Of the dozens of videos I've watched about a shemagh, this one is by far the best!

Bulky but much more effective than a bandanna. You never cease to amaze man, good job.

What's next, you going to show me how to put on a dress too!......just teasing, I started wearing one after I got back from the Middle East in 93. I still wear one when I go far north in the summer to keep me cool and the sun off my Mellon! Good video

I like the 3rd way shown (no tie; both ends tucked)... haven't seen anyone else on youtube demonstrate that method. Looks good and didn't have any trouble UNdoing just one end without the whole thing falling off.

I'm not a tactical person per se, just some one who likes to be either warmer or protected from the elements. Thanks for the instructions.

Thanks Ed! The timing of this video couldn't be better! I have been considering getting a shemagh to replace the bandana that I usually carry. Yesterday day I was poking around the Web looking at them but couldn't make up my mind. After watching this I'm off the fence and will be ordering a couple.

What size are your Shemagh's? They seem to come in different sizes... Or maybe a better question to ask is what size would you recommend? Great demonstrations and thank you!

You said that you were only going to do 4, but then you easily did double that. You're pretty damn cool, for a yankee (teasin').

Funny, but before the conflict in the middle east (late 80's), no one even knew what these were. But civilian population -always wanting to be "tactical" - picked it up from the US "Special Operation" soldiers who were using it for extra sun protection and dust protection. (Regular soldiers could not use them, as they violated the Army dress code).
