@@slurpinbird5207 The first Lego Batman game is so nostalgic for me. I remember when it came back out in 2008. I will never forget the music and the first level. Some legendary stuff right there.
Lego star wars the complete saga is literally my childhood. I bought it from a pawnshop with my dad for 15$ and I played it so much. I've probably replayed it at least 40 times. Despite Lego batman 1 being the first Lego game I played I had a lot more memories of the complete saga. Even recent memories. I play it every year or so because I also have it on my phone. So if I'm ever on a boring car ride I can just whip out my phone and play some star wars. Regardless of nostalgia, the music, gameplay, and scenarios make this my favorite Lego game.

Call me a sucker for it, but I loved whenever you fought the villains to unlock them across the city. My favorite had to be Ra’s al Ghul and Luthor imo
I just want to see a new Lego Indiana Jones game spanning every movie ever made (or even a new story) but this time better than Indiana Jones 2. Taking what that game did well and improving upon what it did not so well. It seems like a distant dream though...
Would be awesome! I think this is something we might see after they finish the Fantastic Beasts movies. I'm hopefull we could get a complete Wizarding World Lego game after that... although I'd be more than happy to just have a Fantastic Beasts standalone game too :D
I gotta say, I miss the old days of LEGO games when the characters didn't talk and only spoke in grunts. There was something about that which had a charm to it.
@@disneyvillainsfan1666 i am just concerned that the slip stick comedy is still lost as it is mainly build upon voices and not grunts but maybe they took that into account? seems like an awful lot of work tho considering how relatively late into development the mumble mode was introduced so i would be too optimistic about that. but oh well maybe we're lucky and they wanted to recapture some of that charm and make vader pull out a polaroid again
@@creed8712 Bad thing about it is that it has some missing features, like local mutiplayer, some playsets and characters. Even worse, they haven't added these features for over 4 years on Steam Edition
I truly do think that if they resold dimensions as just a big ol crossover of all these different characters instead of a skylanders/disney infinity type of deal, it would have a huge amount of appeal and people would start buying the shit out of the game.
I was so confused when the end cards popped up and you hadn't listed #1 yet. Then I realized which one it was, and the end gag hit even harder. Liked and subbed.
Was looking around to see if they made any more good games after that Batman game. It doesn’t seem like anything has been able to come close to it in terms of my preferences. Real shame
I remember being annoyed that Lego Indiana Jones included a password feature that bypassed having to unlock the characters in the levels themselves. My friends entered all the codes w/o realizing that they were actually shortening the game's replay value. I also recall that Lego Batman didn't use much of Danny Elfman's score from Batman Returns, which would've helped certain levels from repeating the music too much. Here's hoping that they adapt more franchises such as Back to the Future, TMNT, Transformers, Disney Renaissance, MCU, etc...
In ALL Lego video games from 2009-2016 on PC, you can enter the code "N 0 (zero) CUT 5", and skip all cutscenes with a button press for every cutscene. You will have to enter this code every time you reboot/exit the game though, but it's so worth it.
@@Locust652I know we have one based on the movie but a Lego Ninjago show video game in the style of Skywalker saga that would be a dream come true for me Lego Ninjago was one of my favourite shows as a kid
One thing that’s really underrated about Lego games is the soundtracks. The soundtracks are amazing. Sure, some of the songs are taken straight from the movies, but they also write their own music, which is usually pretty stunning
I always remember the Batman soundtrack. That theme in that giant art museum, the Joker’s theme and the main theme always stuck with me. And then any one based on a John Williams soundtrack is phenomenal
Complete Saga is just… it’s fantastic. Maybe it’s nostalgia talking playing through the first 6 movies are so much fun. Some of my favorite levels have to be the podrace, the battle over Coruscant, the anakin obi wan fight, and probably my favorite level where they dressed as storm troopers to find Leia aboard the Death Star. The incorporation of stealth in that level is brilliant. It provides depth to an otherwise simple game.
@@bencehazi7022 lmao yea it's really a game you can enjoy completing. my DS version of TCS has all 3 save files at 100%, my pc version has one fully completed and back on the ps2 in the separate games i had one 100% file in each game. it's just fun
My favorite level is the one where you fight Jango fett and save Obi-Wan on geanosios(I know I spelt that wrong). I play that level everything I get onto the complete saga as a warmup. I LOVE complet saga and it is my number one.
Lego Star Wars 3 was so incredibly fun and thorough. I just wish they’d make another one with all seasons. Or I at least hope they make the new game with some of the same features
Yeah. The game is really good and fun. I still remember when my brother and I first played the Geonosian Arena and were laughing so hard, for all the cutscenes are so funny. Mace Windu eating icecream while fighting against the droids. It just got us.
SO MANY games are missing!? From the top of my head: Lego island 1, 2 and stunt movie, lego loco, lego rock raiders, lego stunts rally, lego football mania, lego chess, lego creator knights and harry potter, lego theme park tycoon
Rock Raiders and the LEGO Island games were peak and I spent so many hours in LEGO Racer 1. Sadly, not many people seem to remember the pre-TT days of LEGO games.
Lego LOTR will always be my number 1. Fell in love with the somewhat open world and the item system. Putting a snowman head on Gandalf and using an ice bow to freeze your mate was something else
You missed something BIG for LEGO The Hobbit, It misses the final movie, Battle Of The Five Armies! While it is a fun game to play, and It’s quite a bit nostalgic for me, the fact it misses an entire movie from the franchise in the game definitely makes it a lower tier game overall
THE FREE ROAM IN MARVEL 1 AND AVENGERS WAS SO GOOD. as a kid, i could explore an entire city with people to talk to and places to see. avengers removed the x men place which was a little disappointing but i didnt mind it much because there was literally so many explorable free roam worlds in avengers. i loved it, spiderman or not. now me and my sister just started playing this lego marvel superheroes 2. i loved how they included cutscenes for my favorites like white tiger and ms marvel who i had liked because of their appearances in other marvel media i've seen. but when i found out that manhattan had been reduced to a small area of like 6 to 8 buildings in a mish-mash of random stuff, i was kind of unhappy. the originals made me actually want to take a visit to a large city when i was older, now it was just this small area avast a wide majority of random areas i don't know of. hopefully i will still find it fun to play the game with my sister and follow the story, but i'll never forgot the big city of manhattan in the first 2 lego marvel games.
yeah, i think because the series was mute for a long time, the Lego brand of humor really came into its own, relying more on oldschool slapstick and visual gags, which made it very unique. The series still has that same humor, but i do miss the days when MCU-style jokes weren't in shoved in
i’ve watched from the beginning of the video and here we go ✌🏼 25. Lego Indiana Jones 2 24. Lego Movie 2 23. Lego Ninjago 22. Lego Movie 1 21. Lego Worlds 20. Lego Star Wars Force Awakens 19. Lego Lord of The Rings 02. Lego Batman 1 01. Lego Star Wars the complete saga goodjob mate, love all your opinions.
If Harry Potter 1-4 had a block mechanic (it'd be nice if there was protego) it would be perfect to me. Only spot I find myself getting Lego death frustration is the graveyard scene but it's nearly impossible to dodge the death eater attacks. My favorite thing about it though, is the two biggest, longest puzzles in a game made of puzzles. Finding your first dark wizard and unlocking the world of content after, and collecting all the gold bricks for the only reward worth the task: Voldemort himself. Also: TCS is more fun once you time your lightsaber combos and way more immersive than repeatedly ground pounding everything.
Still one of the most ambitious Lego games story wise. They went all out with the characters they could use and ended up adding like five main villains and a battle against Galactus at the end with both heroes and villains teaming up, that's a classic big comic story right there, it still gets me hyped. It also had one of the best character rosters, including some of the most iconic Marvel characters while including some others that were less popular but interesting enough to be there, they really harnessed the variety by adding many new powers and abilities that had never been seen before in any Lego game.
@@Seasonal-Shadow_4674 I can't agree enough, I know the older games are immensely good and more nostalgic and that's why they get more attention but I would love to see big UA-camrs touch the first Marvel game too.
@@ruggedeagle Will please make a video saying what games people can’t play and what games people can play if u know the answers? And also say what games will save and what games will not? That was amazing! Although I think Lego Worlds was really good. (Despite popular opinion.) I liked how you could build with lego pieces, and use aton of decorations to enhance your builds. Too bad they scrapped the "survival mode."

Alushdiop _ Alushdiop _ 2 months ago I’ve been playing lego games since I was a kid. I wish they could add difficulty levels in more lego games to increase difficulty for enemies and puzzles. I still enjoy them but sometimes it’s too easy
I literally came here because as a kid I played Lego Batman and the Lego Star Wars on my PS2. And I wanted to see if there were any way better. It seems they are still the goats.
They need to do a remake of the Clone Wars. When it was created only the first two seasons and the movie were involved. That in total was about 45 episodes. Now there are five more seasons and 134 episodes with so much more. They said they weren't putting any clone wars stuff in the skywalker saga making me think they are hinting at a new clone wars games. The clone wars in my opinion was the greatest lego game of all time followed by the complete saga, lego batman one, and lego pirates of the caribean.
I remember that. I was always playing against my brother. I was playing the clones', my brother played the droids' side. Often we destroyed all bases except the one you have on the beginning of the big battle, for protecting it so good, that the other died before reaching the shield to deactivate it.
Lego Star Wars is definitely number one for me, I spent a lot of time playing with my grandmother of all people 😂 she showed me the movies and I showed her the game, if lockdowns ever end I’ll have to take my PS4 over when the skywalker saga drops and show her how far gaming has come since then
I kind of like Lego Indiana Jones 2. It is not the best Lego game I’ve played but still has a lot to offer, I like the hub worlds and how you can solve puzzles, unlock characters, extras and vehicles in unique ways. I like the free-play levels and how they are constructed in a way that lets you see the sort of aftermath of the original level. The super bonus levels are fun and the music is always nostalgic. I’m not a big fan of how some levels are constructed though. Most, if not all of them take place in just one area or room, and no matter what episode/movie you’re playing, it’s always the same set of levels, one or maybe two with an objective to find something or defeat a boss, one where you have to kill enemies that come in waves, one car level where you also have to defeat enemy vehicles in waves and at the end, one giant larger than life boss battle, it’s the same formula no matter what, just with different rooms and different characters and it gets really repetitive I like Indiana Jones 2 because of it’s fast paced gameplay and refined combat but at the same time I find myself liking the first game more because it’s more expansive and really captures the tone of the Indiana Jones movies, you actually feel like you’re an explorer and archeologist just like it’s supposed to be.
Something which i have noticed while playing the Harry Potter games, they are quite synchronized with the movies. The cutscenes happen pretty much at the exact same time as the scene in the movie. (Hermoine luring the werewolf away, for example. The "howls" were 100% synchronized). They also take about as long as watching the movies.
I found that the Harry Potter games were a little long, easy, and tedious. 1-4 was a lot better. After beating it I was so pissed that I had to restart in 5-7.
@@TheSloppyjoejr i dont get why people hate 5-7 you forget the spells for a year because it was banned and you dont get them back because you forget after not revising something for year. 1-4 is so buggy that i hate it ,i have never had a problem with 5-7 and when trying to 100% it the ghosts help in tracking progress in each area + the poly juice is much better as its a rotation wheel and dont have to keep going back to it to switch characters some critiques would be the aquamenti spell its kkinda slow and the last level i believe of half blood prince where dumbeldore drinks i hated that
in Lego Harry Potter years 5-7 the atmosphere is just great, you have music from films throughout the game, you have Hogwarts, what else do you need to be happy?I imagined the world of Harry Potter based on this game as a child.
I think 5-7 could've had a bigger hub world and I also think the duelling thing they introduced in levels was too easy as said in this video and just got annoying to do after a certain point.
Lego lord of the rings is one of my favourite games ever. I love how in the oepn world you can actually walk the full length of the journey of the fellowship, it made it feel so authentic when you found a character hidden away like Tom Bombadil.
I always wanted some DLC for the Hobbit to include Battle of the Five Armies and for Jurassic World to include fallen kingdom, just for completeness 🤷🏻♀️ but what a list this is! 🙌🏼
I think Lego Dimensions would have gotten maybe the 4 or 5 spot if it wasn’t based on the toys, but if all the characters were put in one so you didn’t have to spend your life savings on extra levels and characters
I remember when the first LEGO Marvel Super Heroes came out when I was in fourth grade and I got it over winter break and I woke up early because I was so hype to play it
thanks for the list man, i'm getting back into the lego games on my pc and i have been looking to see if the games i used to play were still any good. appreciate the help
Lego Racers is still an incredibly fun racing game, not just due to kart building customisation and mechanics but also the music, bosses and interesting shortcut and map quirks make it enjoyable to play.
Personally I believe LEGO Batman 2 is the best one in the pantheon. The Game feels huge in terms of scale and how it changed the course of LEGO Games form there on. The introduction of voice acting added so much more to the comedy and story beats. Troy Baker is my favorite Batman voice behind the goat Kevin Conroy, and the atmosphere of the open world is phenomenal.
Not sure if it's considered a full LEGO game, but my favorite LEGO game has always been LEGO Rock Band!! The story was so unique and I loved the songs that were chosen for the game, definitely underrated in terms of LEGO games and Rockband games!!
The first videogame I actually played was The Clone Wars. I still remember having the best time of my life and I replayed it more than 5 times. I'm not even joking. But man...Lord of the Rings... that was on a whole other level. Massive hub world, extremely long and replayable levels... I just can't express how much I loved that game. I didn't even watch Lord of the Rings, but I just loved everything about it Marvel Superheroes was also awesome but the other two were the highlights of my childhood and I wish I could play them again
Lego Star Wars 3 is hands down my favorite Lego game. It was the first game I’ve ever 100% and I absolutely loved the missions where you build ur army so clone troopers and take over enemy sites and build your own.
4:15 YES!!!! I have been wanting this so much. Can you imagine a lego ninjago game that goes through each season(including the prologue?)?!?! So many iconic characters, level opportunities, the multiple different locations for the hub world. The possibilities are endless.
Ngl I’m very happy to see Dimensions get some love. It’s crazy how much thought and care you could feel was put into every level and character. (Some of which only show up once)
I wish they put it out on new gen cause i thought it was on xbox 1 but i can’t find it and it was my favorite lego game ever I remember getting the dr who set and i was so excited
it’s one of of my favorite games still but when i was younger when I would get home, I would immediately run downstairs and play lego city undercover on my wii u. Good times
lego pirates of the caribbean will always remain in my heart as the best lego game. there was no following the dumb ghost studs bs, the levels were amazing, and yes, nostalgia. im surprised the game didnt get a higher ranking
This was such an awesome video, you could do more of ranking lego games like top 10 best customisers, 10 best hub worlds, 10 best graphics I would be interested in that
Personally, I’m really not a fan of the newer open hub worlds at all. I know it’s an unpopular opinion and it might be the nostalgia kicking in but I loved the simplicity of the hub worlds in Star Wars tcs and indiana Jones and the accessibility of seeing your collectibles easily, etc.
Couldn't agree more, I can't stand the new "open worlds" filled with copy-pasted filler useless missions and bloated collectibles. The simplicity of complete saga and Indiana Jones is what made them so absolutely fantastic and timeless masterpieces
There are a couple of improvements I'd want to see for The Complete Saga. Custom characters with Stormtrooper helmets used to be able to activate Stormtrooper panels in Lego Star Wars 2. Same with bounty hunter helmets and bounty hunter panels. But this feature was not included in The Complete Saga for some reason. Also, I often wish the NPCs were able to damage other NPCs in the story levels.
For me Lego Batman 3 was legendary in terms of its bugs, we all know they never patch the games but there was a glitch in 3 that would combine all the hub worlds into 1 by loading them all at once. Second best glitch in any Lego game ever behind original Lego marvel, there’s a single building that existed in every single version of the game, where if you just walk through the building’s door you’ll just fall through the map
Though Lego Indiana Jones 2 would be considered my least favorite as well... It was the first lego game to introduce split screen and the ability to aim weapons. I just wish there were longer and better levels to the game rather than little snip bits. The levels to me are what make a game fun or boring and Indiana Jones 2 just didn't share that feeling as the first one did... which I personally feel the first one was awesome.
It was my first Lego game and I spent hours playing it as a kid, so it was actually one of my favorite! I also just love the movies so I'm bias. If I had to choose a favourite I might choose Lego Batman
When I was a kid, I could never get my hands on 2. When I first saw it at a supermarket, I remember going absolutely ballistic over getting it. I actually even prefer it over the original IJ game… it’s weird. I feel like the vehicle gameplay and large hub worlds really hyped up the game for me…
@@evanringwald1550 100% it a week after that comment. I can see why it gets the hate now… Levels are short, boss battles are too repetitive and way too simple, cutscenes barely add anything to the story or make up new things on the spot and the bonus levels seem to be part-time story telling devices like the library in Last Crusade, or the hub worlds tell the story…
Lego City Undercover is my favorite of the list. Not just for the story, but also the sheer amount of movie references in the game. To give you an idea, the construction chief that you meet later in the game sounds suspiciously like Arnold Shwartsinager (sorry if I butchered the spelling) and his last words are “I’ll be back.”
I remember Lego City Undercover to be my first game back when I got my WiiU. I had already played quite some Lego games before that but this was the first one with such a big world. I’m really nostalgic about it. I had a blast playing it and when it released for the PS4 I immediately bought it again and finished it in 1 play trough. It’s so great
Lego Pirates of the Caribbean is very different on the 3DS and the Xbox, and I actually preferred the 3DS version of the game. Would have loved to see rankings for both games. Great list though.
Hm, I personally always thought the DS version was lacking in comparison to the console version, just didn't give me the same feelings whilst playing through
@@fkez0510 maybe it’s just that the 3DS version is the one I played first, but it always was more nostalgic for me. The levels were super different and in-depth and the cutscenes were amazing.
I agree that Ninjago deserves a big game based on the show. I think making missions based on all the 15+ seasons so far would be really cool. I can imagine it having multiple playable variants of the Ninja and other characters, a ton of vehicles e.g. (the Ultra Sonic Raider, the Golden Weapons elemental vehicles, the boulder blaster and Samurai X mech to name a few... etc.) and a hub world that could be the entire map of Ninjago & the Dark Island, with other locations such as Chen’s island, the Keepers island, Dyer Island, Tiger Widow island, Dr Julian’s lighthouse, a few of the known 16 realms etc. There’s so much Lego & TT Games could use for a massive Ninjago game. And Maybe like the Marvel games where you spawn on the Helicarrier, the main spawn point could be the Destiny’s Bounty or the Monastery.

MY FAVOURITE LEGO GAME!!! Is lego s- your favourite lego game ?
I gotta say, I miss the old days of LEGO games when the characters didn't talk and only spoke in grunts. There was something about that which had a charm to it.
i completely agree brother
Skywalker saga seems like the game for you then
In the skywalker saga there is an option to keep mumbling on or off. I can’t wait for that gamw
@@vasgaming1824 Yeah, I love how they included that option.
Lego City Undercover will forever hold a special spot in my heart. I remember buying a Wii U just for this game and I had so many hours of fun.
I literally only got it on the switch in 2018. Best lego game of all time.

Thing about that and Disney infinity is that they’re practically abandonware
@@creed8712 Disney Infinity at least did that with the gold edition on Steam
@@creed8712 Bad thing about it is that it has some missing features, like local mutiplayer, some playsets and characters. Even worse, they haven't added these features for over 4 years on Steam Edition
I truly do think that if they resold dimensions as just a big ol crossover of all these different characters instead of a skylanders/disney infinity type of deal, it would have a huge amount of appeal and people would start buying the shit out of the game.
I was so confused when the end cards popped up and you hadn't listed #1 yet. Then I realized which one it was, and the end gag hit even harder. Liked and subbed.

WHAT IM SAYIN
They probably will with the amazon series
A lego TMNT game would be amazing
@@Locust652I know we have one based on the movie but a Lego Ninjago show video game in the style of Skywalker saga that would be a dream come true for me Lego Ninjago was one of my favourite shows as a kid
One thing that’s really underrated about Lego games is the soundtracks. The soundtracks are amazing. Sure, some of the songs are taken straight from the movies, but they also write their own music, which is usually pretty stunning
I almost cry because of nostalgia when I hear some of the lego soundtracks I listened to as a little kid.
Lego Batman 2 particularly.
Brick by brick has been living rent free in my head for 20 years and I don't want it to leave
Lego marvel 1 had such a good soundtrack and in my opinion one of the best(if not the best)lego game,my favorite one

You missed something BIG for LEGO The Hobbit, It misses the final movie, Battle Of The Five Armies! While it is a fun game to play, and It’s quite a bit nostalgic for me, the fact it misses an entire movie from the franchise in the game definitely makes it a lower tier game overall
Lego Hobbit was made before movie 3 and I've never played the game, but that would definitely make it better.

Bro the free roam in nyc (marvel 1) was so legendary I remember it so much it was the best lego game ever made
They removed the x-men from marvel avengers because it was an MCU adaptation
I liked the mumbles and grunts more then the voice acting lol
Robin: “hmmhnnmm?”
Batman: “mrmnnmrm”
Robin: “hhmmmnhm :( “
yeah, i think because the series was mute for a long time, the Lego brand of humor really came into its own, relying more on oldschool slapstick and visual gags, which made it very unique. The series still has that same humor, but i do miss the days when MCU-style jokes weren't in shoved in

I would sell my soul to see the rest of Clone Wars in LEGO game.
In lego rock raiders style
My favourite part of Lego Star Wars 3 were those big battles where you could build up your army! I loved doing that and playing against someone!
Agreed
That was a blast!

Lcu on top for me
I kind of like Lego Indiana Jones 2.
Most, if not all of them take place in just one area or room, and no matter what episode/movie you’re playing, it’s always the same set of levels, one or maybe two with an objective to find something or defeat a boss, one where you have to kill enemies that come in waves, one car level where you also have to defeat enemy vehicles in waves and at the end, one giant larger than life boss battle, it’s the same formula no matter what, just with different rooms and different characters and it gets really repetitive
I like Indiana Jones 2 because of it’s fast paced gameplay and refined combat but at the same time I find myself liking the first game more because it’s more expansive and really captures the tone of the Indiana Jones movies, you actually feel like you’re an explorer and archeologist just like it’s supposed to be.
The most respectful ranking i've ever seen lolll. Even the bottom of the list was getting some compliments. Nice

Open world get a bit samey. It's overrated. Nice now and then but all the time? Sometimes a linear experience just gets things to move on.
Couldn't agree more, I can't stand the new "open worlds" filled with copy-pasted filler useless missions and bloated collectibles. The simplicity of complete saga and Indiana Jones is what made them so absolutely fantastic and timeless masterpieces
I totally agree. The hub world in TCS ties the whole game together in such a nice way. Without that the games feel weird.
same. the lego batman 1, pirates of the carribean, indiana jones, star wars non open world hub was perfect

Levels are short, boss battles are too repetitive and way too simple, cutscenes barely add anything to the story or make up new things on the spot and the bonus levels seem to be part-time story telling devices like the library in Last Crusade, or the hub worlds tell the story…
I love how you used Mace Windu in the prologue of Force Awakens
Lego City Undercover is my favorite of the list. Not just for the story, but also the sheer amount of movie references in the game. To give you an idea, the construction chief that you meet later in the game sounds suspiciously like Arnold Shwartsinager (sorry if I butchered the spelling) and his last words are “I’ll be back.”
Schwarzennegger
Same
Me and my sister called it Lego GTA XD. It’s probably my favorite Lego game, beside Lego Jurassic world
It's Arnold Scavanger
Honestly, how have they never made a Lego Cars game? That would be fire 🔥🔥
It’s so great
lego indiana jones 2: exists
everyone: I HATE YOU!
It's still good !
*Alternatively:* If an item does not appear in our records, it does not exist!
Seeing lego batman gameplay gave so much nostalgia. I remember anticipating getting off school to play as the villains
I personally have LEGO Indy 2 and LEGO Movie 2 swapped, but everything else is a solid ranking. Best I’ve seen so far, anyways. Great job!
Lego Pirates of the Caribbean is very different on the 3DS and the Xbox, and I actually preferred the 3DS version of the game. Would have loved to see rankings for both games. Great list though.
What are the diferences? I'm thinking about getting it for the 3DS
@Brickteller the levels, and how to complete them are slightly different from what I remember.
what about the psp
Hm, I personally always thought the DS version was lacking in comparison to the console version, just didn't give me the same feelings whilst playing through
@@fkez0510 maybe it’s just that the 3DS version is the one I played first, but it always was more nostalgic for me. The levels were super different and in-depth and the cutscenes were amazing.
The skywalker saga is definitely gonna be one of my favorites I mean everything about it sounds awesome
Honestly yeah
Fax and airjitzu needs to be in it to plus custom character and powers and online mode where you can play against other people
