I'm a landscaper currently. Tough guy kind of job, rough on footwear. But I've been a barista. And a chef. And I've done IT. I've needed high quality, supportive boots all along. I watch these videos on TV, so I guess I don't see the comments often enough to have experienced the gatekeeping you referenced in the vid, but wow, if that happens, it's so petty. Also, for me, the extra time the 10 inch boots take to lace is worth it to me, because, have I mentioned the bad knees? Oh, and I'm 6'2", with those bad knees..
As someone who’s just recently dropped that fat stack on a pair of custom builder pros, who also went with the double rough out (for virtually exactly the same reasons) I went into this video really hoping I’d made the right choice, and I’m so glad I did the year or so worth of research before dropping $1300 on them (exchange rate plus postage) because if they’ll last me more or less the rest of my life, that’s an investment rather than a purchase Keep up the great work
Also got a pair of Nicks because of Wranglerstar, and do not regret it, 2 years and upwards of 4000 work hours, they still look brand new and have reached slipper level comfort status. My feet are not going to fit in them for much longer

Sir, this video is amazing! I recently was promoted from delivery driver to counterman at my auto parts store, and my $50 work shoes were NOT ready for the 8 hours of standing behind a counter. I’m on my second pair in two years and they’ve left me wanting. I started a search for the best work boots and slowly discovered the pricier and pricier brands until I landed on Nicks, Whites, and Wesco. After a bit of further digging, I’ve decided on a moderate arch pair of Builder Pros. I think I’m ready to spend the money, and seeing some posts and anecdotes about them, I trust they’ll be worth it. Your video has been helpful in making this decision. I think I’m gonna go with rough black lower(because our uniform requires black shoes) and a smooth reddish brown upper. And I’ll take your advice and aim more for an 8 inch shaft instead of the long 10 inch one. Anyway, I know I’m commenting on a year old video, but I loved seeing how they’ve held up for you for two years in a more physical environment than mine is! Are they still going strong?

All this because of a boot video comment section XD.
First thing that comes to mind is a thin, early 30's goth chick that never realized the 90's ended twenty years ago, and still gets all her outfits from Hot Topic, but got a set of Nick's from her Logger father for Christmas to replace the worn out el-cheapo knock-off combat boots she's been wearing for the past ten years.
I hate to say this but you made me addicted to Nick's Boots!!! After watching your 1st year I bought 1 pair (Builder Pro of course!) And after that ...... 2 more pairs. Thanks Carl! Phenomenal brand, quality and durability.
My Nick’s Overlanders arrived 7 months ago. Best $500 I’ve ever spent. And you’re right about them being the gateway drug to quality leather boots. I’m already thinking about a second pair.
Actually my Brannock size is around 10E. I also went to the local red-wing store and had my feet measured using their 3D scanner. Came out to 10EE. I called Nick’s and talked to a guy and he said 10E should be fine, and he was right. Hope this helps. @@carlitos366
I was initially put off by the price but the quality is there, the repair services extend the life, and they are a solid, moral company. I don't have brand loyalty, I want the best for the needs at hand and I have found a few of their products make the cut.
Laces: (military background here) ever try 550 cord / paracord? We tend to "gut" them (strip out the white internal strands) and... very comfortable with zero bite or dig anywhere. And, at $7-8 for 50ft in a stupid choice in colors (for those allowed a choice), it's damn hard to go wrong. Great video my friend, keep up the great work! "Gateway drug"... Ha!! no joke.
There are many women wearing Nick's boots. Their website is not anywhere near comprehensive, I would recommend calling them and discussing what you are looking for. Guaranteed they can make it happen. =D
They make Women's boots too, just send in a fit sheet and they got you. I think they even have stock boots for women, if you don't want to go through the fit sheet process and wait 3 to 6 months for them to make you a pair.
Your Reviews are the Most In Depth Reviews I’ve Ever Seen Man. I Bought A Leather Bomber Jacket (A-1) Souly on Your Video . Thank You Keep it Up Please
Just got my first pair. Waited 5 months but worth it. Breaking them in now. A pair of Urban Loggers. My Son has been asking me to get a set for a few years. He started with a pair for wild land fire fighting boots. Now he has a few sets and also designed a new style for them. Well, not sure why I waited so long. So glad I did! 😊
Carl, I really appreciate your videos and words. As a guy who’s career went from agriculture and construction to being a Starbucks store manager, I’ve often felt I wasn’t “manly” enough anymore because of my job, a job I’m doing to provide for my family just the same as everyone else. Your words are a great reminder to not let the job or work determine the man, but instead let the amount of work ethic, intentions, and character that go into the work be the defining factors. You’ve inspired this carhartt wearing barista to get the Nicks I’ve been wanting so I can finally stop replacing my Wolverines,Redwings, and Danners (that have been worn down from 8-10 hours of barista work a day and an outdoorsman’s live in the PNW) without caring about being put into the “tough” or “soft” crowd. Thanks for the work you do and the character you back your work up with.
Boots are great for everything! I used to work retail at Lowe's, and I would pretty regularly wear my 6" Merrell hiking boots just for the overall comfort
Thanks for all the great content Carl. You are are the main reason I purchased my Nick's Rangers. It was such an amazing experience going through the fit sheet and try on boots. When my boots finally showed up it was great. The best boots I have ever owned. Now I need a casual pair.
I’m really interested in the Travellers. I work on concrete floors that frequently get hydraulic fluid spilled on them. How are they for slip resistance?
Hats off to you sir! Gate keeping and machismo has no place on our world. I've done everything from sweeping floors, to sandblasting bridges, to QA inspection for an owner. I wish I had high quality footwear throughout all of it.
coming from someone who works in an office, these look stunning and bet they perform even better. would love a pair for myself, even if used just for casual hikes and yard work.
Although I'm not surprised it makes me happy to see this positive review. I'm one of the lucky ones who started wearing Nick's early and haven't worn much else for comparison. (The Carolina type boot that maybe lasted me a year was about it) Definitely agree with the gateway drug thought, so many boots that I want......different leathers, different styles, even the shoe style they carry.....sigh... ;-D
Just got my nicks boots and I've never had a more comfortable boot usually when I break a boot in my toes are getting crushed these boots keep my feet nice and free and they keep my heals locked in place I love them!
I’ve had my Nick’s Hot Shots for almost four years now. I originally wanted a pair of White’s as I got a pair of Bounty Hunters back in 2012 or 2013. I have an office job, but just wore my Nick’s today on a hike up a muddy mountain and they are aging great. But the Nick’s were BY FAR the hardest boot I’ve ever broken in. But now they are AMAZING.
I got my first pair of customized boots from Frank's because of you and Wranglerstar. I was hesitant at first but it has been about 1 year wearing mine and I am glad the money was spent.
Jim Shen I got my first pair from frank’s just last Saturday been wearing them everyday since. I don’t think I am going to be able to go back to my Carolinas.
I've been wearing a pair of danners for about 6 months, and they are very comfortable, but I do wish I had just gone for Nick's in the beginning. But I needed a boot in a couple days and I didn't have the time for a custom boot. Nick's will definitely be my next pair of boots without a doubt
You and Wranglerstar convinced me to get Nick’s boots. I live in Australia and they cost me $1200 AU Dollars an extremely expensive boot but worth every cent

@Clay Pylant not yet but planning on it, the problem me and boss run too is we are worried we kill these boots fast, we wear redwings and I barely get 4 to 5 months out of them, I’m planning on getting a pair before fall and switch back and forth, then after winter get another pair, because that way you can send a pair out for resole or repairs
Great review brother, so far I have worn down 2 pairs of redwings, 1 pair danners and currently using my back up whites, but I have been very interested in getting a pair of Nicks. Thank you for this detailed review, I know the nicks are built like a tank
Hey boss I bought a pair 6 months ago and they are the real deal. Once fully broke in they blow your mind. I have put these boots through everything I come across and sprayed them off with a hose. About to oil for only the second time and they still look new
@@portable_wall9222 They're amazing! Unfortunately I had to send the first pair back twice for warranty ( wrong heel cap, uppers too close). Nick's said they could adjust the uppers again.. Mr. Murowski; I gotta thank you. I've been in manufacturing for a decade and have always ended up chewing through 2 - 3 pairs of work boots every year. (I got wide feet. 10.5 FFF) I saw this video a year ago and finally decided to go for almost these exact boots. It's a whole new world. Mine fit perfectly outa the box, but felt like sitting my feet in boxes of nails. After 2 weeks, though? More comfortable than my $300 Red Wings Moc Toe boots. Now? More comfortable than my fabric top tennis shoes. Cannot overstate how much better these boots are than anything I've ever experienced and I have you to thank for it.
I got my very first pair of Nicks in a week ago, black waxed flesh and to me it’s definitely a casual boot, was a bear to break and still working on them but it’s a phenomenal boot, I am debating on getting the builder pros strictly for work 👍
Dont get pissed You give great videos. Now I'll be getting this boot. I'm 67 and wiegh 260 and still do lawncare . My own business. So I need a boot like this ,Thank You
Best pair of winter work gloves came from a guy that work with the CTA in Chicago. Nice insulation, pig leather palm and reinforcements. Been through a lot and I still have them.
Excellent review. ibew elec. building out data centers, switchgear, and electrical rooms myself. Watch your channel religiously and when the Danners failed, I finally decided to get whites. drove back out from seattle to spokane to pick them up and stopped at nick's after watching your original video. Got a pair of builder pros in chestnut/honey. Excellent build quality and you're not lying about the break in. Broke a tooth first thing in the morning (excruciating) and didn't even remember because my feet were hurting so bad by chow. Keep up the quality content!
IBEW electrician here as well And mostly thanks to this video and being sick of shitty boots that fall apart every year, I put in my order for nicks builder pros a couple days ago. Just waiting in my fit sheet.
I’ve been a Nicks fan for years and I don’t bother telling people anymore because no one listens to me. Like you said you have to experience it for yourself, and all people see and all people wanna hear is how expensive they are. It’s either pay me now or pay me later... and if I want something to last I’ll spend the extra money for the quality. Awesome review glad to see that you’re a Nicks fan too.
My pair was pretty comfortable out of the box, obviously there were some break in issues (arches, where the lower meets the upper, ankle bend) but I was able to wear them for a full day after just 2 or 3 days of 4 hours of wear. Amazing boots!
Just got my builder pros in the mail and I started to lace the right boot. The brand new leather lace broke! I’d love to see a video on boot laces. Ways to lace, aftermarket boot laces and your take on those brands. Absolutely impressed with the Nicks build quality and I can’t wait to break them in. For the record I called nicks and they sent me out a new set of laces at no charge. Can’t wait to get them in so I can get to breaking them in.
Great review. I work in the bank but watching your videos i dress like a work guy sometimes.. lol I finally got my pair in natural waxed flesh, they look and foot amazing. I have been buying boots in size 7.5 or 8 D in most of the brands red wing, danner etc. Nicks sent me the boots 9.5 B !!! Woohoooo! Reality, they are the best footing boots i got i mho. Great company. 👍🏻
@@MrStreetninja007 all were hard to break in, the easiest was jk boots, but I think that’s because they used a thinner leather, but I could be wrong it just feels more supple. To me they have similar construction. The whites I have are hand welted which I really like tough, I like whites for their faster manufacturing, still made in the USA, and fair prices, I would go through Baker’s in Eugene Oregon
Got my builder pros 5 weeks ago and let me tell you I have had no brake in at all. 1964 easy break in and extra thick honey vibram soles. Crazy I know but none at all! Got over 50 miles of hiking at 9,000 ft in the Rockies they are perfect!

These boots are awesome. I’m a diesel mechanic and I just purchased a pair of Carolina logger style boots to try out. My first 8 inch top boot this style. So far I like it.
A year ago I was looking for a new boot and saw your review. I bought a pair based on your recommendation. I have the same boot with the exception that I have smooth leather on the upper and I bought a 2" shorter boot. OMG, these are my favorite boots. I have a small hobby farm that I work on on the weekends. These boots will last me the rest of my life. If you're thinking about getting a pair from Nick's, spend the extra for the fitting. It's so worth it. Since then I've bought a more dress like boot using the same fitting. I'm sold.

Ordered a pair of builder pros with some knowledge thanks to your reviews. I did the fit guide and try on pair as well. Great channel! Still waiting on mine as of now.
When I first started working it was at a discount tire in Minnesota. Not all the way in the elements but definitely not inside. I was broke so I got a pair of Walmart boots. I ran through em real fast so I got Walmart steel toes and they were SOOOO much better. Then the steel toe started to be loose and my grandma saw a pair of caterpillar boots for $60 and got me them so I didn’t keep buying $25 boots. The cats had the toe ripped out in 2 months. My stepdad showed me where redwing shoes were so I got some nice steel toe boots that lasted me a year and I got another pair of big thick winter steel toe boots. I had to kick metal pedals and every other boots had the toe showing after a week or two. These new ones have another layer on the toes and they’re barely scuffed. I was gonna buy a pair of nicks but I didn’t want to spend $500 on a pair of boots and destroy the toes that wear at the same rate as $200 boots. Once I get into the work after I get done with school for the pipefitters I’m definitely getting a pair of nicks with redwings as backups. I do have to say my grandpa got me a pair of Rocky Mountain boots in 8th grade big enough to grow into and now they fir perfectly and they are the best winter boots and hunting boots I’ve had. I’ve fallen through ice and I’ve worn them for every winter since I got em so now 5 years and they’re still perfect, the toes are composite and they’re tall and super insulated and I haven’t found a boot as good as them. My burton snowboarding boots aren’t even that insulated for the cold weather. When we hit -60 my toes were nice and toasty in em
Chippewa man for 25 years but now they are no longer made in the good ole USA. Once I wear out all of my current boots I'm definitely going to try a pair of these!! I live in my Chippewas it's all I wear so I'm excited to try a set of Nick's.. great video my man well presented
I'm a tin knocker and I've tried Bull Run Moc Danners (lasted 8 months) Thorogood (13 months) and now I'm trying Red Wings 2233 which feel the sturdiest. I'm thinking of trying some of these high end work boots. I respect your opinion and will eventually pull the trigger on these.
2:50 I like this part. Although since I don't work in anything phisical I just stay away from certain footwear. I'd love to have a Logger though, but I can see that it's not the most ideal for a lot of walking in concrete which is what I do the most.
I bought my 10" Builder Pro's late last year. I work in IT so I don't wear them for work, but I wanted something that would support my very high arches while I work in my shop (woodworking and blacksmithing) in the evenings and weekends. I also do tree removal volunteer work after hurricanes/tornadoes in the Southeast and I got tired of dealing with cheap (or expensive) Chinese boots. The custom fit is absolutely the way to go. I had a couple of small issues with the boots they sent for fitting and when, at long last, I got my boots, those issues had been taken care of. The break-in was not that bad and it wasn't long before these became the most comfortable footwear I've ever owned. They are indeed a gateway drug. I now have a pair of Roberts and if I ever do wear either one out, I will be buying more.
I feel the only way they can improve it is by making more so the price becomes lower. It Seems like the price maybe the only negative about it. But I guess that could sacrifice the quality as well. Great video as always sir. Thank you for making it.
Nicks charge more because of the brand, reputation, and people are willing to pay that cost. I personally prefer the Whites or Drews Boots. Drews boots are easily 100 dollars cheaper, and they are awesome. That being said, Nicks are still really good boots, but I'd go with Wesco, Whites, or Drews for the cheaper price.
I dont work construction anymore but i wish a had a pair of these when i did. Now that i dont i got a pair nicks. Never had em when i shouldve had em 😢
I love wearing my nicks boots i have the ranger 55 in black boot they are just the best footwear I've ever put on i literally wear them almost every day
Just got my Builder pros today and have worn them 4 hours. Felt so good I did not want to take them off. Update. I have now had my Nicks for 6 months. Fully broke in. I wear them for everything. The smooth upper fits nicely under pants legs and the Vibram sole has little wear. I would have went with an 8 inch vs 10 but apart from that I would change nothing.
I'll never have a pair of those because I don't NEED a boot that's that robust. That being said, the Builder Pros look like the ultimate boot. The construction looks insane and I bet the durability is off the charts.
Wore my first pair of Nick's on the job today. I bought them in 2005, and they're still quite capable. I have other pairs now, but both my oldest pairs are still good-they could use tongue replacements, but have been resoled a time or two each. They've got some more life in 'em. Because I wear them so much it took about three years to break in my newest pair, but they're nearly fully broken-in now. I'm a surveyor and woodsman.
I’m a pizza delivery man and I’m getting a pair simply because I enjoy boots, I cannot wait for mine to arrive

As someone who’s just recently dropped that fat stack on a pair of custom builder pros, who also went with the double rough out (for virtually exactly the same reasons) I went into this video really hoping I’d made the right choice, and I’m so glad I did the year or so worth of research before dropping $1300 on them (exchange rate plus postage) because if they’ll last me more or less the rest of my life, that’s an investment rather than a purchase
Keep up the great work
Where were you that exchange rate was so much? You in Australia?
Also got a pair of Nicks because of Wranglerstar, and do not regret it, 2 years and upwards of 4000 work hours, they still look brand new and have reached slipper level comfort status.
My feet are not going to fit in them for much longer
What do you mean? They are so perfect why wouldn't your feet fit anymore bud?
@@pixxburgh420 because he's getting heavier.
Can we all just agree the baristas are in the hardest work environment? I'm certain most loggers or iron miners never have to deal with wild Karens...
Oh man, Wild Karens are the worst!!!
True
to quote Bane, it's a different kind of torture. "Not of your body... Of your soul"
what are wild karen’s and baristas? I’m confused
@@hollowapex3871 Karen's are stuck up people, who tend to go to cafes. Baristas are the people who make coffee, and tend to work at cafes/Starbucks - places you'd see a Karen
JK super duty are excellent as well!
I’m a bartender and wear these. 12-13 hour shifts on on my feet with no breaks. They’re the real deal.
Are they not too heavy ?? Greetings from France
@@benewgillian6823 no
No breaks? Why are you allowing a business to break the law? Thats illegal, 30 min paid lunch is law. As well as 2x 15 min breaks.
@@mixetube1116 you mean to tell me....... the 30 minute lunch is supposed to be paid for? There is supposed to be 2 15 minute breaks paid for?! I've been working in a cabinet shop for 3 years, had to work from 7:30 am to 4 pm at the beginning but we were only getting paid for 8 hours of work as our lunch time wasnt paid for and we never got 15 minute breaks lest we wanted to be there till like 4:30 to 5. I Basically cut out the lunch and started at 6:30 because if im only getting paid for 8, ill only be there for 8. I already hated my job but now i am questioning life choices. All this because of a boot video comment section XD.
A barista in Nick's pro boots lmao thatd be awesome!
My buddy is a barista in the urban loggers. He’s a trust-fund hipster so it makes sense
Anyone that is hard on boots this is a no brainer. Quality is remembered long after price is forgotten
Just flew out to nicks boots from LA on Saturday was a good experience ended up purchasing two pairs can’t wait
I hate to say this but you made me addicted to Nick's Boots!!! After watching your 1st year I bought 1 pair (Builder Pro of course!) And after that ...... 2 more pairs.
Thanks Carl! Phenomenal brand, quality and durability.
Welcome to the addiction my friend! Sounds like you have one helluva collection started!
My Nick’s Overlanders arrived 7 months ago. Best $500 I’ve ever spent. And you’re right about them being the gateway drug to quality leather boots. I’m already thinking about a second pair.
I've been thinking about getting the overlander. Did you go half a size down from your brannock size for the overlander?
Actually my Brannock size is around 10E. I also went to the local red-wing store and had my feet measured using their 3D scanner. Came out to 10EE. I called Nick’s and talked to a guy and he said 10E should be fine, and he was right. Hope this helps. @@carlitos366
I was initially put off by the price but the quality is there, the repair services extend the life, and they are a solid, moral company. I don't have brand loyalty, I want the best for the needs at hand and I have found a few of their products make the cut.
I'm a railcar repairman. And I'll be buying new boots by the end of the year. Nicks sounds good to be. Thanks Carl!
Ha!! no joke.
YES! Thats totally the way to go, though I never gutted it before. Thats a great call!
Good to see an update on these. I want to get some if they ever make women’s boots
they do
There are many women wearing Nick's boots.
Why would you?
Anna looks like the picture that comes with the frame...(that's a compliment btw, I don't want to trigger anyone)
Your Reviews are the Most In Depth Reviews I’ve Ever Seen Man. I Bought A Leather Bomber Jacket (A-1) Souly on Your Video . Thank You Keep it Up Please
Thank you my friend!! Which brand did you go with? I'd love to see it.
U should go back to construction. Starbucks is the devil. Research their logo and go from there.
I’m so glad to hear that man!!! This is the reason to make videos
Currently sporting a pair of Nick's Travelers thanks to your previous reviews. Now I'm preparing to purchase the Americanas. Darn you Karl!
Haha, I'm not even sorry! Enjoy them!
Best footwear review I have seen out of about 500 vids in 15 yrs. Good job. Just like Nick's boots...beyond awesome.
I like Carl attitude of not letting his ego get in the way , just giving you humble honest reviews 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Quality counts. I have been wearing my Danner Mt Lights for 30 years and 8 re-soles.
Thats insane!
coming from someone who works in an office, these look stunning and bet they perform even better. would love a pair for myself, even if used just for casual hikes and yard work.
I have a pair of Nick's firefighter loggers and love them!! Definitely worth the money!
Bro that gatekeeping rant was wholesome as fuck. Love to see it man. (someone who's done everything from Rigging Tech to Disability Care)
@@foxhound3877 and next thing you know....you are getting a second pair...be careful
I’ve been seriously considering a pair of these. I think I’m done clomping around in $200 boots that don’t last.
absolutely go for it. im currently saving up for a pair of urban loggers, since i dont need to do super tough work yet.
I love this guy, I’m going to figure out how to get these, I get 6 months out of boots, redwings, and others, never heard of these till now, thanks guy
About to oil for only the second time and they still look new
After 3 pairs of uncomfortable redwings I finally pulled the trigger on a pair of nicks last week.
Congrats man!!!!
@@CarlMurawski Thanks! I'm getting full roughout chocolate rangers.
@@B_waddup how did they turn out?
@@portable_wall9222 They're amazing! Unfortunately I had to send the first pair back twice for warranty ( wrong heel cap, uppers too close). Nick's said they could adjust the uppers again.. They surprised me with a new pair of boots. Definitely worth the wait though. Most comfortable boots I've ever worn!
Mr. Murowski;
I gotta thank you.
Cannot overstate how much better these boots are than anything I've ever experienced and I have you to thank for it.
carl you had me at hello.. every word youve said in this video resonates to my core. we are cut from the same cloth
I ordered the builder pros in walnut smooth upper rough out lower with composite toe with the fire sole
I love the gatekeeping rant! No room for Macho crap is right! Good on you for saying it so dang well.
Awesome!!! Good to see another sparky in some decent boots out there. Enjoy brother!
IBEW electrician here as well And mostly thanks to this video and being sick of shitty boots that fall apart every year, I put in my order for nicks builder pros a couple days ago. Just waiting in my fit sheet.
Gotta say I was surprised not to see you using the speed-lacing method. Great video as usual. Definitely a gateway drug.
I only recently learned that method! Definitely feels like I've been missing out.
Your dead on either way. The 10-inch is a process.
BRO. YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING SPECIAL HERE.
THANKS A LOT.
Thank you man!
“I’d wear through them boots in a month “ works in a wear house 😂
I’ve been a Nicks fan for years and I don’t bother telling people anymore because no one listens to me. Like you said you have to experience it for yourself, and all people see and all people wanna hear is how expensive they are. It’s either pay me now or pay me later... and if I want something to last I’ll spend the extra money for the quality.
Awesome review glad to see that you’re a Nicks fan too.
I love your comment on the gatekeepers. So true. And im glad you are doing this video. Thank you
Local 1 elevator constructor in NYC and I bought red wing Moc boots they lasted me less than 8 months….Def looking into these
My pair was pretty comfortable out of the box, obviously there were some break in issues (arches, where the lower meets the upper, ankle bend) but I was able to wear them for a full day after just 2 or 3 days of 4 hours of wear.
No way!!
Surprised when I heard you said yours are composite toes. Really doubted Nicks gave that option.
Love the look. Thanks for the review.
Franks boots, JK boots, Whites, all amazing companies I own several pairs of each company including Nicks.
Which you like the most all similar I find
Use the speed laces right and your boot lacing will go much faster... lace one all the way up and then lace the other
Retired from the Trades 20 years ago Carpenter loved it wish I'd known about those Boots. Looking at the Americana if they come in rough out might replace My red wing muleskinners
These boots are awesome. I’m a diesel mechanic and I just purchased a pair of Carolina logger style boots to try out. My first 8 inch top boot this style. So far I like it.
I've been seen your video many times trying to convince my self to get a pair of one of those expensive workboots, and I think I'm gonna buy them..
I'm sold.
Hello Carl. I like your channel and your Boot Video very much. One of my special is this. Awesome Builder Pro Boots! It is possible, to describe your configuration for your style in this Nick‘s Boots ? I would like buy a couple. Thanks for your support 👍
Over 9 years I have put 2 pairs of whites and 1 of nicks to bed. I was a firefighter, tree planter forestry worker. Great boots all.
103 guy? Great review, great boots. True mass style, no bs 💪🏼
Agree 100%. Once you have really good quality boots there's no going back to inferior pairs.
Nicks are addictive for sure. Can’t be beat for comfort and fit.,
Ordered a pair of builder pros with some knowledge thanks to your reviews. I did the fit guide and try on pair as well. Great channel! Still waiting on mine as of now.
watching this over and over again so that I didn't missed any important point for when my builder pro arrives.
Someday… I will order some of these.
When you dont know you have boots on your boots are perfect. Im ordering Nicks A.S.A.P
. thanks.
Love my Builder Pros in 1964 leather . I wear them elk hunting , clean them up and wear them everyday to the office as a mortgage loan officer
2:50 I like this part. Although since I don't work in anything phisical I just stay away from certain footwear. I'd love to have a Logger though, but I can see that it's not the most ideal for a lot of walking in concrete which is what I do the most.
I have no business wearing these - I'm a teacher - but I will inevitably pull the trigger quite soon. I'll be a smiling buffoon :)
Nah, wear what you like! I wear these at the desk sometimes and nobody ever said a word.
Hey Carl,
i aprecciate all your work. Your Reviews are literally perfect. Helps so much for a decision.
Thank you so much! That’s exactly what I strive for.
Awesome my pair of builder pros went into production a week ago im excited
Wrangler star has a boot lacing quick guide you should check out. It make lacing even the tallest boots fast. Been doing it that way my whole life.
I love Wranglerstar, but he has a HUGE library....
I'll never have a pair of those because I don't NEED a boot that's that robust. That being said, the Builder Pros look like the ultimate boot. The construction looks insane and I bet the durability is off the charts.
I'm 3 weeks into my builder pros. I do love them but breaking them in is no joke
Did you get a custom fit?
Wore my first pair of Nick's on the job today. I bought them in 2005, and they're still quite capable. I have other pairs now, but both my oldest pairs are still good-they could use tongue replacements, but have been resoled a time or two each. They've got some more life in 'em. Because I wear them so much it took about three years to break in my newest pair, but they're nearly fully broken-in now. I'm a surveyor and woodsman.
Just ordered my black Builder Pros. Thanks for the reviews!
Cool channel man, I liked your comments about everyone out there working at the beginning! Humans are crazy! Thanks for the video
Thanks for watching!
