After Wendi became a mother her parents would drive up from Miami EVERY WEEKEND to help her with the children. That's 14 hours round trip. They wouldn't allow her to drive by herself to Miami. The parents would drive to Tallahassee to get her and take her back to Miami, then reverse the trip when she was ready to go home - 28 hours total. They treated her like a helpless child. Jeff Lacasse did say something about her being disorganized and implied that she was an inept parent. She was clearly using him. Donna recounted in emails to Wendi how much she and Harvey had done for her, how the whole family had helped her. I think the parents were tired of making the trips. Apparently it also impacted how much Harvey could work at the dental practice to make money. The Adelsons had a lot of motive for wanting a permanent solution to Dan. The prosecutors have the goods on Donna. The police are analyzing Harvey's electronics right now. If they show evidence of being involved in the conspiracy he'll be convicted next. Hopefully they have enough to convict Wendi, too. She'll be saved for last. #JusticeForDan

Yes, I believe she set the scene a long time before and on many occasions with her friends where she'd purposely raise how jealous and crazy Jeff was and would embellish and exaggerate to make him appear on the edge.

She tells.Isom she didn’t leave the house “until“ noon, or whatever. She feels the need to mention I didn’t have a chance to change, I did laundry. WHAT?!? Does anyone believe that Wendy would have gone to meet friends at lunch dressed the way she was? I doubt it. I believe she wanted to be the one to find Dan. There she would’ve been, the grieving, bloody ex-wife. Then she saw the tape, was surprised and had no choice, but to turn around and leave. Laughing - right she laughs on the stand when she’s asked about the $15,000 in Dans checking account saying it was used for funeral expenses, then big huge laugh and she catches herself. Nobody mentions that, but it’s right there in your face! Why would you laugh re funeral expenses?
It always struck me how much information and theories Wendi was able to put forth right after being told which should have been emotionally shocking. An honest person would ask for some time, a day or two, to gather themselves in order to think clearly. But not Wendi, she was crying while lucidly walking through detailed what-if scenarios! That in itself was a huge red flag.

I retired after 22 years in the referral prison system. I worked an inmate cadre. I've heard it all plus more. Family rolls on family routinely. Example, after receiving 30 years at sentencing, the new convict is offered an opportunity to give some of it away. After some time inside a jail cell, the inmate disappears for a few days,, then you here they were out to court. Charlie will be out to court before long, if he hasn't already. Charlie will break first. MAYBE the aged mother too, but I doubt it. Charlie, if he hasn't already, will be singing.

Wendi missed the chance to take suspicion from her family (at least for awhile), by saying maybe it was a disgruntled student. Students assault and kill professors. We had 5 of them killed by an unhappy PhD student on my campus alone. If you look the 'Rate My Professor' ratings; there are a lot of students who are probably one step away from taking someone out. I’m almost positive that Jane is the friend that set Jeff and Wendi up to date. Jane is/was a college of Jeff’s at FSU. They are both clinical social work professors. Knowing that, I think it’s likely that that was the whole reason that Wendi decided to have the victim’s advocate call Jane to be the friend that came down to the station. Because Jane was the friend that introduced Jeff and Wendi, she is more likely to bring Jeff up to the police.

Does anyone believe that Wendy would have gone to meet friends at lunch dressed the way she was? I doubt it.
I believe she wanted to be the one to find Dan. There she would’ve been, the grieving, bloody ex-wife. Then she saw the tape, was surprised and had no choice, but to turn around and leave.
I think the cloud of intelligence they believe they have has blinded them from how ridiculous this all is and how bad of an actress she is. My son is an film actor. I am not, but anyone of us can say what a terrible display this all is.

It always struck me how much information and theories Wendi was able to put forth right after being told which should have been emotionally shocking. An honest person would ask for some time, a day or two, to gather themselves in order to think clearly. But not Wendi, she was crying while lucidly walking through detailed what-if scenarios! That in itself was a huge red flag.
And information gathering throughout.

I retired after 22 years in the referral prison system. I worked an inmate cadre. I've heard it all plus more. Family rolls on family routinely. Example, after receiving 30 years at sentencing, the new convict is offered an opportunity to give some of it away. After some time inside a jail cell, the inmate disappears for a few days,, then you here they were out to court. Charlie will be out to court before long, if he hasn't already. Charlie will break first. MAYBE the aged mother too, but I doubt it. Charlie, if he hasn't already, will be singing.

I seen an interview with him though he really seems to have stepped back and looked at the situation he had gotten himself into, Andrew reflect on his decisions which is so fantastic cuz sometimes you can be dating a certain type crazy, and then you kind of hit a rock bottom like the worst craziest person you've ever, and it's like a smack in the face like oh I need to stop dating crazy people and treat myself better.

Thanks for taking one for the team. I tried to watch her interview, but she drove me nuts. Wendi missed the chance to take suspicion from her family (at least for awhile), by saying maybe it was a disgruntled student. Students assault and kill professors. We had 5 of them killed by an unhappy PhD student on my campus alone. If you look the 'Rate My Professor' ratings; there are a lot of students who are probably one step away from taking someone out. I love it when criminals knock themselves out to engineer a well-buttressed alibi ... and all that does is prick up the investigators' ears. Now the detectives know that at the very least this subject had advance knowledge of a planned crime and when it was going to occur.
Especially when they blow that alibi by driving to the scene of the crime.
Or offer the alibi without even being asked...just nonchalantly letting the investigators know where they were and when without being asked! Huge Red Flag!

I’m almost positive that Jane is the friend that set Jeff and Wendi up to date. Jane is/was a college of Jeff’s at FSU. They are both clinical social work professors. Knowing that, I think it’s likely that that was the whole reason that Wendi decided to have the victim’s advocate call Jane to be the friend that came down to the station. Because Jane was the friend that introduced Jeff and Wendi, she is more likely to bring Jeff up to the police.
