Nice coverage. That has to be the lowest crowd at an FA Trophy final for a very long time, mind? There is hardly anyone there. Which is not surprising. I have watched both teams play at home to sub 200 crowds only a few years back. Kudos to those who turned up,

Thank you very much for watching 😃, today was my 3rd Non-League finals day and I have to say it’s one of the things I look forward to the most at the end of the season (regardless of attendance). When I went to my first one in 2022, there were loads of people, I can’t remember the exact attendance but I remember the FA Trophy was between Bromley and Wrexham, there were way more people at that game in 2022 than the FA Trophy final in 2023 and 2024 combined. It is a shame that Wembley doesn’t get more full on days like today. I’ve heard a lot of people say that Finals day shouldn’t be played at Wembley because it kills the atmosphere, I do partially agree but I feel like the teams who get to the final have the right to play at Wembley. Anyway I’m waffling on a bit now 😂, thank you so much again for watching 😃👍

gateshead gets over 800- 1000 every home game, non bad seeing it's within spitting distance of St.James' park

A lot of newcastle fans also support gateshead, but newcastle had a home game the same day, so gatesheads support was depleted by thousands.

Like the coverage; not the homework! Do again, and see me, lol!
The reason Heed were play-off denied, and I'm a Southend fan, is because the International Stadium, aka the council, won't offer the club a 10-year lease: a ridiculous demand by the league, btw. That's because said council want to offload the stadium.
We're having our own ongoing problems with an owner...

Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed, and yes I will admit I was a bit ill equipped with information on the Gateshead stadium, I knew it was something to do with Gateshead council but I wasn’t sure on the ins and outs of the matter, thank you for informing me!!, and hopefully Southend get all of their problems off the pitch cleared up as quickly as possible as well! Thanks again for watching 😃🙌

Thank you for the kind words 😃, yeh it is a shame that neither fan bases could’ve brought a few more fans, but they still had excellent atmospheres nevertheless!!

Why does the West Midlands, seem to be a pit of failure football wise, every season?
    Look at it!
    Birmingham City relegated.
Aston Villa heavily defeated in semi-finals in Europe.
Walsall Fc fail to reach the play-offs.
Kidderminster Harriers relegated back down into the Vanarama League.
Solihull Moors lose out in a penalty play-off, then let it slip away AGAIN in the FA Trophy Final.
The next failure will be West Bromwich Albions bid to get through the play-offs into The Premier League.
The misery never ends in the Midlands, does it?😢
Very annoying record of let downs to say the least!!😢😢😢

It certainly seems like a miserable few months for the midlands clubs but especially for Solihull, like I said in the video, I can’t believe they’ve lost two penalty shootouts in a row!!, hopefully things improve next season!!, thanks for watching 😃

There’s no one there because mos people that live near Gateshead support Newcastle and no one’s fucking heard of Solihull moors

    • @olliesmith9933

Solihull Moors are complete tinpot with no identity. They smashed Solihull Borough (who used to average 200) together with Moor Green (who used to average 200) after the latters stadium burned down. Solihull Moors were then formed and had 200 averages again for years. Someone obviously had some wonga to propel them up the pyramid and that, combined with free tickets being given away left, right and centre, eventually created a below average National League fan base. It would have been a travesty to see them go up when teams like Oldham languish.
