Obanai is like: "I don't have time for trash pupils, y'all might as well be useful as additional obstacle stakes". His jealousy was so weirdly endearing.
Please don't be surprised at Tanjiro not knowing anything about pancakes or butter. Japan was isolated from the rest of the world for over two centuries; by the time of this story, the borders had been open for only about 50 years. The use of dairy products like butter was still relatively new to Japan. Most Japanese didn't eat things that needed knives and forks (such as pancakes), since so few of them used those utensils. And since Tanjiro lived so far out in the countryside, it makes sense that he'd never eaten or heard of such 'modern' food.

Obanai hating Tanjiro because he's jealous of the time spent with Kanroji was so cute 😂The training part was really intense, even more so when you consider how sensible Tanjiro is to others around him being in distress.
The entire segment with Sanemi was just one big brawl, no redeeming qualities there, they were all wilding out and poor Zenitsu actually had a valid reason to run away this time.
That moment between Genya and Sanemi seems harsh at a first glance but if you actually listen to what Sanemi tells him, you realize he just wants his little brother to live, that's why he keeps telling him to quit the Demon Slayer Corps. The whole "I'm eating demons" idea was a bit stupid in hindsight, telling his brother about it, given what we know of their backstory from season 3, episode 6.
This really was an insane episode.

what Sanemi meant by ruin him beyond recovery and trying to gouge his eyes out is he wanted to sap his demon recovery out fully basically beat him up until he can no longer regenerate that's why he went for his eyes

For me, Sanemi and Iguro are psychopaths (a little) /crazy their fighting skills are beyond human capabilities. The craziest anime characters I've ever seen.

Why is Sanemi a psychopath?? You do realise that eating demons is a big taboo according to corps rules right?? It poses extreme danger to one who eats, those around him and corps itself as Muzan can read minds of those who become a demon. If Sanemi wasn't the wind hashira Genya would most likely be executed for doing such a thing. Blinding him so that he leaves the corps was pretty lenient compared to that
