Man he asked what the mission of the air force and he didn't know, my master sergeant always told me with marines they rather have a answer rather than I don't know. You told them you didn't know they would chew you out more. Key is to sound condfident and answer.
The funniest part... They're in the Air Force JROTC and they don't even know something that AF trainees learn the very first week of Basic Training... It was a simple sentence really.

Apparently, during my scouting days I had to yell so loud because of three Patrols (10 men squad) of Grade 6 scouts for being undisciplined, unable to keep their tents organized and clean... And it totally pissed me off and I actually yelled at 'em like gunny hartman...

The good thing for the group being inspected is that the inspectors are Sergeants and not Staff Sergeants.

I’m a marine corps veteran, I’ve watched a few of these type of videos, this whole thing is just strange.. like if someone wants to join the military when they’re an adult than so be it, but doing this with teenagers is just odd in my opinion.

In Canada we have cadets and we can earn medals but these kids have three racks of them, why? Can someone explain this please?
Spider-Man Fan because they get like medals for everything like attendance and other stuff like that, feel it's a bit ot as they look like they've served In like 50 tours
Medals are somewhat harder to get it really depends on your instructor and your school.
The ribbons on the other hand it's quite easy to get those you got them for everything.
The yelling part puts stress onto these young men & women who are in this program. Having someone scream in your face is intimidating & stressful. Adding that little bit of stress helps the cadets to think & speak while under stress.

haha our inspection took only 5 minuets, and there was 2 drill instructors, but they were army, ps i like California's State flag

This is how it is for Saturday Morning Inspections and Friday Afternoon Inspections at the Citadel. We usually have MECEPS (Marine NCOs continuing their college degree) perform the PA inspections. We are issued de-militarized M14s for the parades and inspections.
I hate to say, but I got a bigger butt chewing from a Marine Colonel. This is just a walk in the park.
