"At the end of your life, all you have are memories and compensation can't buy you that" . Great words! Thank you sir!!!
It’s a valuable gem, I agree! Thank you for watching!
As an aspiring nephrologust after im residency i do like this video
Fantastic to see this as a lifelong renal patient who has known and worked with my nephrologist for the past 30 years, including being trained by him in nephrology so I can be my own expert and empowered in my own care, it's great to see it from a Neph's perspective.
It’s great that you took the initiative to empower yourself for your own care. Also I’m glad you enjoyed the video- thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing this! I worked as a dialysis patient care tech for over a year and will be starting med school this summer.
Nephrology and internal medicine in general definitely seem interesting to me! 😊
No problem, good luck with med school!
I couldn't watch, the loud generator sound was too distracting. Hope this criticism will help you improve in the future.
Thank you! This helped solidify my choice to become a nephrologist..
No problem, thank you for watching! It’s a great specialty- I’m sure you’ll really enjoy it!
This is such a great video. I came back home today after not being able to match into a Cardiology rotation (Housejob) and since nobody opted for Nephrology, I was kind of stuck there. After watching this video I feel so better and who knows what it may hold. Great interview, thumbs up
Thank you! Sorry to hear about the placement. Nephrology is fascinating, and who knows, maybe you’ll end up a nephrologist or at least liking it a lot more than you thought you would ;). I appreciate it, thanks for watching 🙏
Thanks for doing nephro! I hardly see people interview nephrologists (:
HeyHiHelloBujo No problem! Thanks for watching!
It’s great that you get these people to interview with you, not sure if my consultants would be up for it! Might try lol. Great video xx
Dr. Nosa Yeah, a lot of doctors don’t want to be on camera, and some hospitals don’t allow any recording. Thanks!
wow, Dr. Ad, you're getting all the specialties. Thanks. Also... Thank you for throwing my resume up on the right monitor. 👊
Joel E Dang, you have eagle eyes, Dr. J
Joel E and yup, I’m trying to

How to Medicate Very cool, and I agree! Thank you!
I'm starting med school in July and just stumbled across your channel. Great stuff!! Thank you for your informative videos.
Hey, congrats on getting into med school!!!! Thank you for stopping by and for your positive comments! I made a video on best med school resources that might be helpful. Best of luck- feel free to ask any questions.
@@DrAdnan Thanks man! I really appreciate it

No problem, thank you for watching!!
Great interview.
Thank you!!!
You are in every video's comment section I watch .. not the one that related to medicine ,, .but yeah I guess youtube has for both of us the same algorithm 😆
Goodluck 💕
I’m usually in the med ones more- I must be slacking ;). Thank you!
A question I would ask is how often do you have patients with Anti-GBM/Goodpasture's Disease/vasculitis?
Not often since they’re rare diseases- anti-gbm is around ~0.5-1.5 cases/million/yr
This was great 🤘🏼
Thanks Andrew!
Wondered treatment options for a 91 year old past heart attack has itch restless legs lethargy anaemia no appetite. Would dialysis be offered etc or palliative care. Is a cough med first line palliative care med ever? Gfr was 21.
Sorry, I’d recommend they see a local primary care provider to assess them properly.
heyy, i want to become a nephrologist and I would like to get more info. I was trying to look for someone who could possibly guide me and provide me more information as I am thinking about doing nephrology. Could you please advise me. I would appreciate that. ❤️
I don’t know what stage you’re at, but first step would be getting into med school and then an internal medicine residency after medical school, and then apply for a fellowship in your last years of residency
As a 6th yr medical student I fucking love your videos bro. Would love it if you could interview an orthopod next! Subbed
Thank you! I got you-
