Hi Julie! I enjoy your classes very much. I have studied fashion design but ever since, havent practiced it in a profession fashion manner. I hope to have the time and sew enjoying it like you!☺️
Thank you, I'm a beginner (ish), I just made this in one day, without an overlocker - just did zig zag stitch instead of overlock. It has turned out better than I expected, definitely need to work on the placket, mine has wrinkles on the top one, but still very amazed with this. Brilliant tutorial, thanks again :) Edit - I had to guess about the sleeves - you didn't say which one went in which side, maybe I put the wrong one in wrong side as they do sit a little weird, but it fits really well otherwise, so that's just a small niggle.
I love your video. Well done. I have sewed seamed wrapped and sewn again on the placket and the collar. I want to give up but I want to succeed even more. I waisted lots of fabric which was really hard to work with in itself. I guess I just need some encouragement. 😔
Hi Catherine! Are you using polo shirt fabric? If so, have you tried interfacing the placket and placket placement with fusible stretch interfacing? It will stabilise the fabric and it will be much easier to sew with! No need to get discouraged - practise makes it perfect, so the more you sew the better you’ll become 😉
thank you for such a comprehensive, clear, easy to see, follow along and hopefully! make a great shirt. I do have a couple of questions please. What is the fabric that you are using? I am a new sewer so not familiar with what to look for. Also I have a larger bust, would I need to make any adjustment to the drafting of the pattern to accomodate this? thank you again a truly wonderfull inspiring tutorial
Hi I liked all the details you shared and the calmness of your voice while explaining the tutorial, one thing that was not clear though is when you marked on the front of the shirt and where should the placket be attached exactly is not clear. Is the edge of the placket need to be on the line then we sew one cm away from the edge. Or should the edge be aligned to the center crease and then sew one cm away. I hope you edit and clarify more this points. Thank you
Glad to hear you enjoyed the video, Chris! 🤗 I’ve been using these scissors almost daily for two years and they are as good as new - I’m sure you’ll enjoy them as much as I do!
Glad to hear you liked the video! The speed of sewing polo shirt highly depends if the fabric is cut or not - with pattern cut out, it can take and hour or two to sew everything together for experienced seamstress 🙂
Glad you are enjoying the tutorial, Cheryl! The sleeve part that is on the right in the video (the one with a deeper curve) goes to the front, and the left part in the video goes to the back! 🤗
Hello, very nice and well explained video, I wanted to ask you kindly where do you find the fabric for the polo shirt? I CANNOT FIND good piqué fabric ON THE INTERNET. Thank you Joseph
Thanks for a very nice tutorial, but i'm having trouble measuring myself or even the shirt i want to copy, and a consistent size chart with the same measure points you use seems to be non existent, do you happen to know what the measurements for a regular medium sized mens polo would be?
Help! In the he, section of the Polo shirt video you use some kind of hem stabalizer before you sew the hem. Can you please describe this product? Is it just a strip of interfacing you have cut or can it be purchased on a roll?
Ho.please can we have cutt and sew in the same video for a winter coat plus with lining.can you go on in miniature size if you want so we turn on sewing fast.please a medical wear too.thank you.we r waiting for this.please use pink.orange.yellow.beze. colour of fabric.in white colour its not well distinguished sewing.maybe black thread woud be good.😘
Julie, ma'am you are a such a friendly teacher who teaches very good tutorial , thank you from bottom of my heart. From India'.
Great video!! Only thing I would suggest is using erasable markers so we can see the lines you are drawing.

what kind of fabric should be used for a polo shirt ?
Great video,
How long from start to finish does it take for an experienced sewer to make one polo shirt?

Joseph
Hello Joseph! I bought the fabric in local online store, but this fabric is very rare here, so the selection is not that great 😔
What was the brand of this pair of scissors again? 😃
I love your video, I will try this one very soon, I love polos. What type of fabric do you suggest for a polo shirt?
Do you stretch the fabric a little when you sew the sleeve in ?
Hi
Thank you for everything
I have a question
For distance top of shoulder you put 5 c.m it seems excessive
Thanks for a very nice tutorial, but i'm having trouble measuring myself or even the shirt i want to copy, and a consistent size chart with the same measure points you use seems to be non existent, do you happen to know what the measurements for a regular medium sized mens polo would be?
For shrinking
Do you do that for client's garment?
Wow this is cool, looks hard though
Thank you very much
Very helpful
Glad to hear this, Juliet!
It is very nice and a good job
masha Allah

Hello Janice! Could you let me know what video part you’re referring to? I will check exact time and will let you know what was used there!🤗
thank you.
Nice one
What kind of fabric did you use for this t-shirt.
Do you have patterns to make a polo rugby shirt?
No, sorry, I don’t 🤗
@@Julija_Gobere ok thanks i had to try
where can I buy Polo fabric?
I tried to write this down on a notepad but my paper is too small 😵💫
im just gonna have to watch the video again
You can also try sewing along with the video - this is the way I like to learn the most! 🤗
That's what I'm doing now but I wanted to see what to do before starting
Mam what type of fabric is that
Good
🎉🎉

White fabric, on a white table, on a white sewing surface using white thread 🤔
I'm not sure I understand how to measure the armhole measurement. It's not so clear
I love your teaches ma, but you wasted much time talking about scissors 😣
The video was sponsored by Kai. It was necessary.
To be fair they do make really good scissors
