ve already noticed in the portal item and missiles.
Sounds a bit like the old lego racers I use to play... here's to hoping it will be!

As long as the haptics and adaptive trigger support is solid, I’m sold; really would have liked 4 player splitscreen too tho…maybe they can add it later 😅 ?….
Can you race against others or is just missions?
It has multi player co op and also PvP races
Do the cars have different stats?
I think they do. That’s one of the main reasons I’m interested in this game. They didn’t just make a completely generic kart racer. And thank god for that. They actually made it more like Burnout Paradise etc..
@@caprise-music6722 it's just that they don't mention anything related to stats in the interviews. And if there are stats, it'll be interesting to see how they balance it with the car building feature

As much as I like the game. Something is throwing me off. I think it's the mixture of Lego and the cartoon universe it's all in. Lego racers was a Lego game in a actual Lego universe.
This was a well made video but the guy saying "kind of" every 5 seconds made me turn it off halfway thru. Couldn't take it

The UI look is off putting. Looks the same as all the others and very outdated looking

honestly would have been cooler if they made a lego racers game with real life cars, basically a midnight club or need for speed but everything is lego... 2k really missed the mark here.
They need licenses for these vehicles. 2K was more for their own thing. I think you can make unofficial ones on the Lego Editor.
They already have sets of lego dedicated to that with Speed Champions; two of those sets have been spotted in the game already, and I imagine the rest will either be in the game or added as DLC
Missed the mark? What would be the point of that.. why not just play NFS, midnight club then.. if you want real cars.
This game and lego is cool becuz you can build your own cars, which makes perfect sense. And they even made the driving satisfying. Missed the mark lmao
That’s why I play Forza horizon 5 it’s best racing game out there I love rally adventure map best looking expansion to exist
