@@ragingtyga It's just an oil cooled exhaust valve pretty basic temp control, Harley must be just about the only company in the world who's engines are all air cooled. TBH 140 odd HP from a 2.1 litre engine is no that impressive.
And that's the love of Harleys.. your still getting an air cooled motor... if you like to always work on your bike... tear it down.. build it back.. harley is really the only game in town to do this. Granted not many people work on their bikes anymore, there are still a few of us out there. I know some people are probably saying "How does it feel stronger when it actually lost hp?"....however thats only PEAK HP....I am betting it gained a TON in the midrange when you went to the Thundermax. Thats where you TRULY feel the difference. Peak HP is great and all but you can lose 5 hp at 5500 but gain 10-15 hp at 3500 hp and that is actually where you live, where you actually USE the HP and Torque. Love watching this progression. I have a question unrelated to performance, what sissy bar is that? Looking for one for the new 2020 softtail standard i just bought. Mount inside or outside the fender struts? Thanks

Not far from my targets...every tuner has their own target numbers in regards to AFR, overall curve, rpm relation to curve, plus length of time to achieve that peak number, all that data comes into play with regards to tuning. You can have equal bikes with equal power but if one reaches it’s peak numbers faster than the other, well, thats the one that will win everytime...lets not forget that their are many varying factors in this game, i.e. intake size, injector size, pulse width, valve size, displacement, piston dome shape, size of combustion chamber, size and lenth of exhaust pipes, type of fuel...and the list can keep going tbh, lol, but that aught to be enough for the moment! Would you be able to get around Harleys warranty by using a thundermaxx and just swapping it back to the factory ecu whenever you need to have it worked on?
Probably if you don't have a bunch of UA-cam videos showing the aftermarket tuner ;) Mostly joking, what most people don't realize is that the dealership isn't out to void your warranty. In theory, it could be voided for the tuner or probably the pipes (assuming they don't have catalytic converters), in reality, dealerships usually won't void the warranty unless the aftermarket part is to blame for whatever problem you have. It may be preferable for H-D corporate to void more warranties, but it's usually preferable to the dealership to make customers happy.
If you ask me. For the price, this is how the bike should preform from the factory. Crazy you have to dump so much money for the bike to preform how it should.
Disagree on it performing like this from the factory. Having recently ridden a stock Road Glide for a few days, you can tell H-D aims for that more middle ground to try and appeal to more people. So many people would be driven away if bikes came like my FXLRS is right now. It’s freakin angry! lol
Why couldn’t you load it straight onto the Dyno once you had installed the Thundermax hardware on the bike with the base tune from TM and tuned it to optimise the HP and Torque using the PV. It’s a pity that you are totally dependent on TM auto tune to get you to a point for you to start really tuning using your tuning expertise and the Dynojet tools at your disposal. Good to get some response from you and Matt Smith (Those Dyno Guys) on this approach. I am not an “auto tuner” fan.
Lots of nice new parts going into this bike. The HP is lagging still but torque is ok, though... By the time your done you've added, 131 kit/throttle body, cams, heads?, tuner, clutch and new pipes, plus whatever else. You gotta be well north of $10k on the build. The tuning seems to be a very long process. I don't think your average Harley dealer is that dedicated to one bike, unless you have very deep pockets. That's kind of disappointing. Hopefully we should see at least 145 to 150 hp by the end?
Just curious you mentioned about the torque and hp numbers crossing around 5200 rpm, not sure if you know but hp and tq always cross at 5250rpms on all gas engines

What's the point of auto tune if you have to keep putting it back on the Dyno....?
Blockhead, you going to keep the tbr exhaust on or put back the 2-2?
Keeping the 2-1, makes a decent bit more power 👍🏼
How about a price for parts and labor for your 131 build.
do you always have trouble fitting a rubber? lol
Badass !
What route did you take for the front O2 sensor? Specificaly where did you end up putting the big plug between O2 and harness?
Can I just put in a thundermax and let it ride after installing headpipes and air cleaner? Does it actually "self-tune"?
you should have left the freeze frame a little longer so people watching the video would think something was wrong lol
Just curious you mentioned about the torque and hp numbers crossing around 5200 rpm, not sure if you know but hp and tq always cross at 5250rpms on all gas engines
Woah XD
hehe nice,a Blockhead vid to watch b4 work
(watching at almost 11am for me,today I work from 12 to 19)
Almost kinda maybe definettly not :D
Ye Mike do be looking like a snack XD nice voice
Does the aftermarket tuner void the warranty?
Coming from someone who would like to not void a warranty. Would changing out the ECM as a whole keep the warranty “intact” by just changing back if I need work done?
Dose your Cruze control still work with the thunder max
Did this bike has easy start cams ?
Do you still have thunder Max tuner on Goldzilla?
where those pipes louder that the two brothers comp s ?
Instant warranty void but man, that thing is gonna run sweet!!
Does the thundermax void your warranty?
what a monster of a bike i love it but man this cant be cheap lmao
I asked him how much it cost but he didn't answer.
He provides all the info on what he’s installing so you could piece it together without labor and get a solid estimation
@@johnsondanny_ for sure but still cant be cheap even if with some do it your self work
@@Motobro699 it was more of a response to Eddie than you
@@johnsondanny_ oh ahh😅😅😅
