I wanted to thank you for posting this excellent walk-through of Ocean Watch Villas. It made our stay much better because your video made it feel familiar when we arrived so we knew exactly where to go from the start. I'm not sure I get your disdain for the parking garage but it really didn't matter. The parking garage was exactly that and not an issue. Well done sir.
You're very welcome. I am very happy to hear that these videos are helpful and made your vacation a little easier. As to the parking garage, I don't mind the one back in the Woodsy section, but the one next to the main building seemed a little cramped. I am not a big fan of these types of garage parking. Thanks for watching the videos!
Yes, I will have some footage of the balcony in the room tour video. In some previous videos, I would create a separate video just talking about the balconies and not include it in the room tour. Now I just do one video of the room and balcony. So that may be why the video you watched didn't include anything about the balcony. Thanks for watching.
Just came across your video. Thanks for all the great info! Question though….I booked an “Oceanview” room at the ocean Watch villas….where do you think that is? Or what building would you think that is? It looks like they have an Ocean from, Ocean view and Ocean side
Thanks for watching. The Ocean View rooms will be floors seven and higher in the Pine and Maple buildings in the Woodsy section. This is the section that is set back from the main ocean front section of the resort. Depending on how high your room is, you can have some decent ocean views and the pool back there is seems to be less crowded and you also have the relaxation/quiet pool. Parking back there is also better because they have ground level parking and a parking garage. It is just a bit of a walk to get to the main part of the resort and the main pool area and beach.
Jeremy I found out today that Marriott Vacation Club Corporate Headquarters in Orlando Florida can still sell Deeded Fixed Annual Timeshare Weeks, Deeded Floating Timeshare Weeks in addition to Points plus you can pick a home resort with lower maintenance fees
The facilities are separate. The Ocean Watch Vacation Club property has its own pools and facilities. The Marriott Myrtle Beach Resort & Spa hotel also has their own pools and facilities. Guests at the hotel can't use the pools at timeshare. I am not 100% sure on this, but I think guests staying at the timeshare property can go over and use the hotel pools, but I would suggest confirming that with the front desk at Ocean Watch. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
Great videos, very informative. Could you tell me how long would it take to walk from the pine building to the beach? Just looking for an estimation, we have 2 kids ages 12 & 9.
It is about a 7-10 minute walk from villa to beach. Additionally there are some stairs to go down along the way (and back up on the return). Though an elevator is available in the lobby. Thanks for watching.
It isn't as soft like the sand on the west coast beaches in Florida, but it certainly isn't a rocky beach. The sand is soft in Myrtle Beach. Thanks for watching!
The Sand Dollar Pool Bar & Grill is open, so you can get some food and drink around the pool. There are no real activities going on. I usually do these resort tours early in the morning so I am not filming other people, thus why it always looks uncrowded. Thanks for watching!

This is our favorite resort! Which building did you stay in? Are you going to do a room tour video?
We were in Maple in the Woodsy section. THere will most definitely be a room tour video in the future. Thanks for watching!
Love your videos! When you post the room tour will you include the balcony? I remember in one of your videos I didn’t recall seeing the balcony in it.

Our favorite and our home base. BTW, where can I get one of those MVC hats? Never can find one.
They seem to be hard to find. I bought this one at Marriott's Ocean Pointe in Florida. Thanks for watching and you have a beautiful home resort!
I have also seen the hats in the Marketplace at Marriott's Cypress Harbour in Orlando.
Does the marriot hotel share the same amenities as the villas?

Hello, nice video! Does the hotel share the same amenities as the villas??
No the hotel has its own gym and pools
Is the sand soft or rocky soft?

Not a time to go if you want open things? Where is everyone?
