A farmer is always resourceful to fix problems. So lucky to have good hay weather.
Happy Father’s Day to Kevin and the Rest of the Dad Viewers on this Channel. 👍🙏
Thanks so much!
Happy father's day , enjoy .
Thanks so much!
I sold Kevin the New Holland big square baler when he bought it new. Enjoy watching your videos and hi to everyone.
Jim! Yes, you also sold you the hay rake. 😀 That baler has been a good piece of equipment for us!!
Hope you are doing well.
I am doing well. Stumbled across your UA-cam videos some time back and now watch all of them. Always enjoyed doing business with Kevin’s and your families.
Not many people would have thought to use a tape measure for a knife. Nice work Rhonda. A pocket knife would be nice to have in a case like this.
There is always troubles on the farm....Good thinking on the tape measure...At least you got it done...Stay safe and see you on the next one
What a sweet lady; "I slow down and watch for baby Deer". Those bales are pretty big not sure what they weigh or how many small bales they equal, but it would be a lot easier to pick up because you use a machine!
Our bales weigh 800 lbs, and there's about 20 small bales in each bale.
Hi Rhonda, you're one amazing woman, turn your hand to any task, well done.
Happy Fathers Day to Kevin
Thanks!
Holy cow, that must have taken a long time to cut through twine with a tape measure! Now that takes some patience and wisdom! 😅
It took a while! Plus, it was in a hard to reach place, so the cut was slow going. 🐌 😄
That was a good idea using the tape measure. I don't think I would have thought of that. Whatever it takes to get back to work.
Yep The tape measure - I would not have thought of that either , Very good .
Good looking hay and a another great Sunday video 👍👍
Beautiful Baling, Breakdowns are common do a Beautiful job love you all from Australia ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Those hydraulic hoses can be a real hassle, my youngest son and I have a lot of older equipment and we're dealing with a broken-worn out shoe on his discbine, so we just bent it down and finished the field he was in. Us farmers just do our best, given the circumstances. Good luck on the rest of the season, I hope all goes well and I want to wish Kevin a Happy Father's Day!
Thanks, you too!!
Green Acres of Clay, You look good behind the wheel of that Farm equipment. Thank you for another wonderful episode. God Bless...
Great job Ronda, Thank You👍🙏😎
Great job!!!!!!
Smart lady I never would have thought about using a tape measure for cutting something, happy Father’s Day to Kevin.
I have ran a few fawns through a conditioner. Always hated that but you can’t see them from the tractor seat and when they get scared they just lay down as flat as they can instead of running away.
Happy fathers day Kevin. Good use of the tape measure Rhonda🙂🙂🙂🙂
Thank you!
Another great video! Thanks for sharing!!!
Good to see you. I just cleared a bunch of small stumps in my small wet land back yard. I do not like the raw soil showing so yesterday I sowed some oats for cover until the grass comes back. There is rain today and more is coming.
Happy day late but happy Father’s Day to Kevin 🇺🇸
Good catch on the oil line
ANOTHER NICE VIDEO Rhonda let Kevin know know that I wish him a happy father's day
Thank you, I will
Nice video, Rhonda!! Smooth sailing with the haybine and then a few problems 'crop' up. That's farming I guess, but you have a supportive team to get things fixed and keep going. Have a good Father's Day celebration and week ahead! 😀
Good job with the MacGyver skills using the tape measure Ronda!
Another great video!
Good Sunday Fathers Day Morning to Kevin and his beautiful wife Ronda🎶🎶😊 we are supposed to get some very hot weather here in Massachusetts in the next couple of days but we are like your family very hardy and will endure it
Work safely and have a great day, week, and year
As always your good friend
Kenny D ❤😊
It's going to be a hot week here, too. 🥵
Good morning Kevin and Ronda and the entire acres of clay family have a blessed Sunday!!!
Great video Rhonda n looking great 👍 driving the Ford also Happy Father’s Day farmer Kevin
Another great video from a great family !!! Thank you Rhonda for sharing !!! Very smart to use tape measure to clear the knotter!!! We always used a 268 NH square baler. One or the other knotters would clog up often. I have made do with a lot of different utensils before if I had forgotten my knife. Finally left my knife in the small toolbox where we kept the shear bolts. Please be careful and God bless you all !!!!! Edd
Smart lady🎉.
That's what you call a beautiful country woman always figure something out 🍀🤠
I'm sure a lot of viewers will be sending you knives to be permanently kept in the cab of the tractor to help deal with such issues as twine cutting. Excellent thinking outside the box! A tape measure saved the day.
I'm thankful there was a tape measure in the tractor.
Happy belated Father's Day to Kevin!!! Will we need to wish Seth and Ethan a Happy Father's Day next year?!?! It is frustrating when you just get something fixed, and the same thing happens again. Aren't all farmers supposed to have a pocket knife with them all the time?!?! (Ha!Ha!)
I should have known better, especially when baling hay. 😄
Improvise, adapt, overcome, the farmer fix mantra. Nice looking haystack in the barn. The heat has arrived here in MO and the corn is growing by leaps and bounds. I know it's been a few weeks since it happened, but how is Seth's injury? Wishing Kevin a joyous Father's day. Blessings on your faminly and farm. Stay safe
Seth's hand is healing well. Thanks for asking!
thank you
Love your videos just real people trying to make a living God bless you and your family
Good video good to see y'all
I enjoyed your video so much. Thank you. Do you have anything special for Kevin for Father's Day? I was interested in seeing bunnies or rabbits along with the fawns. I realize that you slow down when you see the grass moving. That likely keeps you on your toes.
Nothing too special.
Great family team great video
Very good video as always. Nice looking first cut.. with breakdowns you do what you Gotta do to get going. Your friend from Virginia.
Ronda. What you need on all or most of your tractors is what they used to be called a Suicide Knob. But I believe that it’s called a wheel spinner so you can do two things at once, hold the camera and turn the wheel at the same time Just a suggestion 😊
I couple of our tractors have a knob, but not all of them. They are very handy to have, though!!
What is this a farmers wife NOT caring a pocket knife, LOL Love your videos.
Hi Ronda, I have mowed my grass 5 times so far this year. But I just started mowing at another house for the first time and that grass is over 3 feet tall. In the 9 yrs that I've owned that house I've never let it go this long. It is seeding like crazy. It's clay soil too. Thank you for revealing today style haying. It's been over 55 yrs since I've done any haying. Good video. Good people. Bye for now. ben/ michigan
Years ago I swathed a patch of brome. I got to last strip across the field. A coyote come out , if looks could kill I'd be dead! A couple weeks later I swathed the patch of Sudan grass next to it. The coyote come out , trotted away from me , sniffing the base of the windrow. It caught something , ate it , trotted away!
good resourcefulness using the tape measure. I am careful not to let the tape retract fast and whip around because of the sharp edges.
Great thinking using what you could.
Ronda, it’s days like this that I wish I lived closer so that I could lend a hand to you and Kevin 😢
Happy Father's day Kevin
He says thanks!
Thanks
Por unos momentos imaginé estar conduciendo... buen trabajo 👏👍
In the words of Sir Winston Churchill, " Never give up!" This is truly a farm family that knows how to get it done! I enjoy your videos.
You can give yourself a good cut sliding the measuring tape through your fingers and hand. Sharp like a long bladed knife but with multiple uses.
It's so disgusting that replacement parts are just crap nowadays and also if you have to order them it might take a week or two to get them.🤬 l hope you're having a good Fathers Day Kevin.
Just think you'll have 2 more bailing's to do before the end of the season. Hope your not going to be effected by this heat wave that is coming my way. In any case keep safe and hydrated my friend.
Going to be in the 90's all week. 🥵
THANKS!
Great video luv the mf plate on front of the ford
Really enjoyed your video
Thank you!
Mrs MacGuyver
🤣
So you're smart and beautiful.
Rockin' Ronda getting it done!! I was just wondering if you saw many critters while mowing, then boom! You ended up answering my question. LOL, I love Ronda's videos.
Thanks!!!
i bet you guys are loving the decon prices wright know.
Miss Rhonda, next time you go Tractor Supply pick up a couple of pocket knives, maybe a pouch and put that on a belt. Put that where you will see it every day before you walk outside, and have a knife for yourself. They may even have one in pink ! You using a tape measure as a knife on the fly was outstanding. Don't ever under estimate Miss Rhonda !
Thanks dad

Now we know the wisdom of the old saying, "making hay while the sun shines"!
Hi, Ronda! Happy Sunday and Happy Father's Day!😊😊😊😊😊😎☀💙💙💙💙💙💙🌷💖💖💖💖💖💖🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇👍. Cutting the Hay is a great idea to see the fields perfectly well. I love it!😀⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍. Also, I have a beautiful fun fact for you, Ronda. Here it comes -- You look like Zoey Deutch, the actress from the movie "Vampire Academy." The voice sounded like you and the smile is...magical! WOW!!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍👍
need tool box on each machine....nice green crop
You should’ve called your daughter-in-law, Abby
Hey Rhonda, looks like your doing a great job, we too bale a lot of grass hay, we raise a lot of hair sheep and use it for replacement ewe lambs and put there feed over top. We have had trouble holding wind rows with 25 to 30 mph wind. Looks like you run a really great operation, your livestock looks like it is great shape!!!! Take care. Stan Ia.
Thanks for watching!!
Good morning and great video Rhonda. Happy Father's Day Kevin
Good smarts young lady.😊
Show us the bale counter on that baler. 😊 that’s great that it’s been a machine for that many years on your farm
Kevin is a true farmer - able to multi- task and multi-use any part of equipment.
Rhonda remember in farming "if it's not 1 thing it's a knotter" 😂😂😂
🤣😂
Happy Father's Day Kevin!
Thanks!
Thx for sharing
Those lone trees in the fields days are probably numbered with kevins new to you excavater. Happy new week and stay safe.
A great vid! Things do break,or go wrong! Stay safe!
You could be Mrs. McGyver ! LOL!
Happy Father's day to Kevin a good Sunday to your family
Thank you!
I had to turn off the channel watching you and a jacket was making me sweat. It’s 90 here in Central Ohio with a weeklong heat wave coming on not sure where you’re at and why you’re wearing a jacket that tractor must have awesome AC.
I started mowing early in the morning when it was still chilly outside. 😄
