Thematic funds will deliver short term returns good based on inflows/economic situations. Thematic funds are short term investments and for long term its good to invest in Index funds/Index ETF's, Mid cap Mf's and Bluechip MF's. These are evergreen and good investment for Long term/Future generations. Almost all MF's under this category will perform or deliver same returns. *Choose Axis MF house/Nippon MF house* .. etc. Beauty of investing into ETF's is, whatever stocks is there in that ETF they will get dividend amount and same dividend amount they invest in ETF's. so ETF's growth will be more compare to Index funds. ( Its personal opinion, please do check with your finance advisor before investing)

We can observe the same trend in large, mid, and small-cap indices. For instance, if the small-cap index performs well for five years, it is likely that in the following period, it won't grow as rapidly, while the large-cap index may perform better. For me intension of this video is not clear but kept excellent efforts in gathering & analysing the past data. One thumb rule is, either it's stock/ mf if the underlying asset is our valued and investor entries during overvaluation period then obviously there is high probability to book loss.
Since inspection all funds given better returns compare to Sensex...and Pharma fund never given negative returns compare to Sensex as per your NIPPON pharma fund...please verifiy that.
