I will always give you guys the upmost respect for what you do while fishing alone with these huge toothy predators. You have everything organised for that potentially life changing challenge and British record fish. If you ever need a mate on board to help with those important adjustments please don't hesitate to ask. Fantastic video.
Thanks for sharing, really enjoyed the video. Having heard reports of Threshers seen jumping on the East side of the Island, we spent most of Sunday drifting St Catherines Deep, no sign of life around there at all so think our search will take us out further to the south of the Island next time. Happy hunting. 😊
Top vid again mate but do yourself a favour , get yourself a smaller tag gun if your going to do tope , they have a 3.5mm injector, that one you used is fine for big fish but way to big for tope.
I’m fully aware it’s a bit big for a tope and I obviously bear that in mind when using it .. I’m not stabbing the bloody thing with it . A quick jab to secure the tag under the skin 👍🏻
@@thesolentwarrior584 i no mate, just an observation that saves a 25mm hole vs a 3.5mm hole, i no mean well with the tagging and fair play to you for doing it ,just making you aware they do special ones for tope and spurs with the smaller tags that the tagging programme will happily give you . Good luck with the thresher

Quick question do you take out people fishing as well
Not at the moment Andrew .. but soon it may be a possibility 😊
Ok thank you I have a mate who goes to the same hair dresser as you he is very keen fishing guy I would happily pay for him for the experience
Why do you tag the fish?
It’s a shark tagging program for NOAA … so if the fish is caught again they can determine how far it’s traveled , size it’s gained and condition .
