I love Nick's role in this story, he never gets anything for granted, he always tries to help and protect her... No matter what. He knows her very well, he knows she's a badass and even if she's scared she gonna do what she needs to do, it doesn't matter if his life or job (as an eye) is in danger.. he loves her more than himself and he always has her back, he knows who she is now, he knows how to reassure her, he can manage her craziness and he's part of it no matter what because he believes she deserves everything she wants and needs. 💕 Luke is only a spectator, he believes that June is still the same as 7 years ago, he fled when he believed his daughter and his wife were dead, even knowing they were still alive he stayed in a safe place and he did nothing to be back to Gilead and save them. That's why we stand Nick.
I've been binging on June and Nick's edits and I must say, this is the best thus far. It captures the intricacies of their relationship/love story so well. You did justice to both characters.
You need to see the show. It's one hell of a masterpiece. It does have its weaknesses... But it has so so many positives. And read the books from Atwood too. She's the mastermind behind it all
