I had a 400 version of this bike many years ago. I bought it hoping my wife would get the bug but she never did and it was sold. They are a great bike with plenty of power that can hold its own on the freeways and highways at the national speed limit of 110kms/h in Australia where l live. The storage under the seat was good but there is no doubt adding a top box is a good idea. In Australia they are classed as a motorcycle and require a motorcycle licence but they are learner legal. For those possibly deterred by the scooter thing - don't be it does everything a bike can do it's just more stable because of the extra wheel at the front. There is no doubt the locking mechanism is a good idea not only for novices but also for older riders who might struggle with the weight otherwise or those who are slight themselves. I own a Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive which overall I consider to be a better bike but sadly they are no longer made. I also own a Can Am Spyder because I love the stability of the extra wheel but on a wider footprint. My recommendation for any one curious - take it for a test ride you won't be disappointed.
