The defense in this game is the worse I ever seen in madden. Mahomes was 15-15 for 300+ yards and 3tds by halftime when I played against him!! I just don’t understand why it’s so hard to make a decent game
Why does some off the players just stand instead of going for the ball
What I absolutely dislike about this Madden is that there is no option to turn off match coverage. I can’t remember which Madden it was, but you could turn match off and those plays would play as regular zone plays. I was playing 25 and realized that all of the cover 4 plays in Big Nickel and my 2-3-6 are match plays and I have my safety and CB chasing a WR, leaving the left side wide open for the WR or TE coming from the right. It’s so annoying.
press y/triangle and lb/l1 it cancels match

Yo can someone plz tell me why in franchise mode, the players on my team with superstar abilities/x factors don’t show the abilities “lighting up” when activated.
I need help in MUT. My players never activate. But mfs start with Chris Johnson activated and he going crazy with that spin move
Sometimes, it's one of the first paths in the oc talent tree and you can activate it by spending staff points on it.
when everyone has to make a video on "how to play defense" and they're all different....hmm maybe your game has no defense...just sayin!

Anybody playing Franchise mode? If so does the CPU QB automatically go off against you in the 4th quarter no matter how much you’re up? I can be up 28 points and we will have maybe 125 yards and then 4th quarter they will throw for 200 easily

Should you put your safeties at sublb like in the previous madden?
Linebackers can jump well again so it's not as necessary to sub safeties in now.

Challenging is not the word I’d use. More like worthless. I don’t want to have to run certain plays to stop the cpu. I just want my players to try. Stop standing around or wandering around the field randomly. Idk who coded this game but they fumbled, hard

I’m sick and tired of Madden constantly trying to take away my user. I’m trying to go one way and the cpu keeps trying to make me go the opposite way. I turned off all the ball hawk settings. Still does it

What do I do against someone you is constantly blitzing. Every down they do it and it causes so many interceptions!!! This game is driving me crazy . College football I am pretty good but Madden I just suck
RPOs, flat routes, drag routes, blocking TE and RB. Also figure out if it's a man or zone blitz because every zone blitz has holes in the coverage typically wherever the blitzer is coming from. With man blitzes try zig routes or other quick man beating routes

I just said the samething. I get 3-6 Ints a game. QBs will have 150 coming into the 4th and then throw for 200 in the 4th alone
@@dannynixon5045 frfr bro same thing happened last night I played Kirk Cousins and ATL he had like 105 passing yds going into the 4th ended up with 300 smh. You’ve gotta mix up your play calling. I normally use the nickel look and use like 5-10 plays from that formation

Bro there's no tips for defense lol zones are bad man is bad stem glitches and judkins spin....
Those things will be patched soon, understanding the basics of defense will still help you in the long run.

Brother you do realize that's what "101" means, right? 101 is another way of saying beginner/basic. Yes I make these same vids every year, because every year there are a lot of new people who are getting the game for the first time, or for the first time in years and don't remember everything. There's a reason they do the most views, more people do need this than anything else. When I do "pro" or "advanced" tips, it'll be in the title.
