I have cancer moon 8th house. I'm an adoptive mom, moon in the house of soul contracts and karmic "debts". Also relate very much to the introvert reclusive moody energy. I think I drive people a little nuts by disappearing periodically, but suddenly, I just need to be alone!
There was this striking moment at the Taylor Swift concert I went to last year in Atlanta. While she performed Marjorie, the song she wrote in memory of her Grandmother, everyone in the audience spontaneously put our phones up, lighting up the stadium. We had little bracelets that lit up for us automatically, but they weren't on for this song, yet we all chose to hold our phones up anyway. The feeling of respect and love was palpable; to me, it felt almost like we were possessed somehow. When Taylor finished the song, she seemed so touched, thanking us for our display of spontaneous kindness. She began to cry, and the audience went wild, roaring with love for her. Our roar went on for a good five minutes, to that point that Taylor was speechless, and regardless she couldn't get a word in over the sound of the audience's love for her. She seemed to break from the stage character, the cute act she puts on, so choked up with emotion she couldn't perform and was scrambling to get back on track. There was something really special about the tenderness and vulnerability of that moment.

I’m am a moon in Cancer rising. Yes to so many of the details you covered. Not shy, but introverted. No matter how hard I try to put myself out there it just can’t last long. Some people may call me reclusive but that is relative. My inner world is rich and vast and I rarely feel alone. I paint, think in poetry and study astrology (with Nightlight, can’t say enough good things about Adam’s program) The moon by nature is reflective, I work to not get lost in that state of mind. My body is sensitive to everything , food , emotions, environment and it shows up on a physical level with my body. I have to work with balance and flow , exposure and retreating within social groups and career. I can feel the change of life’s tides coming with people around me. I have had to learn to allow it all to naturally unfold without interfering. This has caused me to be acutely aware of the present moment, and cultivate a deep gratitude for the people in my life as they show up. Nothing stays the same, and that holds within it a sadness and a beauty.

I'm a cancer moon conjunct my IC, also conjunct my Vesta. I'm a stay-at-home mom and homemaker. I feel like it is my calling and my duty to raise my daughter. A deep sense of purpose with it. All while raising her to be self reliant and strong. So she isn't co dependent on me and I on her♥️

Cancer moon conjunction with Jupiter in the 6th. Since it’s the 6th house of work, I have to believe in the work and people I work with and for--working in healthcare has been a massive challenge in the last 5 years as it’s hard to believe in what has become a massive money grab.

Moon in my 3rd house in Cancer. You're accurate about ancestry and sentimental attachments to objects like old family photographs and stories. As an artist and writer, I've chronicled my own family history while drawing inspired by others who share my cultural background. Unfortunately, my relationship with my mother is somewhat strained. There was always a lack of parental affection and I never really felt loved by her. This may be a learned behavior, but it has resulted in me becoming highly independent and very private. I think the need to explore my roots and family legacy through creative outlets, coupled with an emotionally distant upbringing
has shaped my interpersonal style from this lunar placement.

My moon is the same degree as her own except in my case it’s shacked up in the fifth house with mars.
REALLY connected with the moody, personal, romantic, nature-based, reclusive (I'm a woman!), protective and private description of this placement and also the love of history, ancestry and archaeology. I'm also an amateur nature photographer (landscapes with atmostpheric lighting) so loved what you said about Henry David Thoreau! The only side of this placement I've never really connected to is being a caregiver to people or needing to be needed. For some reason that doesn't show up in my personality (except towards animals). However I have received a lot of nurturing from the MANY maternal figures in my life- from my mother to my grandmothers, to my great grandmother and even bosses at work. So I think it makes so much sense. My Moon is in the 10th, Balsamic Phase and with my Cancer Sun and Mercury.
I'm a Cancer/Moon, Cap/Sun and Sag/Rising. I'm definitely the mom at work. Several of my coworkers do call me mom. I can also be either disconnectedly cold or aggressively emotional. I also definitely inherited the martyr side of cancer, partly because it's also my mother's Sun sign. So we also have experienced a lot of love/hate moments.

Having a stellium in Cancer …Venus, Mercury, Saturn, and the Sun, as an Aries Rising (Natural house placements) I completely understand what you are saying about Cancer Moon Characters and theme having a few family members with Cancer Moon I agree that Cancer can take on the earthy romantic, “Mother Earth” qualities. In hellenistic astrology (the type of astrology on this channel), we don't do the thing with "natural house placement"
Aries is not the 1st house, Taurus is not the 2nd house etc except only for Aries asc ppl
So there is no natural house placement for the signs, but there are houses associated with the 7 traditional planets (rejoicing planets)

Astounding information Adam. Thank you. Five degrees cancer moon in 8th house. Tough but necessary work in self healing and recovery from constantly experiencing emotional rollercoaster moments. The house where Scorpio lives feels like an eternal battle of your shadows within.
Moon in Cancer 4th house conjunct IC. I could relate to everything Adam talked about here. He has such a beautiful and deep way of depicting Astrology. I feel so seen 🤗. Currently a stay at home Mom of 3 little ones of whom I will be starting homeschooling next year. Before becoming a Mother I worked as a caretaker in Hospice care, hospital and nursing homes. Always been nurturing by nature. Love cooking for people. A very dedicated wife and Mother who is working towards and learning homesteading skills. My main goal in life seems to have unfolded out to be to do my best to foster a healthy loving relationship with my kids throughout life and to raise them with necessary life skills, physically mentally and spiritually. With the main intention for them find meaning and purpose in their lives. I'm a 9th house Sagittarius sun too so there is deeply spiritual meaning for me to all of it as well. I’m a cancer moon / whole sign 9h. My mother raised me in an extremely religious/christian setting~ very 9h.
I am also a Pisces sun / Scorpio rising and feel a lot of my water sign qualities get muddled between the signs, could be my grand water trine but sometimes it’s hard to differentiate what’s causing the actions. For example my scorpions ascendant makes me very secretive. And the romanticism- very Piscean also. I assume the water qualities cross between the signs.
Also for reference I am known as everyone’s “work mom” cause of natural tendency to “Mother” aka nurture everyone around me. I am a server of course- comes with ease

also wanted to add another celebrity cancer moon who happens to front my favourite band, Evanescence: Amy Lee 🖤 i feel she has a similar quality to T Swift regarding songwriting and capturing the spirit of the moment in a timeless and feminine way. she’s also quite reclusive in that she took 6 years away from the public after releasing Evanescence’s sophomore album before releasing their third one - which i consider their best (also is Amy’s saturn return album!). and then another 10 years between that album and their most recent one

Absolutely agree with these themes! I have a stellium in Cancer in the 2nd so night chart with sun, moon, mercury, and chiron. My mom is also a Cancer moon and became a single mom when my dad died of cancer, my sister and I were 4 & 6. I have struggled so much with my codependent relationship to my mom, who is ultimately a very traumatized and emotionally immature person. She loves me in her way but it's not a way that I want to be loved. 💔

Plus my mother has her Sun, Ascendant and Saturn in Cancer. Something I just noticed that feels significant is I have a moon in Pisces and my mother has her MC in Pisces. Also my mothers sun in cancer is conjunct my IC in Cancer. Cool stuff!! 😃
8th house Cancer moon. 7th house Gemini Sun, Mercury , Mars south node is Gemini with a Sagittarius asc. I have to be very careful not to get played by narcissists. A fifth house Venus in Taurus doesn't help. With a Scorpio Saturn
