Thanks for reviewing this one. I have very similar skin to you - am almost 43, combo-dry, small wrinkles and lots of pores. Similar skin tone but I’m more in the neutral-warm side. And I’m forever on the HG foundation and primer quest. So you can imagine how happy I was to find you. There’s seriously a shortage in 40 something beauty channels. I’ve wondered about synchro skin for ages, disappointing that it didn’t really do well. I’m currently having success with Laura Mercier oil-free tinted moisturiser, I mix Porcelain with Nude. Light but very smoothing and long wearing coverage.
I get so giddy when I see your foundation review videos pop up on my feed 🤗 I've been interested in this foundation for awhile, and you just sold me on it!
It's really pretty! I haven't put it through the ringer yet but my sense is that it is going to play nice with other products - so I bet it is one that I'll be able to bump up the grade by finding the primer it likes best or the powder it likes best, something like that.
Shiseido is what started my love of Japanese beauty products- back in the early 80's. Shiseido had the only foundation available with a golden undertone back then. Shiseido is also the parent company of my beloved Cle de Peau- CdP is Shiseido's luxury line.
You're not imagining things - judging by some online photos, the bottle is supposed to look a little bendy. I really loved, surprisingly considering it's on the more matte end of the spectrum, the finish on this one. Really pretty. Wonder what it'd look like set with the Milani glowy powder?? Hmmmm. This is one that I can actually get locally (shock, horror!) thanks to our 1 kinda-posh department store - and I'm so tempted to see if I can get samples of the lightest cool & neutral versions. It's not cheap (at abt equal to US$54 here, and my self imposed limit is = to US$50) but it's not the most expensive I've seen either, and I wouldn't have to pay shipping/postage, which is quite a saving, so if I timed it with a really good sale, I might be onto a winner. Thanks for doing this one Shelly - it's nice to see one, a good one at that, that not everyone else on YT is talking about.
I would definitely get some samples because I have a feeling this is going to be one that plays well with other products. I haven't done my full-on experiments yet but it's a very nice formula and I sense it will mix well with various primers/powders/oils.
Yeah bronzer party!! :-D I've never seen anything like this brow powder brush and I am loving it! It's somehow super precise which is making me experiment with brow shapes (which actually could be disastrous since I can't draw to save my life) but it's also fluffy enough to lay down powder without it looking harsh. There was definitely some research and development involved in making it!
Thanks, Francie! I think it's one that will be even better once I figure out which primer or powder it likes. When something wears as well as this one does, it's worth a little figuring out :-D
Wow! What a wonderful video. After watching many beauty videos I truly think you have become my go to for everything related to beauty. Thanks so much for your hard work.
I knew being opinionated would pay off some day! :-D Honestly, this is all so much fun to have people to share the love of makeup with. I look forward to hanging out in the comments every day!
My sister wants to try this. I like that your bake to reapply more after the first application. I like it with the sponge. Your right it’s a medium coverage. Fabulous looking in you. So maybe moisturizing before helps if you have dry skin. Love ❤️ this foundation on you. Excellent review. Stay fabulous and enjoy your weekend. Aloha 🌺
This is my favourite foundation of all time! have 49 yr old combo skin ...only prob is I have the rose 2 and that’s the lightest cool tone here in Australia..last’s all day and looks fantastic...thanks for another detailed great review 👌 (also you have not lost your mind the bottle does lean to the side 😉)
Very pretty foundation on you...held up well for the number of hours worn...also, like your new brow product...looks really nice. Must still be cold in Va., with a sweater on..turned our air on this week..
Another one that was on my list to try! Yes!! Thank you for another great review, Shelly! You're saving me time, money and frustration. Oh...almost forgot. At one point your cat was facing the wall just staring at it. I don't know why but "nobody puts baby in the corner" came to mind. 😀 Have a great wkend! ~Jacquie
Hmmm...I have a appointment at the Shiseido counter tomorrow, I don't know whether to be relieved with your conclusion or disappointed. Maybe I will grab a sample instead of dropping the cash, as I was thinking I will finally pick up the Ysl All Hours while Im out. I just got the Kevyn Aucoin Etherealist Foundation and wore it for the first time today. It's very interesting Shelly! It's different than any other foundations I have tried and visibly nearly undetectable on the skin. I was suprised at the coverage and how little I used, which was a relief as it cost $70 CAN before tax 😥 It started out quite sticky, but after letting it sit and then setting with the Laura Gellar it set down lovely. I dont know, I have to play around with it, but so far I am really happy with it. I got a deluxe sample of Tom Ford lipstick with my last order and it was horrible! It has that oldish lipstick smell and I swear it was more than half faded off after a couple minutes wear. Pigmentation was not good. I doubt I would drop $70 on a single lips product anyway, but that was worse than drugstore lipstick. I do not see what all those UA-camrs are raving about with that stuff. Anyway, have a great weekend Lady! Im learning how to tan animal hides tomorrow. whoop! Xo
I just filmed the Kevyn Aucoin yesterday :) I won't spoil it but it was very nice! I think that review will kick off the foundation mega-fest - I'm thinking June 8-22. The Shiseido is pretty too. I'd probably go with the KA between the two - but I think the Shiseido is going to bump up on my list once I find its favorite primer/powder. I almost got that Tom Ford lip sample and then I changed my mind. I'm already sucked into too many high end brands lol.... though I did just order the beautiful new Marc Jacobs blush. I can't believe I did that. Things like blush are like..... whyyyyyyyy when I have drugstore ones that I LOVE. I can't stop. Pretty things!!!!
Geek Out of Water Oh don't feel bad, I got the ND Diamond and Blush Palatte during the Rouge sale-that is now the most expensive blush in my collection. Blush makes my stomach do butterflies. High end or drugstore it doesn't matter, I love them all! Blush, highlight, and foundation, bronzer, and setting powders are my top 5 makeup obsessions. Give me a drugstore mascara, liner, and brow product any day, as long as I get fancy, pretty powders and foundation for my face 😉 I also collect highend eyeshadow palettes that look beautiful on my vanity and make great paperweights, because 9 times out of 10 I throw bronzer in my crease and fancy up the lid and inner corner with some blush and highlight. I want the ND Star palette, but I worry I won't use it.
I've been looking forward to your opinion on this one! I think you had a great make-up day; it all looked beautiful. I have issues with my smile lines, too. I need some movable spackle for those and my deep forehead lines! lol I'd like to hear how this foundation plays with the Tatcha. And most of all, what you think of the Tatcha vs your beloved Strivectin(that I STILL haven't broken down and bought). Thanks for the review, as always, Shelly!
Hi Jeanne! I've used the Tatcha twice now, and while it doesn't blur my smile lines/forehead lines as well as the StriVectin, it seems to blur texture for longer. My next experiment is going to be SO extra... putting the Tatcha around my face texture areas and the StriVectin on my deeper lines. :-D
I think the color of your brows looks gorgeous - love this entire look! I wonder if mine separated (I got it last July) because it doesn't apply as well. I also just got their jar foundation and I'm not sure how I feel; I had tried a sample (wrong color) and it looked amazing but I can't get the full size to wear the same and I don't know why. Oh, I also love your earrings :)
Thanks, Jen! You know, sometimes I wonder if sample formulas can be different or if smaller amounts behave differently in sample packaging - because I have had that happen more than once where I love a sample and then when I buy the full size it doesn't perform the same.
Geek Out of Water Boo, you're right! It looks like the Burberry foundation might be discontinued as well. All seven shades are OOS on the Sephora site. Womp womp! 😂
Ooooh I'd love to hear how it goes, Susan! I think I have a Mally foundation in my bin. There are so many...I have 17 high end foundations waiting to be reviewed! Not even counting the drugstore bin.... I'm going to do a Foundation Mega-Fest June 8-22 I think will be the dates :)
Another great review.....I've been wondering about this one, and have never seen a review. I do have that dry, mature skin so I think it's a pass for me, however, I honestly did think it looked great on you after such a long wear time.
Yeah I'd definitely do a sample first - it's going to be borderline for dry/mature skin. Now I want to try the Glow version of this, but Sephora only has the darker shades which usually means either it is being discontinued or Sephora is going to stop carrying it.
I always try to guess what grade your going to give a foundation by your descriptions and experience with it. It's a little game I play with myself. LOL Enjoyed this video so much. Thanks Shelly!
Shelly, the makeup looks fantastic on your skin! Wish the brand was cruelty free. 😢 Have to ask, do you moisten your beauty blender when applying foundation? I so enjoy your videos! I look forward to watching many more! René
Hahaha! I love that slight curve on Sheseido packaging. But it is a mind-bleep* 🤯 Also, your skin looked smooooooth in that close up right after application.
Anxious to hear about the Tatcha primer and what foundation you will use with it. I have it and love the feel but so far have not found the right foundation for it.
Me too! LOL I've used it twice now but on days when I'm doing a concealer/powder-only face :-D The satin finish is so pretty. I wanted to make sure it wasn't drying on me. It doesn't seem to be, so it will move into rotation soon!
I'm super-hoping I can get the KVD anniversary train case tomorrow - I want the anniversary brush set! Well, I want it all.... :-D KVD brushes are so good. I wish she had a larger variety of eye brushes.
Her setting powder brush might be my favorite brush of all brushes in the world (rivaled only by the Wayne Goss #3 eye brush). If I could only have those 2 and the rest cheap brushes, it would still be worth it. I also have the foundation and concealer brushes, which I like for the shape (they're "edge" brushes, not the usual).
I am so loving the brow brush! It's such an unusual mix of precision and nice brow powder blur depending which way you hold it. I love one tool to rule them all....
I'm excited I just found you. I just turned 44, been to BronyCon w/my Brony since it came to Baltimore. My daughter is now a furry and is going to a furry convention this summer. I live south of Annapolis, MD. I have my nose pierced, my coloring, including natural hair match you, I have green eyes & dye my hair a rainbow of colors often & I'm guessing we are prob the same size. I feel I finally found someone who when a review is done I can honestly relate too, as I didn't think it was possible to find someone so close to myself in soooo many ways. I do have a question, do you have a summer tutorial? We live in a very humid area & I would like to look nice but not sweat my makeup off or have my makeup cause me to sweat making it look like crap.
Welcome, Yvonne! Ha we'd totally be hanging out if we were in close proximity :-D I haven't done a summer video before but I added it to my list! I'm pre-filming the next couple weeks so that I'll have videos to post while I'm traveling this summer and I need ideas! lol.
If you're going to mix the foundation, don't bother with the Kevin Aucoin beauty oil. The screw top fell completely apart the second time I unscrewed it! Also, I just discovered LA Girl micro brow pencils at CVS -- and they don't have a red undertone! I got brunette and espresso.
Have either of you tried the NYX microbrow pencils? I have one & love it. Our Walgreens has a huge NYX display. It's a double sided large island full of most of their products. They come in quite a few colors as I need a pretty dark brunette shade Maybe I'll say screw it and just use the new Kat Von D products to color your brows fun colors. Maybe I'll match it to my new pink hair, lol.
Also I find YSL touché eclat foundation is great - light medium flawless coverage, a little glow (more satin matte than wet dewy) and quite hydrating. Never looks dry on me, which is a very rare thing. Have you tried it?
I got up at 6am and the signed train case/vault was already sold out! But I was able to get the empty train case on Sephora's app, and also ordered the lipstick, eyeshadow palette, highlight, and the Trooper liner. I would've got the whole vault if I could've gotten the signed one, but I held off on the brush set buying them individually since I already have most of the brushes. Of course, Sephora is famous for sending "out of stock" notices after orders are already placed, so I will be holding my breath until I see a shipping notification!
Geek Out of Water Aww that is too bad. 😥 If anyone deserves to have that it would be You... you always support her brand 💯. Sounds like you got a lot of good stuff though! And Hopefuly you receive everything you picked out. I can't wait to see how you like everything 😃 Have a great Saturday!!
Thanks for asking, Kira! Yes, I do have a conscience, and have addressed my stance on supporting cruelty free companies and transitioning to a fully cruelty free status in my personal purchasing habits many times on this channel. Feel free to catch up, and once you have, I'd be glad to hear your revised comments! Have a wonderful day!
I like your brows. This is a top one for me but I have some issues, that lid is a nightmare to get back on. I have to mix the first 2 colors to get the right shade (I am a little more yellow than you and prefer neutral shades) but I deal with it because I love the way it looks on me. It looks great on you! It also always cakes in my eyebrow area but that is the only problem because I can wear it for 20 hours (I am in the medical world so that's a thing for me) and people always complement my skin when I wear it.
Thanks, Robin! I definitely want to try the glow version of this because this one wears SO well and looks surprisingly nice on dry skin considering. Very few foundations hold up over time this well without wearing away!
Well dirt wads. I was really hoping that would be a good one. I think I’m about a shade lighter than you so if you think the lightest is still going to be too dark, then I’m outta luck. The only “high end” foundation that I’ve tried/heard about that I can actually wear is the Clinique Conceal and Cover Foundation.
Yeah it doesn't go super pale on the light end. I haven't swatched the lightest but it looked like a typical 1 shade lighter than this (which would have probably been my correct shade) - so if you're a shade lighter than me, even the lightest may be too dark.
:-) Touche Eclat is better on me that All Hours so you might find a winner there. Ohhh also! Clinique Even Better is worth trying - there’s the new illuminating version but I’ve only tried the original. I would use it every day if the colours worked on me but I found both Alabaster and Ivory oxidised too dark and slightly orange (common issue for Clinique). I hear there’s some lighter new shades now. It goes on like a dream, foolproof kinda, with a natural finish and is non drying.
Hi Heidi! I have and it's very pretty! ua-cam.com/video/G-sZB-jDB2o/v-deo.html I got lucky and got it from Costco - their beauty section has some surprise hits! You just have to check it constantly because they come and go so quickly!
hi, shelly! really a very pretty foundation on you. just a tiny bit darker than what will work when you are pale. when you self tan, do you think it would be a better color match? love friday foundation fest. have a wonderful weekend! ~k
And my middle name is Lynn (spelled the same!) I'm just about falling over because rarely do I find other Shellys... and even more rarely do they spell it without the -ey. Final test to see if you are a unicorn: are you a Michelle? (I am not. My mom disliked nicknames and thought that by naming me a nickname, I would never have a nickname. Colossal failure, as friends called me Hokey based on my last name for a decade or so....) 😂
Have you tried the Shiseido Synchro Glow? It's a more radiant version for dryer skin. You might like it more than the Synchro Skin - same benefits but fewer drawbacks.
No but I definitely want to! Even this one looks so nice on camera. There’s potential here! I will definitely get the glow version next time a sale pops up.
It does not blur pores as much as it blurs lines and texture - just a little bit. I'm getting so extra right now but I've been experimenting with the StriVectin on most of my face, then the Benefit PoreFessional just on my pore areas. I wouldn't get that silly for reviews but it is working quite nicely :-D
I'd say probably a full shade too dark for me at that time of year when I'm fully pale. Probably just about right for my normal not-self-tanning summer color.
I splurged and bought this a few months ago. It did not play nice at all! It felt and looked very drying, accentuated all of the old-agey-bits where I was hoping it would be kind, and what was worse, it cost the equivalent of US$61.26 (yes I really felt the need to add the 26 cents - you can guess the purchase still irks me). No samples here and no returns, sigh.
That is a bummer! Even more so since you can't return it :( those 26 cents add up! Have you tried mixing the Shiseido with anything? I've had success so far mixing it with a couple oil drops. That's all I've tried so far.
TBH I just didn't think of adding oil. I found a home for it with my niece, who is also not overly fond of it alone but mixes it with other foundations. At least it's getting worn.
Random nerd thought here: could you add a fun fact about the product you’re testing ..more often? I love knowing stuff like Shiseido is more than a century old brand... facts and science and data yayay
Since I have over 200 foundations, I have a lot of favorites. It's safe to say that anything that gets a grade of 90 or higher rotates through my favorites - here's the master list of them all and their rankings: geekoutofwater.com/foundation-fest/
I think that one looks beautiful! Your skin is just gorgeous! Whatever you're doing keep doing it!!! When you kept talking about separation from raising your eyebrows, this popped into my head: ua-cam.com/video/1jOk8dk-qaU/v-deo.html
This is just my thoughts and not targeting this video or account. Lately I've been watching a lot of foundation reviews and this is not the first time I heard "It's 2018, but the shade range...." I can't quite understand why beauty brands have to make shades for all skin colors. You don't go into McDonald's and say "It's 2018 and you still don't serve pizza and pasta..." They don't offer products that fits your taste, so they must be racist?! If the brand doesn't offer what you need, go somewhere else, buy from other brands that offer your shade. And, a foundation that offers wide range of shade doesn't mean you can find one that match. I returned a foundation JUST TODAY, coz after 3 exchanges I still can get one that matches my skin tone. That foundation offers 23 shades. Meanwhile my all time holy grail base makeup has only 3-4 shades available.
I can only speak for myself, but I've never stated nor implied that companies making lesser shade ranges are racist. I have specifically stated across many videos that companies making lesser shade ranges are less inclusive, and I favor inclusivity rather than exclusivity. It's a personal preference, and the reviews I post are my personal opinions on products, so I include shade range information (and my opinions on the shade range). I clearly purchase and continue to buy brands with less inclusive shade ranges, but I favor those with more inclusive shade ranges (mainly because I often can't find a shade match in less inclusive ranges, as in the winter I'm very fair with a more neutral undertone than most brands address on the fair end of the spectrum).

I’m currently having success with Laura Mercier oil-free tinted moisturiser, I mix Porcelain with Nude. Light but very smoothing and long wearing coverage.
Welcome! I'm forever on the hunt for the holy grail! I have some favorites but nothing yet that I'd give up all others for. The search continues! :-D
Appreciate the close up for a better measure of the foundation, thank you

:-D Thanks, Darrele!
Darrele Dunbar the same thing here! 😄
Me too! 🙋

This is the most bendable foundation I’ve ever used, so easy to apply
Thanks for sharing. Aww cute pikachu in the background!
Great review and no matter the crappy lighting in the bathroom you are always the prettiest kitty. Lots of love to you and your cat babies 💗
😺Merlin says thanks (even though he hasn't popped up in a video lately!) :-D

Yes !! Friday foundation fix 🙂
JennNY 81 yay
Sounded nice for being light & not masky for a long wear. Luv the earrings!
Thanks, Jules! Earrings were from Target!
Yes!!! Your skin looks flawless. That foundation is going to be a must try for me. Great review.
It's very pretty! I wish there were more shades!
Very interesting. I enjoy your reviews so much. I don’t know too much about Shiseido makeup, and I am happy to learn more.
They were new to me, too!
Hi Shelly! That eyebrow brush is very intriguing. I'm going to check it out!!! I got the Bronzer you live and it's working out great!!!🌺🌺🌺
Yeah bronzer party!! :-D I've never seen anything like this brow powder brush and I am loving it! One of my favorite foundations. Looks fabulous on you. Your eyes look absolutely stunning.
Thanks, Sue!

Thanks, Ranalynn! I hope you are OK over there in Hawaii with the earthquakes :(
Shelly that looks awesome on you!! I love the way your skin looks with this foundation.
Thanks, Kendy Jane!
Enjoyed your review as usual. By the way, love the eye, hair, sweater color combo - really, really pretty. It's always good to see Ziva in her spot :)
Thanks, JP! Ha it's totally ZIva's new spot, right?!
Great review! I always love and appreciate how thorough you are in your reviews. Have a great weekend!
Thanks, Kate! Happy Saturday!

It wears so well!! I love interesting bottles (and I'm glad that at least this bottle is not evidence of my craziness!)
I think you look absolutely gorgeous and beautiful in this video! Love the foundation and eye makeup!!!
Thanks, Daniella!
So excited for this review! It looked great on you!
Thanks, Kristin!
Very pretty foundation on you...held up well for the number of hours worn...also, like your new brow product...looks really nice. Must still be cold in Va., with a sweater on..turned our air on this week..
We went from winter to summer the last couple days! :-D I got one last sweater day before it got hot lol.
You are the best , look forward to Friday’s just for these reviews!
Thanks, Samantha! The Foundation Mega-Fest will tentatively be June 8-22. I think that's when I'll do the 15 days in a row.

HAHAHAHA nobody puts Ziva in the corner! (except Ziva) 😺😂
💗💗💗💗💗 this looks amazing! I think I may need to try this foundation when I run out of my Estee DW.
The wear is pretty incredible and it's quite pretty!

I think that's a great idea; I'm all for mixing to get the best results possible. Please give me an update on that, if you don't mind.
I bought it but I used half A bottle after half a dozen uses. I will try it again tomorrow. I used sheisido mouse foundation back when I was about 14.
This is the first foundation I've tried from Shiseido!

Thanks, Jen! You know, sometimes I wonder if sample formulas can be different or if smaller amounts behave differently in sample packaging - because I have had that happen more than once where I love a sample and then when I buy the full size it doesn't perform the same.
I'd love to see a review of the Synchro Glow and Burberry Fresh Glow. ☺️
I wonder if Synchro Glow is being discontinued... I just went on Sephora to add it to my list and they're down to 5 darker shades left.
Geek Out of Water Boo, you're right! It looks like the Burberry foundation might be discontinued as well. All seven shades are OOS on the Sephora site. Womp womp! 😂
Thank you for this series, I am so happy I discovered you!!! You do an amazing job!! Have a wonderful weekend =)
Thanks, Linda! I'm working on the next foundation mega-fest - tentatively set for June 8-22 (15 reviews in a row). :-D
Geek Out of Water yay!! Looking forward to it definitely 👍🏻😊💫
Looks good i really like this shade on you. Love foundation friday, i ordered a mally foundation this evening......wish me luck.
Geek Out of Water should be at po anyday, foundation only thing i will pay more for. Have a great time on your vacation
Shelly: they have it at Nordstrom and Macy's. your color is backordered at Nordstrom, but it's in stock at Macy's.
I always try to guess what grade your going to give a foundation by your descriptions and experience with it. It's a little game I play with myself. LOL Enjoyed this video so much. Thanks Shelly!
LOL I'm often told I tend to be more generous than most would be :-D
Shelly, the makeup looks fantastic on your skin! Wish the brand was cruelty free. 😢 Have to ask, do you moisten your beauty blender when applying foundation? I so enjoy your videos! I look forward to watching many more! René
Thanks, Rene! Yep I always use the sponges dampened (I should say that! I often forget).
Hahaha! I love that slight curve on Sheseido packaging. But it is a mind-bleep* 🤯 Also, your skin looked smooooooth in that close up right after application.
TOTALLY messes with my head!!!! 😂I'm having fun playing with this one. The wear time is just phenomenal for such a pretty finish.
I would actually try that brush to tightline. I have trouble getting pigment to stick in between my lashes and it looks perfect that!
I bet it would work!! It's got enough stiffness to it but not so much that you'd poke your eye out.
Geek Out of Water *adds to shopping cart* 😂
I'm super-hoping I can get the KVD anniversary train case tomorrow - I want the anniversary brush set! Well, I want it all.... :-D KVD brushes are so good. I wish she had a larger variety of eye brushes.
Geek Out of Water I really didn’t know that KVD had any brushes. They’re not talked about on YT very much at all as far as I’ve seen.
Another one foundation for dry skin on my xmas wishlist 😁
Btw you look lovely! Also I love the brows..I want to try that brush
I'm pre-filming the next couple weeks so that I'll have videos to post while I'm traveling this summer and I need ideas! lol.
Gonna have to try this! Thanks
😮Holy cow that sucks about the KA oil! I haven't tried the LA Girl brow pencils yet - must grab them! My CVS just got LA Girl :)
Have either of you tried the NYX microbrow pencils? I have one & love it. Our Walgreens has a huge NYX display. It's a double sided large island full of most of their products. They come in quite a few colors as I need a pretty dark brunette shade
Maybe I'll say screw it and just use the new Kat Von D products to color your brows fun colors. Maybe I'll match it to my new pink hair, lol.
I did try NYX microbrow pencils. I think I got ash brown and espresso, and in my lighting, they both had a red undertone.
Also I find YSL touché eclat foundation is great - light medium flawless coverage, a little glow (more satin matte than wet dewy) and quite hydrating. Never looks dry on me, which is a very rare thing. Have you tried it?
I haven't! The YSL All Hours was the first from them that I've tried (and I do love it). I will check out the Touche Eclat!
Great review! 😁 and tomorrow is Cinco KVDe-Mayo! 🎉 Would love to see what products you get 😃
I got up at 6am and the signed train case/vault was already sold out!
I Knew you would like this!!! Angie had a problem ascetically how the lid fits on the bottle! Looking good darling!!! 💕💕💕💕
Thanks! I love any company that tries to pave their own road with packaging. I appreciate the effort because I love quirky little things like that :-D
kira _11 Seriously 😒 way to go you!!!
Love your reviews! I would love to see one on a Avon foundation. The only ones I've seen are by Avon reps..yeah I want the truth
Ooooooh I have a friend that used to sell Avon - I wonder if she still does. I'll find out!
This was the one I was waiting to see...thank you very much! 😗L
So many votes for this one and the Kevyn Aucoin! KA will kick off the Foundation Mega-Fest - tentatively set for June 8-22 :)
Oh did you know they have a glow version of this? This is better for combo oily (that is my jam)
Have you reviewed the foundation Ko Gen Doh Aqua. It is a beautiful foundation. A bit pricey but lovely.
Hi Heidi! I have and it's very pretty! ua-cam.com/video/G-sZB-jDB2o/v-deo.html I got lucky and got it from Costco - their beauty section has some surprise hits! You just have to check it constantly because they come and go so quickly!
great review, thank you
Thanks, Elle!
hi, shelly! really a very pretty foundation on you. just a tiny bit darker than what will work when you are pale. when you self tan, do you think it would be a better color match? love friday foundation fest. have a wonderful weekend! ~k
Yep I'd say with 1 round of self tanner this would be spot on for me.
Lol lost my mind too with the shape of the bottle too, back to video!
LOL I keep going back and forth in my mind that yes, it's definitely curved! Then, no way, it's totally straight. But then it was curved!
Geek Out of Water it is curved I'm almost sure lol roll it on a flat surface!
So glad I found your channel! Same age group, same color range, skin type, and I’m also named Shelly!! 😂
Colossal failure, as friends called me Hokey based on my last name for a decade or so....) 😂
Geek Out of Water Whoa!!! I can’t believe it! I am not a Michelle either!!!!! How awesome is that?!?!?!
🦄🦄🦄🦄 I am also makeup and skincare obsessed 😉
Have you tried the Shiseido Synchro Glow? It's a more radiant version for dryer skin. You might like it more than the Synchro Skin - same benefits but fewer drawbacks.
No but I definitely want to! Even this one looks so nice on camera. There’s potential here! I will definitely get the glow version next time a sale pops up.
Shelly about the Strivectin primer- does it help blur pores as well?
It does not blur pores as much as it blurs lines and texture - just a little bit. I'm getting so extra right now but I've been experimenting with the StriVectin on most of my face, then the Benefit PoreFessional just on my pore areas. I wouldn't get that silly for reviews but it is working quite nicely :-D
Good review!!
Thanks, Linda!
How many shades is it too dark for u u think?
I'd say probably a full shade too dark for me at that time of year when I'm fully pale. Probably just about right for my normal not-self-tanning summer color.
could you please try Estee louder pore minimizer serum
Added to the list! Thanks, Reva!
At least it's getting worn.
aside from the color, the foundation looks great on you
Thanks, Adeline!
Random nerd thought here: could you add a fun fact about the product you’re testing ..more often? I love knowing stuff like Shiseido is more than a century old brand... facts and science and data yayay
Sure!! :-D
whats your favorite foundation ??
Since I have over 200 foundations, I have a lot of favorites. It's safe to say that anything that gets a grade of 90 or higher rotates through my favorites - here's the master list of them all and their rankings: geekoutofwater.com/foundation-fest/
@@goow thanks a lot....ill check it out :))
I think that one looks beautiful! Your skin is just gorgeous! Whatever you're doing keep doing it!!!
When you kept talking about separation from raising your eyebrows, this popped into my head: ua-cam.com/video/1jOk8dk-qaU/v-deo.html
Wow
Nice ! 😜😜😜
Why support animal testing???? There are too many choices in this day and age. 👎🏼
